Yup, when I used UA-cam back in 2005,6,7,8 to upload videos I was getting dozens of views a day, I never put any hashtags or promoted any of the videos in any way. UA-cam has changed, they only promote videos that fit their agenda, and more over their financiers agenda. The advertisers are the ones calling the shot on UA-cam anymore. UA-cam is no longer UA-cam UA-cam is Big Corporation tube. You are just their slave

It’s already this. UA-cam will only show you what interests you. If you scroll through your own subscriptions you’ll probably come across channels you didn’t even know you were still subscribed to. Subs are more of a vanity thing.
It doesn't seem to matter what i post on UA-cam or TikTok for that matter. They never get pushed; despite people i know but have no aligence to me saying they think my videos are great, good or funny. I am at a total loss at what exactly I'm supposed to do

Thanks for the video, but the main problem for most people is UA-cam not actually pushing your video out to people, impressions. My last video I put out 6 days ago. Has 500 views (very low compared to my previous videos) Has 68 likes (ZERO dislikes) an impressive 13.5% CTR (way above my longer videos, which avg at 6.5%) But youtube has only given it 2,000 impressions over the course of the 6 days. Showing it to approx 10 people an hour. Only 10 an hour? Why is this? Is it because it is under 8 minutes? Probably... that's the only logical reason that comes into my head. UA-cam just doesn't want to push sub 8-10 min videos to people. Or pehaps it just viewed the performance of my other videos and wasn't too impressed by the response (although I think they did well) This latest video was intentionally shorter, as it was going to be used to help bring more people over to my longer videos. Not everyone has 30mins+ to sit an watch a video, so maybe put off clicking on my other content. If I could draw them in with a 5 min video to get an idea of what my channel is, I was hoping when they had more time on their hands, they would move onto the longer videos. Any thoughts on this would be really appreciated!

These are some great tips, but the fact that your videos get 1-5k views tells me that there's something more to getting views than just retention editing, amazing titles, and nice thumbnails.
Idea ceiling. The amount of UA-cam creators who are beginners who are not getting views who are actively searching for a video on why they are not getting views. My idea has set the ceiling on how many views I can get. However, these are THE RIGHT viewer who I want on my channel. This video currently gets 100-200 views per 48 hours which is bringing the right viewer to the channel over the long term. I know it won't get million views like other videos on the channel but that's not always the goal. Sometimes a videos goal is to make money, connect with your current community, etc...

So if your revenue is anywhere close to mine, you average $6.00-$9.00 per video. The HUGE question I have is, how are you getting sponsorships if your view count is so low? @@brickflix4949 There's definitely more to earning money on UA-cam than AdSense. I did a video few months ago sharing how I make money but last year I did about $130K on this channel. Adsense for me is about $3.50 as well but I also make money on affiliate marketing (This can be $10-$50 per sale and sometimes recurring meaning I get paid each month they stay a customer) brand deals (I've made anywhere from $500-$3,000 per video depending on multiple factors) and consultations. (Usually charge $150-200/hr) On the brand side, sometimes brands just want your content to run as ads and have no care for your reach. Some want your specific audience demographic as its who would buy their products. For me and this video we are on, the goal is to establish myself as someone who understands youtube and push my consults and the 1of10 tool which is a recurring affiliate. The goal is LONG TERM impact. When a video ranks in search it may get low views at first but over time it grows bringing my consistent leads. I could do better in some of these aspects, but i cant afford great technology, and to be honest i think the problem isnt me, its that youtube doesnt care anymore to promote new channels. There are so many people with millions and millions of subscribers that they only promote those people and leave everyone else to rot. Ive tried doing a lot of these things, but the issue keeps being that my videos just arent getting promoted. How are you supposed to combat that?

I looked at your channel and you are not following the steps from this video. Your topic hasn’t changed in any of your videos. Just reloading clips from games without adding value is going to get your channel blocked from being monetized or removed for stealing content from TNT or whoever.

I just want ppl to watch the condensed games on MY channel. I exceeded the 1K subscribers mark but 99,99% are from shorts (which I found relatively great succes with). There is not much value I can add to a game. I don`t have the expertise nor the experience (and pretty much I don`t want to) to make comments on players or plays. I can try it, but I don`t think it would make much difference. When it comes to thumbnails and titles, I just think they are pretty eye-catching (just tried some vidiq suggestions lately but nothing changed). My channel is based on my hobby for aquariums but I think I need to look more into SEO and getting search results. My editing and thumbnails are good. When I try and upload a GTA5 clip with zero violence or speech, it gets 0-5 views but I’ve seen people post full on GTA5 footage and they get millions of views… EFFING BS if you ask me 🤷🏼♂️
found a solution - same problem here! I posted same video on 3 different channel - on all 3 I got the 0 view glitch but on one channel I solved the problem! its the channel and video settings! just have a look! I was trying so hard - avoid deleting videos! and no reupload!
@creatorsuccess123 Hi I came on your page for a visit - you definitely dealing with some set up issues - 1 your account is not old enough. 2 the settings what I meant is before uploading to UA-cam clear clean the complete system! cookies caches aso. restart even your router. with new channel you can upload only once a week without falling into the 0 view glitch. after a while 3 times a week. UA-cam recon you as as bot or spam. let. me know if its working for you know - I have issue I stuck at 10k every video - another glitch to solve - maybe anyone knows the answer to my problem. thank you so much - we need to stay together
@creatorsuccess123 every 24 h the route automaticly creating new ip adress, so if you wait more than I would say 48 hours you never run into this issue of the 0 view glitch from uploading to often. so UA-cam will not Recon you as bot or spam - that's the background information for restarting the router just make 100% sure
@creatorsuccess123 once the channel is flagged by UA-cam - it takes some time - I can't say how long, I preferred to start over again and doing it right from the start, maybe in your case leave your channel for 1 month alone and try again. this was working with one of my channels

I'm struggling now on some channels with the 10k glitch - 25 shorts in a row all stuck at 10 - 15k - if you hear something please let me know - normally every 7 to15 video (shorts) should hit the algo and go viral up to 100k. this is normal - otherwise your channel has kind of flag

I posted different content in one Channel like gaming video and anime edit. Is that why i have stopped getting views? I have 18 subs i had 200 views in my 3 video, i have 18 video in my account 9 video and 9 short but there are some content mix like i said. And now i am having no views for like 2 videos what should i do

Very nice video. It's a good content. You suppose to have million views on it you just have 1.700 thousands. The problem is not thumbnail it's just UA-cam, remove this video on your channel reupload it tomorrow, write the description, same thumbnail. It could have million views. I think getting views now it's just chance

Dude this is generic advice that all the other "gurus" are putting out. People need answers to why they're getting no views EVEN when they're optimizing the crap out of their videos, video descriptions, titles, and thumbnails.
@@craiglearner9853 You apparently didn’t listen to the video. You can optimize the crap out of your videos and it will do nothing if you’re not starting with VIEWER INTEREST. It all comes down to topic choice because UA-cam ONLY recommends videos based on viewer watch history and search history.
Maybe if multiple channels with over 100K subs are all saying the same thing they might be on to something? 🤔🤔🤔
And all you see is these videos of people telling you how to do something and they have a million views Like, why are y'all the spokesman for youtube? They have a computer system that keeps people down and that is not right. It's not natural. I put the same videos on tik tok, and I got 3000 views and 284 likes with the same video.
