You guys should add a looper to the app and have Spark Control, well, control it! That would make Spark the ultimate practice amp. I already have a Spark and was anxiously waiting to see if Spark Control would add looper functionality and was disappointed to see it didn't :(
Yes seconded a loop pedal would make this a must have accessory. With all the other things the app/amp/pedal can do its just asking for a proper loop function.
I’ll be honest, I’m a big fan of RJ…have followed his channel for awhile now to say the least. If he is putting his name behind this, that’s all I need. He knows his stuff. And he’s an awesome guitar player. I’m from the Detroit area so of course I’m a fan of RJ. But it’s his reputation of being an honest UA-cam person and his professionalism that I admire. I’m just a beginner using a Mustang LT 25, which is alot like the Spark. But I’m still going to get this and try it. And it’s RJ that really sold me on this.
Would love to have an expression pedal added to this to use for wah, volume, whammy effects. Would also love seeing a looper added. Great amp and value for the price. I always recommend them to my students.

I am most definitely placing an order for this. As to forthcoming additional functionalities, I would like a way to hook up actual foot switches to this unit. I realize the spark has a Wah pedal setting, but when you can’t control it it’s not really a Wah pedal is it? Additionally I’d like the ability to use a real loop pedal. This would greatly enhance the spark amps usefulness. I have three other amps that I can run my entire pedalboard through but the Spark is the one that I like to use for practice purposes and I lose the functionality of my pedalboard. Perhaps positive grid could design a single wireless switch that has an input in the back for pedals, that could communicate wirelessly with either the Spark or the Spark control.

Why the foot switch doesn’t connect with amp without the app??? I bought the spark go and the foot switch for playing in gigs, and it doesn’t make any sense that the app should be working in all time… Please do something about it
Is there a workaround on the lag in between switching presets with the footswitch? And also is there a way to use the footswitch without having to use the app...???
I would like to have had a 5th master foot switch to change between the modes, like preset mode and stomp mode. Then you would be able to control 4 amps and 4 effects (off or on). You would have 16 options on the fly in stead of 4 now. Maybe this would be programmable by tapping a foot switch twice. Tapping foot switch 1 for preset mode, foot switch 2 for stomp mode and foot switch 3 for playback mode. I also miss the looper function. Keep those updates coming and good luck!
That was my first thought, having a master foot switch. I really liked your idea of double tapping the switch so it changes modes. I hope they see our comment. I’ll also send this request to their support.
Any chance of a foot rocker type wah controller. Its the thing I miss most on these amps since there isn't an insert system, and I'd rather a wah pedal be at the end of the control chain rather than the start

Ordered mine. Can't wait to get it. I'd like to see the ability to use the pedal to cycle through the different banks, ie like , Rock, Metal, Acoustic, Pop, Blues... And then use another button on the pedal to scroll through the presets in each bank. That way, I wouldn't need to touch my phone to scroll through the banks and I could access Evey preset I have, not just the 4 hardware ones. Please add this ability.
Would be cool to be able to link two of these together, so you can use one to do things like control music and change preset banks for different songs, and then use the other in stompbox mode
This is a good addition to the Spark. I have one. I don't use it much because I was hoping for an outlet to plug into my pa board, but it doesn't have one. The FIRST THING I have noticed about this pedal is that it is very light and while you were using it, it kept kicking around sideways a bit. A heavier pedal won't do that. Does this mean the user will have to mount it to a pedal board or just deal with this issue?
I'm really enjoying this amp at home, I wish it had a spring reverb, that's what I miss the most...and the fact that you can't put some pedals like the univibe before the amp. That new eq is a great add. Anyway if you make a bigger version for playing live I'll surely buy it

I hope it switches "faster" than the BT-4 (I have one). It was really annoying that it changes the preset/feature when the switch is released and not when pressed. I had to stop using it as I was not able to get used to that 😅 (a disto pedal activates when pressed, then just want the same!) I was a severe user (since JamUp) beta tester of pedal and fx, etc. I was a bit disappointed with the BT-4 tbh, I guess it was a starting point for all the sparks products.

I really want this usable without having to use the app (particularly gigging, where you want to remove as many factors going wrong as possible).

Played through the Spark a few times - a bit bass heavy (it is also a bass amp after all) but brilliant fun, and when I saw that battery powered option, with this too, what's not to like?
Please incorporate Banks. For example bank A has 4 presets A1, A2, A3 and A4. That way you can have related tones. For example: bank A is guns & roses tones ( A1 is clean, A2 is rhythm, A3 is Solos, A4 is Solos + Wah), bank B is Metallica tones, bank C is Pink Floyd tones, etc. Thanks.
I want shorter length REWINDS when playing UA-cam or music tracks. Especially when trying to learn quitar parts I want the option of 3sec,5sec,or 10sec. Currently you only offer 10sec which is a bit too long. Thanks!
Can we choose presets that are different from the 4 hardware ones? I have countless presets saved, and I like to be able to choose those presets using the foot switches. But it seems that Spark Control can only change the hardware presets (four presets). I just noticed it now, and I think it's too late to return it. They had a great opportunity of delivering a really nice product, but they just released a useless one.

The most important thing that is missing is a looper!! Spark is the best practice amp available, but a looper is a must for practice.

Also the Spark usb has the ability, to set up control of changes via midi during record and playback. Why has this not been enabled yet?
