The end of the interview gave me goosebumps Piers asked him how his parents (whose families were wiped out in the holocaust) would have reacted to October 7 He answered: “It was unthinkable that they would have a kind word to say about Germans… I accepted, that given their life experience, they had the RIGHT to hate the people who destroyed their lives. And the people of Gaza have the RIGHT to hate the people who destroyed their lives”
This is unadulterated truth. It made me imagine his poor parents in the camps & his grandparents & entire family that got killed in there. He stayed true to their soul truth & didn’t deny Palestinians the same understanding & right
What about the lives of all the children, women and the elderly that have been killed over 7 decades. Why does he always want people to say what he wants them to say.
Here's the practical reality: If Palestinians/Hamas laid down their arms, they could live in peace with the Jews. If Israel/Jews laid down their arms, the Palestinians/Hamas would exterminate the Jews. And that's a fact.

Dr. Finkelstein was my professor at NYU. I was only in my late teens back then (I'm now almost 47) but he is still the greatest teacher I ever had (and put all my other teachers at NYU to shame). The lessons he imparted to me resonated profoundly throughout my whole life. I still quote John Stuart Mill often to this day (a favorite philosopher of his). He was not just a supremely decent man but had the most integrity in a person I've ever encountered outside of my family. The older I get, the more I can appreciate his vast inner strength and greatness of character. Norman, if you are reading this I hope you know I am so grateful all those years ago for always being such a kind, warm-hearted, and profoundly positive role model for me. You truly make this world a better place and raise my faith in humanity. I love you very much. You deserve such a better world than this one...but I guess we all do. Despite such tragedies in this fragmented world, I hope all of you reading this have a wonderful week.
You really see Piers trying to turn the interview into screams and scratches again as with everyone who slightly disagrees with him, but he was not able to get Norman who is a brilliant and serious man. He handled Piers so gracefully and easily. Thank you for standing for Palestine and not being shamed into hating on the oppressed and turning your back on them, thank for giving them a chance. It is an honor to have people like Norman on our side❤

Lol same. Finkelstein really thought "I should engage Piers in a way he can understand" and found Susan Boyle as his common ground. It kinda reminds me of a father patiently trying to explain to his son why it's wrong to push kids on the playground.
Hahahaha! Ditto. But wonderfully human association - to relate this unseen and gorgeous talent of Susan Boyle to the "invisible" people of Gaza - comparing them to a songbird. It humanized everything for me with its absurdity and it's realness.
Piers likes to think he has the measure of all his guests, that he can undermine every argument they present, but he's out of his depth with Norman Finkelstein, not that he would ever admit that to himself!
As Jews against the occupation, we express our profound love and respect for you Dr Finkelstein. You uphold the best traits of humanity. Thank you. And thank you Piers.
I had the privilege of listening to this man speak at my university! The hostility he was met with by his “own people” was astounding but the praise and love received was even more beautiful. It’s sad to see him get older and slow down a bit - he was sharp and always on his game. God bless him! He’s been at the forefront of Jewish voices for peace and for the rights of the Palestinians. They threatened him, tried to take away tenure and so much more and he remained strong and outspoken. God bless you Dr. Finklestien! You’re an icon ❤❤
The very same thing has happened to my Noam Chomsky 😭. Just imagine him in his 40's debating Ben Shapiro or any of these modern day charlatans, it would be glorious!
I dont think he has slowed down. He is an extremely emphatatic person and this massacre has taken a toll on him. Also, he is trying extra hard to stay calm as Piers tries to make him say what he wants to hear only. Also Norman said he hadnt been in a doctor’s office in years and doing his best to stay healthy, so there is no stroke or anything. He is very healthy and sharp considering he is almost 70. May he have many more long healthy years .

