I have a really big issue with what that lady sent you. I am of course all for modesty and fleeing from sexual immorality but to shame someone for getting a Brazilian wax is part of the toxic purity culture many of us (especially women) have to deal with in the church. Every part of us gets sexualized already we shouldn’t have to feel like taking care of our hair down there is sinful. Modesty will always be about intentions and if there’s no ill intentions behind it why is she bothered? Chloe do your thing you won’t regret it! It’s such a great feeling to have one less thing to keep up with constantly.

Keep doing what you're doing and don't let negative people get to you. Society over sexualize a women's body and religious folk tend do the same. Getting waxed isn't a negative thing no more than going to the gynecologist is.

My esthetician sees me more than my GYNO. We're both Christians. Since women come to her feeling vulnerable, it gives her a great opportunity to be salt and light. I'm not a prostitute or a stripper. I'm happily married to a God-loving man. I don't get my nails or hair done often, but waxing is that beauty treatment that I enjoy doing for myself. I've never had issues. I'm sorry you received such a hateful email, but remember, they hated Jesus first. All we can do is pray for them.

Just a tip for your press on nails from someone that can get hers to last two weeks without them popping off, I would do the alcohol before and after the buffing. The less dust you have on your nails the better. I make my own press ons and that’s how I apply them if I’m not using gel to apply them 💜
Dude you should email her, she doesn't read the comments but thank you so much for the advice. I love press ons and do the buffing and alcohol too and they still don't last as long as I'd like. I'm constantly gluing them back on. Gonna try this out!

Girl you do what you need to do for you …, deep down you know what you need and nobody else does. I been through listening to other people and I did it for too long I’m in my late twenties I’m just now starting to do what I need to do for me period.
The advice most definitely wasn’t toxic it was needed. The Lord always put you in my spirit at the right time and I’m so thankful for it.
