If you could make a wish list of all the things you've ever wanted in a historic home, this home would have it ALL! Walk in and find the most exquisite staircase and landing we've seen, beautifully crafted of unpainted pine, surrounded by glorious stained glass windows.
Then, enter into the main parlor through a glorious functioning pocket door. There you'll find glorious coved ceilings and original picture rail. This room has two more functioning pocket doors that stand 8 feet tall. A back parlor leads into the dining room, and from there find a HUGE kitchen and eating space.
As beautiful as the first floor is, the backyard is a DREAM! The landscaping is glorious, and is focused around an absolutely breathtaking in ground pool. This is a "move in and enjoy" yard, just waiting for you!
Upstairs you'll find HUGE bedrooms with ample storage, a main suite with skylight, and an absolutely delightful vintage lilac bathroom.
There is also a full attic space and unfinished basement. This lovely lady has every detail that anyone who wants a Victorian home could possibly want!

What a lovely home! Also thanks Kevin for not editing out the fur baby at the end. 😊
Beautiful homes. Natchez must be a beautiful place to live.
It is!
Laine and Kevin, you never disappoint! This house is a gem. Thank you! 💚💜
Another Gem in Natchez. Beautiful home Love that HUGE kitchen. 6 burners on that stove top.
I’ve been in my home since 1999. I believe it was built in 1920s. Has long sitting room front house. Lots oak wood work in home 2 story lot’s windows and windows all around front sitting room. Picture windows both sides fancy windows above them beautiful wood work around window. Foyar pillars French doors from living room to sitting room. Swing door from kitchen to dinning room. Big window seat in dinning room. Iron board in wall kitchen. Desk in living room with cabnets. 2 story wood work on wall up the stairs. It never gets old. River rock retaining wall around front yard.💜🌈💜
I love pretty much every home you two show us, but these beauties that would also make perfect Family homes hold an extra special place for me!
Is the pinky/purple bathroom in as great shape as it looked in the video? So cute! Can't believe it has been on the market as long as it has. Such a lovely family home.
Lanie you and Kevin does excellent work on these 🏘️ houses and I loves this 🏡 house.I like the older houses better than the newer ones.thanks for showing
Beautiful house and very liveable. The kitchen cabinets are exactly the style I have in my own kitchen and they even have the same drawer/door pulls! I can do a lavender bathroom! And I have a thing for stripes, too. I think it’s the perfect house. What a fun start to my morning. Thank you, again, for showing us these gems.🌸
I love the Burn we stay there all the time ❤
This checks all the boxes!! Just beautiful!❤️
Thank you Kevin and Laine. 😊
Oh my gosh, I can't believe this beautiful home is under $500K! Where I am in CA this house would be at least a million more.
And, I LOVE the dogs!
I love the music in your presentations.
I bought my Grandmothers house in 1980 and it was in Titusville PA where they drilled the 1st oil well in the Country and it was just like this one but Granny had already started to update, that made me sad but it was built in the late oil society in the 1800's I loved that house it was huge with the windows oh I miss it
Loved the lavender bathroom, reminded me of my grandmothers house.
I would for me and my husband to own this home I've always loved Victorian homes since my childhood being a Natchez native born and raised now living in Florida and thinking about moving back to my home town on the banks of the Mississippi River love you all videos 🎉blessings
This is the perfect home for someone who loves the feel of a Victorian house, without having to dust all of intricate carved woodwork we see in the earlier styles. The prior owner's decor fits well, and shows a comfortable family home for modern people. The nook with the three laurel leaf windows is divine! Also a perfect place to park guests. I adore the laurel leaf details on the light fixture there, and in the other rooms. The kitchen is period yet functional, and I love the pediment over the sink, reminding us of the impending Neo-Classical influence. I also don't mind white painted wood in the other rooms, since they kept it natural in the foyer. With the simple, bold lines of the fireplaces, it works, especially for a home in your Southern climate. As with most houses that are intact and have housed people for decades, I'm sure there were some remodels. The eat-in area of the kitchen was likely a butler's pantry, and possibly part of a small bedroom or service porch. The tile in the purple bathroom is very close in color to the "heliotrope" wainscotting in our 'Easter Egg' bathroom from 1931. As noted below, the insane grunt to get Pearl ready, followed by stepping into Auburn AND Hope Farm would level anyone. Y'all need a vacation!!! :)
Natchez sure is beautiful!