Refuses to acknowledge/talk about it & refuse to let anyone else talk about it either, then starts throwing the terrorist supporter label around again & refuses to answer a single question. Piers is the most manipulative weasel I've seen in a long time, aside from Netanyahu. Piers is the stain of a wet fart, along with his beloved hate preaching racist liar Douglas Murray. Piers is also one of the biggest contributors to the 'culture of fear'; a technique used to control the masses through perceived fear. I won't 'admit' & don't 'have to admit' untruths & play into psychopathy. Normal people's first question would usually be 'why did this happen' but we're not allowed to talk about that (according to Piers that makes us the same as Isis, al queda etc rather than human) meanwhile, look at world war 2, you think they UNDERSTOOD what was going on before engaging? This time it's narrative & shut any humanity down -> engage. Did you see the way piers was looking at the prof? He's full of hatred, it's in his beady eyes. Why? Because the people who have actually been victim to Israel & their monstrous ways, their stories don't fit piers current narrative of 'hero Israel, terrorist palestine'.

But when I hear him in plenty of other interviews I see a spark still burning. He’s still fighting for what he believes. And this is good news for the world and for Palestine.
This was soo heartbreaking. To realize that even someone like Dr Norman lost all hopes for Palestinians to ever be free, just shows how impossible the situation was. The situation needed October 7th, and 13 thousands deaths for the world for finally notice what's been going on for decades. Piers Morgan, if you were one of those Palestinian, if you were in THEIR shoes, you would get the point Finkelstein is making. You would go to the same lengths, you would commit atrocities! You are expecting people who were born and will die in concentration camp conditions to behave with dignity. You are expecting people who are treated inhumanely to behave humanely, you are expecting people who are persecuted, hate, confined to a ghetto to fight a war according the Queensbury Rules. I understand the point Finkelstein is making; he isn't condoning the atrocities he's accounting for history, background, context, namely that none of this occurred in a bubble, he acknowledges what happened on the 7th was barbaric, an act of terrorism, but when you are an oppressed people, as the slaves were, when you are treated like your life is of no value, that one Christian or Jewish life is worth more than a thousand Muslim lives, you will be stripped of all humanity, you will hate your oppressors, you will do to them what they have been doing to you for decades, so don't try to suggest that you would retain your humanity in that situation because you would not, I would not! You speak of Finkelstein's intelligence, that you can comprehend that a man of such intelligence can reach such conclusions, well I fancy you consider yourself an intelligent man; as such, I cannot comprehend your inability to imagine yourself in the shoes of those Palestinians! If you were born into that environment, knew nothing else but living in that environment, you would behave exactly as they have....FACT!
Norman Finkelstein is a passionate, courageous and a fearless humanitarian and activist who has dedicated his life speaking for the rights of the Palestinians. His unwavering commitment to justice and his tireless efforts to raise awareness about the ongoing genocide in Palestine are truly inspiring. His work serves as a beacon of hope for all those who believe in freedom and justice.
Norm Finkelstein is a liberal communist Jew who hates Israel and hates other Jews, because he believes only the communists are right. WRONG! Finkelstein said the holocaust is a Jewish money making scam and the holocaust never happened. WRONG! Gaza is not a concentration camp, Norm is a guy who sits behind a desk and reads anti Israel news sources. Norm agrees with Pro Palestinians that chant, "Gas the Jews." According to the U.S. Census Bureau International Database data estimates that Gaza's Palestinian population increased from only 265,800 in 1960 to 342,700 in 1970, 431,600 in 1980, 645,100 in 1990, 1,1 million in 2000, 1.5 million in 2010, and 2.1 million in 2023 and that it will rise to 2.4 million, 2.9 million in 2040If Gaza is a concentration camp, how can the population of Gaza grow so much? Palestinians use little birth control or awareness of it. Average family size is 5.6. On the contrast, 1,1 million people, mostly Jews were sent to Auschwitz concentration camp, 99% died, unlike the Gaza population growth is increasing dramatically? So how can you compare the two? So Norm Filkenstein paints a picture that everyone in Gaza is sent to a concentration camp and is gassed to death like the Jews died in Auschwitz. The West Bank and Gaza together have 14 universities, an open university for distance learning, 18 university colleges and 20 community colleges. Did Auschwitz concentration camp have universities for Jews before they were gassed to death? Israel previously issued more than 18,000 permits allowing Gazans to cross into Israel and the Israeli-occupied West Bank to take jobs in sectors like agriculture or construction that typically carried salaries up to 10 times what a worker could earn in the blockaded Gaza Strip. many of these people in Gaza spied for Hamas and Iran which gave them the intelligence they needed to carry out the terrorist attack on October 7th in Israel. But of course the attack on October 7th was done by the JEWS, but they are all evil and all Jews LIE!
As I began watching this lengthy clip interview, I realized I saw it before but decided to watch again for some insight I may have overlooked before. I watched it to discover that as tears blur my ability to read my own words here, I found something of immense value. Why were my eyes troubling me? They were telling me something. That there is hope. As the debate closed, the fact that a conversation could exist that allowed for the suffering of others, the word humanity was being trupempeted from a frail body that breaks my heart to admit, I seldomly recognize. The courage to be a voice for the Jews of the Warsaw ghetto and the Gaza concentration camp Arabs, is just humbling. Humbling to its core. One where truth and courage share the same space. I don’t often appreciate Piers, but like Susan Boyle showed us, take the chance life gives you.

