NBS Silverado Gets A NNBS Intake Manifold With Xlink And A New Transmission

Today on Proyectos Los Carnales we went out to have a takuache day and help a fallen soldier. La Carnage a 2006 Silverado got upgraded with a NNBS intake manifold and a Xlink to help run a gold NNBS throttle body. There is a significant difference in throttle body sizes which help take in more air for more power. The last piece to the puzzle is a freshly built 4l60 upgraded to handle daily runs and the occasional burn out. Fun video to make on a fun and warm day hope you enjoy!

Transmission and stall to compliment the cam and differential too. After that have fun unless you want to dig into power adders. For more hp without turbo supercharger or nitrous you can do ported/polished heads intake and throttle body it’s all up to how deep you want to go with it 👍🏽

How did u make the swap is the nnbs intake has different shape on the intake gaskets to the nbs intake

no its been running a while now and no issues we used a new oem throttle body with correct the x-link make sure you get the correct one weather it is for a gold blade or silver blade

depends if it is a drive by wire you will need an x-link and a new throttle body if it is a drive by cable you will need a aftermarket throttle body aside from that check the fuel lines if your intake has a return line you will need a corvette filter to just have one line out to the intake if it doesn't then the single line in the top will just plug into the nnbs intake

Correct, however I want to say the plates is 25ish and a 92mm is around 80 and it’ll flow better (I used an Amazon/eBay one and to this day no issues with it just use your oem sensors from the old throttle body) also make sure you get the nnbs gaskets for the manifold not the nbs gaskets
