      I will just be randomly sending them out as she makes them. This was her third jar, and it is good. Next month I plan on having her make about 4 or 5 , one for me and then give the rest out. I have cooked with it 3 times and was impressed.

    Hey Papa Texas, I've got a steel hot plate that badly needs a clean.
    All the meat when I cook on it looks black.
    Will this method clean it up good, so all the family don't complain.

    Hey Papa texas, I got an outdoor gourmet griddle and I'm having problems with it rusting. Thanks for the video it help me out. But I have a question when you did the paper towel with oil on it what temp was the griddle on.

    Is this just got stainless or does this work for cast iron? I noticed a little bit of rust on my camp chef today. Do I have to strip it completely or can I do a local re-season?

      Just work on the rust spot. A wire brush should do the job. Scrub it, wash it, apply Crisco and heat it up.

      @@PAPATexas I have to say I was afraid to work on it. I tried to strip and refinish a dutch oven but it didn't work. It kept rusing as I was cleaning it. But I followed your cleaning steps and refinished the small patches and it's looking so great. Thanks for giving me the confidence to do it.

      Possibly, but it might go rancid. You would have to google it.

      @@blackhouse7646 After bacon, wipe down and if needed soap and water, not much soap. Sometimes before my cook, I clean with soap and water, rinse good, the apply a little bit of Crisco and heat griddle, wipe off excess and it is ready to cook on.

    Excellent seasoning, 🐖 is the way to go, I also use Alvacado Oil in between my bacon grease to keep nice and primed. Same goes for my cast.... Mmmmmm baaaconnnn!

    Yeah, buddy ! Gettin' it right ! Moo rub, huh ? Hate to see those bacon ends go to waste ! Maybe place a pot of purple hull or blackeyed peas on top ? Toss in a few onions, a dash of Lea and perrins.......then bake some cornbread...oh jeez....I'm making myself hungry.

      Bacon Ends And Pieces are The BOMB!!!...when it's no so much fat...lol. I know why you said what you said because of the metal and preparations and the good seasonings of that Griddle...I would also sacrifice Bacon on a piece of "Unknown" surface that I was questionable about...like Cowboy Kent Rollins...I would not waste it like him and agree....I would give it to the dogs and make their day....lol.