Finkelstein offered no material in this debate. Absolutely nothing. He simply justified the murder of civilians as a result of oppression. He quite literally could have said: "the burning alive of whole families who have nothing to do with the blockade of gaza is justified because these people were angry about their oppression". The average life span in Gaza is measured in decades; the average life span in say a place like Majdanek or Auschwitz concentration camp for example; was on average measured in days - in a place like Belzec death Camp it was measured in minutes; 45 to be exact. Gaza is a concentration camp? I don’t think so. I was watching some footage of the bombing in Gaza and I remember seeing a late model Mercedes crushed under some rubble; thinking, if it was mine I might have got in that and headed South and what a waste of a nice car. The only people driving a Mercedes in Majdanek and Auschwitz were the SS, certainly not the Jews. Gaza the concentration camp where you can drive a Mercedes Benz........Gaza is a concentration camp? I don't think so. I'll tell you what places like Majdanek or Auschwitz didn't have; they didn’t have tunnels constructed out of concrete in which to escape; running water ever, no food, or clothing or personal possessions; no heating or air conditioning; no privacy at all, because there were no apartments or houses in Majdanek or Auschwitz; no places of worship, no place of burial if you died from the daily gassings, bashings or torture. Gaza is a Concentration Camp? I don’t think so. No hospitals, unless they were doing medical experiments on you - they had brothels, so there was plenty of rape. Gaza is a Concentration Camp? I don’t think so. Concentration Camps don't have an elected government nor do they have a budget nor opportunities to say how the money is to be spent. Concentration camps don't have shopping malls, 4 star hotels, food courts, a zoo, theme parks jewellery markets (unless you count the Jews forced to work removing gold from teeth pulled from the mouths of the dead from the gas chamber or removing the precious stones stolen from the jewellery of the gassed Jews) high cost housing areas, a coast with beautiful beach frontage, schools, sporting facilities, etc etc. Gaza is a Concentration Camp? I don’t think so.
@@scottcleland4793 I see you replying to so many comments with this one copy pasta. I want you to think about what the term concentration camp might mean in the 21 century, where there is instant access of internet and increased globalization. There is a war in Ukraine right now, undoubtedly horrible, but many people are confused about why some Ukrainian civilians are going back to Ukraine every month to meet their relatives, get their nails down, bring new cars from Europe. Does that mean that Ukraine is okay? No, not at all, it`s in a terrible state of invasion by Russians. But in our strange world in 21 century this kind of things are commonplace. If Israel would do slavery in conc. camps as horrific as Nazis did, it would be instantly criticized by the world. It couldn't do explicitly terrible things before October 7 because it knew the world was watching. But they would do everything they could get away with, including controlling every aspect of human life in Gaza. For instance, they kept most of the citizens hungry (Starvation plus package) so that most people would be just fed enough not to die. Half of Gaza population has never experienced a feeling of a full stomach. They would not allow Gazan's to leave to another countries even when they were in urgent medical conditions. Call it a concentration camp, an occupation zone, open air prison - the state of existence in Gaza was kept purposefully blurry to avoid any responsibility in front of the international humanitarian law. But after October 7 everything changed - they were now presented with an opportunity to 'solve the Palestinian question', aka to wipe out or expel the Palestinian population once and forever. This can be evidenced by numerous genocidal claims made by the official Israeli government over the past two months.

