Sharing drawing techniques over the internet is one thing, but teaching someone how to draw in-person is an entirely unique experience. In this video, I guide my video editor, Jess, through her second hyperrealistic pencil drawing. Focusing on achieving dark, impactful tones, this tutorial is ideal for individuals aiming to refine their skills in pencil drawing.

I love the way she steps back and put her hands behind (taking a student to teacher posture) when Jono shows her what she’s doing wrong and how to do it right… it’s so humbling.
Jess has the best tutor of all time👌

You could use pebeo masking pens for things like hairs or whiskers
Damn, she's killing it!!
A tool I think you would love is a VSGO lens Blower.
A great master raising masters
We must secure the realism of our portaits and a future for our white highlights.

Good day Jono, for hyper realism do you need a specific type of paper?
Hi there, I personally like to use Arches Aquarelle 300 gsm hot pressed satin grain paper. I find it works best with graphite. Hope this helps!
Thank you
What brushes do you use to apply and/or blend graphite? Do you have a list or Amazon page?
Hi Leslie! I made a video of my favourite tools this year. If you're interested, have a look at this video on my page: ua-cam.com/video/BClkAYY6plw/v-deo.htmlsi=Y3KdsE68JGB4B3Y5. Hope this helps!
I have a question what type of brushes are being use ?
No brushes
Where is part 2? I can't find it

that's how you blow up a photograph with a grid, not drawing
It was good enough for Leonardo Da Vinci. Grids on large works have been used for centuries by master artists and are just a technical step in producing a large work.