So many wonderful old homes. I wonder what it's like to live in Natchez?
It’s wonderful!!
Love the puppy , looked like it gave a kiss.
OK, this house has everything I want in a house. Everything. Well, inadequate number of fireplaces; however, show me a pool and some stained glass and a big kitchen, and I'm in!
Gorgeous!
Gorgeous home! When I retire in a few years, I’m considering moving from VA to MS. I just love these old homes and would love to own one.
Beautiful houses. Thank you for sharing. My husband is from Raymond, not too far, and we often visited his cousin who lived in Natchez in one of those Victorian houses on the main street in town. We love that type of architecture you show in the gorgeous homes in Natchez and Arkansas.
😍 Beautiful
Thanks for another delightful tour, this is a beautiful home that flows so wonderfully, easy living here. The neighborhood is beautiful with well kept lawns and tree lined streets, who wouldn’t want to live there. Thanks again, have a great week.
I just completed the sale of my home here in BC Canada yesterday. I have enough to buy this place if America will let me in! I love this house and I love America!
Omg it’s gorgeous!!!!
Lovely. We love Natchez.
Love your dress, Lane.
The house is absolutely fabulous! I LOVE that lavender bathroom at the end! Does the cute dog come with the house? ;-) Thanks to you both for showcasing this beautiful home!
So beautiful
I love the lil doggies!!!!! ❤
OMG! The second you panned into the kitchen....I'm smitten. And you're absolutely on point about the flow.. exquisite!
That lavender bathroom is to die for. And then you get K&L for neighbors
Absolutely stunning! Thank you so much for this tour and ALL that you do to bring us along to view these beautiful houses! ❤🏡❤
Beautiful!
This was so enjoyable to watch! This home has a warm feel to it. Gently elegant. ❤ I hope some day you might come to Pennsylvania and show us a beauty like this "in my neck of the woods."
I don't like that heat but that sure is a gorgeous house on a gorgeous street.
Thank you again! This home is so lovely, I wovld love to live in Natchez, certainly would beat Chicago winters all these years. As usual Im sending much love and blessings your way. Thank you for sharing. Love your dress Laine!❤
Gorgeous! ❤
Wow! To be lounging in the pool, while gazing at that beautiful house would be a dream come true for me!!
The house is amazing! The choice of paint colors do not do it justice, I do love the vintage lavender bathroom.
That house is beautiful, but I’d buy it just for that vintage purple tiled bathroom! lol
Lane and Kevin you did it again….another home that makes me want to move!❤
I really like the kitchen and that whole area ⬛⬜. Thanks for the tour!❤️
Thank you for showing us such a lovely home!
LOVE the house, LOVE LOVE the furbaby!!!
That main bathroom tile and tub are to die for
Love the colors, actually just love the whole house.
You've found your style in those dresses. They are great on you ❤
Yes please!!!❤❤❤
Beautiful home. Not too big, not to small, just right. And I think the price is very reasonable especially with that back yard. Would also be a nice B&B. My favorite house of all you have showcased.
So pretty! Love this home but I dearly love the Lavender Bathroom! Thank you for freely sharing your knowledge with us. B~} Is the Blond Furby yours? Love to have your Coworkers modeling for us! Would love to see more of the Furby that always looks suspicious! TeeHee! B~}
No that’s the homeowners but it sure was cute.
Stunning
Great home! They were really onto something with pocket doors, rather than today’s ‘open concept’ design. Double pocket doors are so practical-especially when you have pets. I have two rabbits, and pocket doors to close off certain rooms would be GREAT! I did find that narrow staircase a little scary, though. No platform shoes allowed here, lol
Oh, you had me at reading niche. I cried, as I've always wanted one. And that kitchen! I just want to cook for the people who buy it if they'll house me!?! I loved it!