If the world just had a number of the likes of Norman Finkelstein, we would have been waaaaaaaay better off ! Such an honest, dedicated, responsible, respectful, courageous, genuine human! I wish if Norman Finkelstein only knows how he’s been looked up to by thousands! He’s a true inspiration! May God protect Him.
Theres also an interview with Gabor Mate very honest and powerful. Yet Pierce keeps trying to condem these people who have given their lives to being honest observers of the conflict to condem Palestinian resistance. He will never get it or he's been given an agenda to follow
I have been following this professor for more than 15 years and I am a French speaking African woman living in the U.S.! So I’m surprised, when I heard some people saying that they just heard of him! I guess when you live in a cocoon nothing else matters! Coming from a colonized country, anyone going through injustices around the world is a source of interest to me!
I'm ashamed to say that I've never heard about this guy all my life till his interviews start popping up online after Oct.7th I wish him all the best in this life and after for dedicating 40 years of his only life to fact-check, document, spread the Truth about what's had been happening to the people of Palestine.
He lived and studied with Noam Chomsky when he was young! Many people in the USA learned about the plight of the Palestinian people from these two men.
He called 7th October a "slave uprising" on Michaela Pettersson show. So deluded. He cherry-picks facts to make the palestinians look good when they have been the aggressors for the most part. Gaza has had such an explosion of population growth that USA would have had 1 billion people with similar growth. Of course this leads to all kinds of problems: young people commit 90-95% of the violent crime in countries all around the world and IQ actually drops as early as the 3rd and 4th child because parents simply dont have the time. No wonder they vote and support extremists. Palestinians created their own misery. Everyone with open eyes living in Europe these days should know how arabs are anyways. In Sweden we pretty much never had gang rapes before arabs (and africans) got here. And if you understand the implications of a group crime like that, well its all you need to know tbh.
I've been following him for some years and maybe you've learned this by now, but in case you haven't, Finkelstein's paid a very high price for his advocacy. Years ago, he debated Alan Dershowitz, a noted Jewish-American lawyer and Zionist apologist, on a program called DemocracyNow! Finkelstein absolutely destroyed Dershowitz, and Dershowitz saw to it that Finkelstein was cast into the wilderness. To this day, as brilliant as he is, he can't get a secure job in academia. Seeing him rise from the ashes lately has been glorious. It's particularly gratifying for me, and hopefully for him, to see so many Jews protesting _against_ the occupation, which was unimaginable years ago. I credit him with with that broader awakening and emboldening of antizionist Jews, like myself, who themselves have been in the wilderness for so long, shouted down and shunned by fellow Jews.
norman has been a constant voice for the Palestinians for years. you should watch his older talks and interviews as well. the reason you hadn't heard of him is that he was removed from stanford and his tenure denied bc he spoke up for the palestinians and extensively wrote the truth about the israelis' crimes. the US and israel used america's favorite piece of shit criminal defender and epstein's friend, alan dershowitz, a harvard educated professor and lawyer to use his influence to essentially end his mainstream career. yet this country's establishment wants us to respect people like alan dershowitz instead of human rights championing heroes like norman. they call someone like him a "self hating jew". it's disgusting. sorry for the rant i wanted people to see the truth and how propagandized we actually are.
You mean the Jewish man who just speciously referred to gaza as a concentration camp? The only reason gazans don't have self-determination is all the billions in aid they receive goes to terrorism and not powerplants and fresh water.
Piers is out of his depth with his surface level questions when he interviews someone like finklestein. All he is fixated on is morally catching a person out to make them a “moral monster”. It’s absurd.
@@phcahaseisn't it funny, when you are Jewish, Piers isn't calling them terrorists or repeatedly going at them to condemn Hamas. Why didn't he go at this guy like he went at Tate, for example, for stating the obvious? Piers is a manipulative piece of shit, simple as that.

