I bet producer Jacob Hellner rejected it for just not being interesting enough. It was probably recorded during the Herzeleid sessions, but who knows if we'll ever hear that version if it exists.
Also maybe they reworked it into Adios, though we don't know if that's a full reboot of Jeder lacht or just took some elements from it.
