HOMEMADE NUTELLA RECIPE
1.5 cups of hazelnuts, toasted and peeled
1/2 cup powdered coconut sugar*
3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tablespoon hazelnut oil (or melted coconut)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
pinch of kosher sea salt
If you’re nuts are not already toasted, place on a rimmed baking sheet and pop into a 300ºF oven for 20 minutes or until the skins are beginning to crack.
Transfer toasted nuts onto a clean dish towel, folded over the nuts, and roll them around to loosen the skins. Remove as much as the outer skins as you can, without driving yourself crazy.
Pop the hazelnuts into a food processor and blend for 2-3 minutes or until it looks like nut butter (it will be thick and creamy).
Add in the powdered coconut sugar, cocoa powder, hazelnut oil, vanilla and salt. Blend again, until all of the ingredients have come together and create a rich and creamy chocolate hazelnut spread. If the mixture seems to thick, add an extra teaspoon or so of oil, until you reach the desired consistency.
Transfer into an airtight container and store in the fridge for up to one month. Enjoy!
*To make the coconut powdered sugar, place one cup of coconut sugar in a high speed blender and blend, on high, for about 30 seconds or until the sugar has become fine and light. You will notice that some of the sugar will be so fine that it will be rising up in the blender (it almost looks like smoke), leave the lid on for about 5 minutes so all the sugar can settle down.
Store any unused sugar in an airtight container in a cool, dry place.

I rarely write comments-- but this was soo good! It even tastes better than actual Nutella. I didn't have any coconut sugar (because it's super expensive here) and I am fine with refined sugar so I added 1/8 cups of regular powdered sugar and 1/8 cups of brown sugar. I didn't use honey because the last time I did, it seized up and it was horrible. Really. Thank you for sharing this recipe! (You can achieve the silky texture of actual Nutella if you run the food processor for a little bit longer but it turns out too liquidy. That's the only con! Other than that, I suggest everyone giving this a try :) )
Not a shocker. Real Nutella is made from crap, like palm oil, preservatives and barely any hazelnuts.
breakfast boi: today white sugar is gmo and made from gmo beets (cheaper than cane sugar), not from cane sugar. Brown sugar is white sugar with some of the molasses put back in. Today, at least in the USA, it needs to say cane sugar or non-gmo for it to be even the white sugar we used to know.
But do you realize, when you say you are fine with white sugar, that white sugar is totally devoid of any nutrients and that it takes nutrients *out of* our bodies because of what the body must go through to pass it through our system? Thus all the diabetics it has created in the world - a sad and ever more terrible as it progresses conditions, strictly caused through eating white sugar - or maybe through being a terrible alcoholic for years upon years.
Non- GMO white sugar has some uses, as in preserving or pickling, processes in which its chemistry changes to something beneficial to the body.
you can add in a teaspoon of sunflower (or soy) lethicin or any vegan emulsifier to thicken up the nutella. I tried it with that ingredient and the texture was amazing!
You all have been asking me for homemade nutella for a while, so here it is!! I hope you get to give this a try, it's SO good. XO-Dani

I did use blander, and yes it took me longer, but it was worth it!
And I used just a coconat suger, I didn't make it powder, and it still good!
I did this and it got soooooo good! Only differences are that I used half normal powdered sugar and half dark brown blended sugar. Also I used a bit less hazelnut oil and put in a little bit of olive oil and butter (the butter made it REALLY good)
What an easy recipe, thanks.

I made it, it came out perfect, absolutely delicious in taste and texture. I used a bit less than 1/2 cup of the sugar and 1,5 tbs of coconut oil.

THANK YOU FOR THE RECIPE...🤝😋🌰
A lovely recipe !! I am ordering my hazelnuts online !!
Can u make a video on homemade hummus or any other dip?! Thank you!!
Reema R.
Yummy idea!
you just need chickpeas, tahini (sesame oil i believe) lemon and garlic :)) from an actual arab, lol
Yessss!!
Just blend 1 can of chickpeas, one garlic clove, some salt, a tablespoon or two(depending on how you like it) of Tahini, a tablespoon of lemon juice, some cumin, and some olive oil. That’s all! Pretty easy. The Tahini makes it thicker while the olive oil makes it lighter and more liquidy in consistency so add these two according to your preference
Tj A please see Kar Chef’s recipe for hummus.
I made this recipe for the first time today. It was easy and simple except for the removal of the skins that was a workout and so time consuming I think next time I make it I'll do the roasting & remove the skin the days before. It was a hit my family all loved it so I will be making it again and again. I felt good knowing they were eating a healthy nutella :)
Thank you for this recipe. I'm happy I found your channel. I also make the energy balls and they're a big hit too. Thanks again :)
I like ur recipes but love the way u finish ur videos ur funny! 😁😁
Thank you so much - for will try this with stevia and coconut oil. Just an fyi might not be the best idea to directly dip apple (or anything) right into the jar...
Looks delicious!I want to know for how long does it last?
Can't wait to try this yum😋...can I use stevia rather than coconut sugar?
Wow 🤩
Can this be made with liquid stevia?
I just made this today. It's "the bomb" and I can't wait to put it in a smoothie!
I had to sub coconut oil for the hazelnut as I couldn't find it on grocery shelves. It turned out very rich so a little goes a long way.
I put a teaspoon on some vanilla bean ice cream and it paired well. It didn't freeze over like the Magic Shell but it tasted great!
Thank you so much
Never tried it from the store because of the added refined sugar, but this looks really good! Good video as always.
great video!
can I please know if the substitutes listed below be used instead?
instead of coconut sugar - monk fruit with a erythritol blend sweetener?
tablespoon of coconut oil/hazelnut - olive oil instead?
Can i use honey instead of coconut sugar ? You're amazing btw thanks for all your videos
awesome cook x