I too gave up on Gaza in 2010 after the Marmara flotilla raid. I totally support the Gazan struggle and I agree with Finklestein that a concentration camp is a ticking bomb; however, I don't believe what happened on the October 7 has made the life of the Gazans any better.

Is it true that in your country and Lebanon they started civil wars, they had problem with leaders of the country? That is way they don't want to they come now?I read arguments about both countries....(Palestina and Israel). For me is not good, i live in EU country and i like to read books. But why there is no also book of Norman F., somebody who is on Palestinian part of view. For me that is not good. In my eyes Israel is war criminal state and we all are watching how children and civilians suffer without water and food and die in brutal attacks from IDF.
No trickery? The guy is calling Gaza a concentration camp when the city contains hundreds of millionaires and beautiful beaches / apartment buildings. Israel gives Gazans billions in aid and provides them with work and travel permits to enter Israel. I am a grandson of a Holocaust survivor who has listened to the riveting stories of my grandmother and visited the exact places where they happened, and I also lived in Israel (near Gaza) for the past year. I can tell you that there is no equivalence between the two scenarios. Jews in the concentration camps had no military presence and were helplessly slaughtered for the the mere purpose of genocide; on the other hand, Gaza is ruled by Hamas terrorists that hide in terror tunnels below civilian areas, which forces Israel to target those civilian areas. Comparing the Jewish state’s defending itself to Germany’s genocidal world domination is absolutely nonsensical, not to mention the fact that the Jews were the people who the Nazis targeted. Can you not see how utterly disrespectful it is to compare the Jews to the people who annihilated 6 million Jews? That is not purity; it is a disgrace.

Oh god, the last part of the interview, where Mr. Finkelstein answers the last question, made my heart jump. This man is a legend, and his moral compass is extraordinary. It is always a pleasure to listen to this man, he is one of those who made me change my perspective of things.
He couldnt even condemn hamas, according to him, if you are suffering, that gives you the right to murder innocent people who had nothing to do with your suffering
Nah, he's a clown. A Jew who hates Jews and elects to defend people who've rejected peace with the Israelis for the past century. The current situation that the Palestinians of Gaza and the West Bank face is entirely the fault of their people who've chosen violence over peace for decades.
I love Norman finkelstein. I love his parents for instilling in him a sense of justice and empathy originating from the atrocities they were subjected to. My greatest sadness in the world is the way the nazi holocaust has been twisted into a poison, a bomb dropped on the palestinians and into the souls of the descendants of the holocaust, and i find myself weeping in the past month (years really) asking “did we learn nothing? Did we suffer for nothing?” Norman is a hope that is keeping my heart from shattering beyond repair.
@@agoodpitch9 thats a good pitch! A lot of people who devote their lives to things in a way that makes their lives harder are certifiably “nuts”. Maybe all of them. Thats a meaningless accusation. I didnt say i want to ask him to watch my kids for a week. Thank you Professor Norman. It marvels me how adamant Piers is even after hearing the most humane and clear explanations from all these people he's been talking to. I expect his line of questions to change, and for him to respect these intellectuals and stop name-calling and compelling them to make pronouncements that suit him and his masters.
Piers job is to bring on Pro-Palestinian voices make them condemn Hamas, call Oct 7th a terror attack, ignore all the events leading up to that date, which then leads to the next talking point "surely Hamas knew these terror attacks would spark a response like this?" for the sole purpose to blame Hamas for the 14,000+ deaths and not the IDF fighter jets and artillery indiscriminately bombing Gaza when WE all know Hamas in is tunnels underground. He isnt allowed to talk about any time before Oct 7.