Beautiful😍
This is a very beautiful home who ever buys it should be happy it has beautiful landscaping and pool 🏊♀️ and everything a queen Ann Victorian style home should have beautiful fireplace and bayview window it gorgeous home I love all of he Victorian homes you show my favorite so far is tony Curtis house not a lot of property with it but the antique furniture throughout the house is to die for and how he renovated it to it’s own original beauty everything that had to do with the era of the building architecture inside and outside it still blows me away the awesome and of its grand splendor I still think about it a lot who ever bought that house china crystals and all wow mind blowing thank you for sharing another beautiful historical home❤😊
This is my perfect dream home. There is NOTHING I don't like about it. Sighhhh! TY Laine and Kevin!
I love this house. It looks so livable. I appreciate the very elaborate historic houses you show but I wouldn’t want to live in them. I could just move right into this one.
God, I wish I could afford this home! So gorgeous
Love the party hat on the porch roof.
Fur babies make a home look lived in and loved! Always leave them in
We will!!
Sending lv from uk Ann 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧❤️❤️❤️
I love the coved ceilings! I'm also wondering if the new owners would allow me to come and read in that little reading niche. Worth buying the house for that alone!! I also love the winding servants stairs. I could just go on and on( and have)!
Whoever buys this house must locate an original powder purple toilet to replace the white one! That bathroom is to die for!
I was sold at the purple 💜 or lavender bathroom,🛁 my dream.🥰
Beautiful! I would not want to clean the mozaic tile.
I would have to put a 'floor defining ' architectural embellishment on the exterior façade . That two story rise without makes me uncomfortable for unknown reasons . I think it is because it suggests 'balloon framing' , although I don't see the typical 'asymmetrical' type of oddities you might expect to see with balloon framing . Balloon framing was a technique that was being experimented with in exactly this time period Victorian /Tudor transitional period . It involved running all your wooden support vertically , and they tried it up to 3 floors . Depending on the design and how well thought out the supporting horizontal framing was , these buildings tended to settle some over time and 'balloon out giving them a distinctive appearance . Some have held up quite well , they just look a little lopsided .
I love all these beautiful homes, just too old to maintain now. Doesn’t mean my desires change.❤️
I love that piano playing. What’s the name of it?
⚜️ Beautiful! I wish to be able to afford! ⚜️
I have an antique chair I keep looking for the style and period. I haven’t found it on Pinterest or Google lens!
Needs some updating, but it was a great tour
Can’t believe this home is only listed for under $500K
Was there no closet in the master suite? Now there's a bathroom detailed as I would have expected with all the tiling ....
( sigh) my beautiful & beloved Natchez.💜
You look so tiny next to that magnificent staircase!
Lovely home and presentation.
Any chance you could tell the colour and manufacturer of the dining room wall paint ?
Thank you
I’m afraid we don’t have that information.
Would love to learn the history of the house. Who it was built for etc.
👀🤔PIĘKNE 👍KOCHAM DOMY W STYLU WIKTORIANSKIM, KOCHAM 👍🥰🥰🥰🙋♀️♥️🇵🇱🇵🇱🇺🇲
Throw in the dog and I’ll take it 🤠
❤❤❤
I hope to god the next home owners don’t destroy that beautiful purple bathroom even though it’s 1950s
Why deadbolts on bedroom doors? Did I see that?
I’d have to go back and look but sometimes that’s just the easiest lock to put on an old door.
So Fried Green Tomatoes
That looks like a great house. I love this channel, and all you two do. But watch out for the backward walked lady a touch creepy. 😮
It's lovely, but way too big for someone like me who has downsized.
Please dail down the music in the introduction of videos as I have to turn doown the volume & have to turn up it back up to hear you properly
Try adjusting the levels on your device- it’s balanced on our end
I know this is maybe wrong but that servant's stairway wall color is way too green! I would tone it down. It must be traditional but wouldn't a sage or more olive shade be nicer? But that is just me! Please accept my apologies if I am way wrong! 😮😊
Who is the realtor and number
Zillow listing in description
Have you taken a break from restoration and renovation?
We aren’t machines. We just finished our last project in April, and it nearly killed us. We just closed on our next project July 15, and it is massive (watch restoring hope video). It will take months of planning just to get to the beginning stages.
Thanks for the update! Sometimes the way you work, you might as well be a machine! I'll be eagerly watching the progress on Hope.
Why do we call period American houses 'Victorian'?
We don’t call all of them that. We have Colonial, Federal, Neo-classical, Victorian, Arts and Crafts etc I regard to their period of influence.
