Beat me to it. Tho this came out months ago, I'm 💯 percent positive that mostly everyone feels the same way. When the drawing looks more Godly than God's creations smh. Sheesh!
Thanks for actually literally taking your time to teach slowly. Not like others who say let me show you how to draw a three hundred hours drawing in five minutes. Thank man.
Something I’m always hesitant about is such dark tones. I was very surprised when you worked with such ease with the dark tones. That is something good I definitely have to work on! Thank you.
You should have at least 1million subs for these arts, realistic drawing isn’t easy and require an enormous amount of concentration and time, I mean, I can’t even acknowledge the anatomy of a human.
I want to thank you so much for taking the time to recommend a pencil sharpener to me, it is absolutely the best sharpener I've ever used! I learned so much watching your videos, thanks again, Dirk! Uni KH-20 hand crank wooden pencil sharpener by Mitsubishi
Thank you for showing how you do this honestly. So many artists that are doing photorealistic drawings hide the fact that they are working off of photos and making constant comparisons to the original.
Very happy to find your Channel. I read an Article that recommended your drawings, so I looked through your art works on your Website, and I instantly fell in love with your hyperrealistic drawing. Such amazing techniques! I am following a few, but You are the No, 1 in my eyes! 😍. Subscribed. 😄
I remember you from deviantart, i have seen your drawings 10 years ago. I still remember you, im glad that i find you here. One quetion: What kind of paper do you use?
so real! I cannot figure out why each time I look at a value it appears lighter than it really is. Just like in your shading above the eye, I honestly thought it was too dark, but when you darkened the lines above and under it, the contrast made the middle area the exact same value as the photo!! I just cannot see why my reading of the values is so far off! 😅😅😅 I wonder if anybody else has this problem?!?! 😅😅😅
That’s normal and everyone has that problem since we see everything in relation to the surrounding. Learning to draw means learning to see neutral and that means to tame your brain which is usually screwing up your vision.
Hi Master Dirk, you are the best !!! As drawer, as teacher. Thanks for your explanations and answers. I have also two questions: do you prepare the 'Canton Mi-teintes Touch paper' before drawing ? Can you explain in a few words how to fix some (eye)lines with a brush and water ? Isn 't there no risk of causing damage ? Greeting from Belgium. Paul.

Wow..very impressive..but I would like to understand d white shads which u made before videos... Because it's not getting affected by ur blending with black...how come???.. if it's acrilic or white pen ..n u blend pensil on it . It gets darker...ur white is looking so shiny ... Plz explain or demo that part as well if u can 🙏🙏❤️❤️
@@super-lag4218 its always a little painful watching someone do a piece of art better than ourselves but instead of beating someone down for it i realise im not at that level but i can learn to be there this keeps my jealousy in check in a more healthy way.its not impossible to draw like this the knowledge is out there all you have to do is put in the time

Beat me to it. Tho this came out months ago, I'm 💯 percent positive that mostly everyone feels the same way. When the drawing looks more Godly than God's creations smh. Sheesh!
@Fahanie yeah, no shit Sherlock. It’s a portrait, so obviously he’s referencing another image
He made his drawing more beautiful than the reference model. He gave his drawing more symmetrical and beautiful features.
At this point.. Its like he's just a photocopier..
The fact that sometimes hand art can look more beautiful and breath taking than the real scenary or view. This is the example of it.
Thanks for actually literally taking your time to teach slowly. Not like others who say let me show you how to draw a three hundred hours drawing in five minutes. Thank man.