Norman Finkelstein is a repulsive man, hates his people, that's my opinion. In addition, I am convinced that this man is worse than Hamas and Muslim extremists.
That's the best answer I heard in all these interviews. "I cant condemn people whom if I were to put myself in their position I wouldn't be sure of what I would do"
I absolutely adore Professor Finkelstein. Not only was named the fifth most influential political scientist in the world but he has dedicated his entire adult life to the Palestinian cause at great cost to his professional and private life, yet he would still say that he is no martyr. A complete legend
...and then he regreted it, after obviousely more readings about the trueth about the pain in the as. Palestine from right beggining against jews.
Very insightful interview but I think the people putting the Gazaians in an open prison/concentration camp are Hamas, not the Israelis. Gaza was given millions in aid which could have made the lives of the people comfortable yet Hamas spent that money building tunnels under hospitals and other civilian places etc. As it has been quoted before, if Hamas put down their weapons there would be peace if the Israelis put down their weapons there would be no more Jews.
Prof Finkelstein is an example of a sincere, erudite and exceptional scholar, a rarified human being these days. A truth seeker that emits righteous intent, courageous dedication, soulful self reflection and an intentionality that transcends the material world. We need more time with him on your show pierce!
In answer to your question, I am sure that his parents are so proud of him, because he is an honest man , full of integrity and goodness, unlike the interviewer.
Piers I am proud of you, the number one question “Do you condemn Hamas? “ happened after 9 minutes of the interview. This must be a Guinness record here! 👍
Hahahaha! In fairness Finkelstein did get ahead of the question, and kind of prompted it this time by bringing up the white abolitionist reaction to the Nat Turner slave rebellion. But Piers couldn't let him answer the question without interrupting to ask him still.
"I'm very reluctant to condemn people who are in a position that, were I to be in their position, I would not be sure what to do." The best, most rational and most appropriate response to this senseless and endless one-sided calling for condemnation.

@@alanhat5252 oh pls. He said himself he is a journalist - so going on what HE HIMSELF HAS PROCLAIMED. Also, it doesn't really help much to defend him to be an interviewer as he sucks at that too.
This lack of intellectual honesty in British society is what drives it's spokespeople like Piers to strive to erase from memory the complicity and duplicity of the British government in creating the Arab-Jewish problem in the first place. If indeed this was reduced to a body count of the victims of all the atrocities on both sides, we will find the hands of Israelis bloodier by miles, I'm sure. What has always bothered the imperialists is retaliation to their crimes, and so to place their victimhood on a pedestal is the modus operandi they employ to unleash their unjustified and disproportionate response to silence the oppressed for an eternity, they hope.

The end of the interview gave me goosebumps
Piers asked him how his parents (whose families were wiped out in the holocaust) would have reacted to October 7
He answered: “It was unthinkable that they would have a kind word to say about Germans… I accepted, that given their life experience, they had the RIGHT to hate the people who destroyed their lives. And the people of Gaza have the RIGHT to hate the people who destroyed their lives”
That's it right there. The plain truth. Who sows the wind reaps the whirlwind.

Literally denying Palestinians whole abusive existence under Israel in order to justify a psychotic religiously fanatic Israeli government in furthering what they've always done. Israel get caught red handed lying, like they have multiple times long before Oct 7th with terroristic style mentality/attacks & what does piers do?

When heard that sentence, I felt infinite sadness. If a battling soul like Finkelstein gives up, maybe he’s right, there’s no hope.
Israel with the help with western government totally kept us on the dark about the whole situation.
I'm really glad his hope was ignited again.
Ill be honest with you it brought out some tears.

Thank you Norman because you’re against the genocide

I have been following this professor for more than 15 years and I am a French speaking African woman living in the U.S.! So I’m surprised, when I heard some people saying that they just heard of him! I guess when you live in a cocoon nothing else matters! Coming from a colonized country, anyone going through injustices around the world is a source of interest to me!
I'm ashamed to say that I've never heard about this guy all my life till his interviews start popping up online after Oct.7th
I wish him all the best in this life and after for dedicating 40 years of his only life to
fact-check, document, spread the Truth about what's had been happening to the people of Palestine.
Norman Finklestein is one of tge credibke sources. See his interviews with Katie Halper. Also chk Noam Chomsky, Abby Martin, Ilan Pappè.
norman has been a constant voice for the Palestinians for years. you should watch his older talks and interviews as well.
the reason you hadn't heard of him is that he was removed from stanford and his tenure denied bc he spoke up for the palestinians and extensively wrote the truth about the israelis' crimes. the US and israel used america's favorite piece of shit criminal defender and epstein's friend, alan dershowitz, a harvard educated professor and lawyer to use his influence to essentially end his mainstream career.
yet this country's establishment wants us to respect people like alan dershowitz instead of human rights championing heroes like norman. they call someone like him a "self hating jew". it's disgusting. sorry for the rant i wanted people to see the truth and how propagandized we actually are.

@@JohnMalindretos nice one.
@@JohnMalindretoswhat about the women and children that got kidnapped and kept for years in Israeli prisons, way before 7th October? Hamas took hostages to free these poor civilians from this sickening occupation.
Finkelstein has been nothing short of a champion for truth, a voice for the oppressed, and an example of humanity.
Truth?!!! How can you say he’s speaking the truth when he blatantly lies? He says Gaza is one of the most densely populated places in the world. It’s not even close!! And I challenge anyone to prove me wrong. Gaza’s population is 16k/sq mile manhattan NY is 75k/sq mile
@@eliezermillerare you from Gaza?
@@linaba5834 no, why?
@@eliezermiller
NY have building and Skyscrapers gaza dont they being bombed
And yes gaza is one of the most dense populated area
@@eliezermiller
You are one ignorant person ,first the 21k/sq mile not 16k/sq mile is the whole gaza strip that includes everything which means even large urban areas that almost has zero people but only farms with little to no people and khan unies plus north and south part, what they are talking about is gaza city itself and not the whole gaza strip , and gaza city is one of the most densely populated areas and is much much higher than the number you have given since a 1.1 million lives in the city and around it so when you do estimate, do it for gaza city so you do justice to the number, don't just say lies while being ignorant
I'm Palestinian, and this man made me cry 😢 Palestinians today can connect in a very deep level with Holocaust survivors but the irony....!!!!!
I still despise all the pain the Israel occupation caused me and my family. I can't hate them. I hope one day love and peace will spread. But I doubt 😢
Not sure how you can compare the Holocaust to anything in history... It does a disservice...
Love & peace begins with allowing for differences and choosing nonviolent solutions. 🙏 Here's hoping enough people choose that route & raise their children for peace. It is possible - it just needs enough people.
You have no clue what the holocaust was
6 million killed in the holocaust. 60% of jews...
How does 0.5% of gazans compare, what the hell?😅
Not meaning to play down what Isreal is doing to Palestinians, but man, no way it can't be compared to the holocaust. But yes, the point is that you cant rationalize with victims, that not all Germans/Israelis are the same. Just the right/far right side is evil.
Prof. Finkelstein has the moral rigor that every teacher should have when dealing with issues related to injustices and power relations.
Why was this so short?!?! 😢
Prof. Finkelstien’s demeanor and eloquence was awe inspiring in this interview. And the fact that he touched Pier’s heart 😢
Please do a long form interview ❤❤❤
what made you say that! does Piers have a heart?
Perhaps NOT with Piers Morgan though.
Morgan has the heart of a Zionazi shill, an apologist for 75 years of terrorism, murder, rape and country theft.
The only thing that touches a heart like that is money.
