Idk if you’re going to read this but you’re narration skills are sublime. I thoroughly enjoy listening to you tell a story.. hopefully soon you will get all the recognition you deserve.. thank you for putting out such fantastic content.
@@Seergun The closest it comes in-game is a Shiekah Stone that tells you "Some say that the owl Kaepora Gaebora is the re-incarnation of an ancient Sage".
there's a solid theory out there (Wiz & Gossip Geist) that claims he isn't. Instead, spoiler: he is the King of Hyrule, who also shows up in Windwaker later on. Also, Link's father, btw.
"... Shielded from certain *demise* by their goddess..." LOVE the little not so hidden reference there ;) nice touch! Also, very well told lore of my absolute favorite! Love hearing about the chosen one, LNIK! ;)
Ive always loved Zelda, but never had the chance to properly play many of the games, so this is an awesome way to experience them!! I love your storytelling
This channel feels like all of us gathered beside the fireplace, cross legged, snug in blankets with soup and snacks, raining or snowing outside, listening to the Lady of Lore, storyteller of Hyrule 🙏
12:00 it's actually not a lost cause, there were two curses on the forest, the temple and the spider. I think just like as an adult the temple one stops the growth of a new Deku tree, the spider would have damaged the sprout if it hadn't been dealt with or the spiders might have taken over the whole forest and wiped out the kokiri!
After the Hyrule Historia confirmed some fan theories, I like to think Ocarina Link has his own Trilogy of games. You play as him in Ocarina, travel through time and create the Zelda timeline split as a result of saving the future. Link then goes on a journey to search for his lost friend, and experiences the meta events of Majora's Mask as a result. He then appears as a regretful spirit in Twilight Princess, and helps the new Hero by passing on his skills. He has such an interesting arc, and is easily the most interesting Link. So many people want to know how he died.
I never thought that Legend of Zelda needed a sassy lore narrator until I watched your vids. I hope you and everyone you work with on this get all the success you deserve from this type of lore reading.
Spectacular work! It is so comforting to hear such a familiar story told with all the pieces of the established lore as we have it nowadays, with a lot of great nods to future and past titles and your use of language makes a good story into a great one. The only thing that I am surprised wasn't mentioned was the dying guard. The dying guard in the back alley is one of the more powerful subtle moments of Ocarina of Time and gives real weight to the destruction that Ganondorf represents. I'll have to watch the second part tomorrow.
I had to pause this 2 minutes in to comment cuz my goodness..your writing of the story paired with your voice in the narration is absolutely incredible. Soothing yet informative, I feel like I’m watching a real deal historical video back in school or something! Looking forward to explore your channel more!! *unpause*
I've spent the last five days on a binge of your channel and it's been a marvelous time! I love games, but I have the unfortunate issue called real life responsibilities and so I don't have the time to git gud enough to play many, and thus, I miss out on their stories. Your storytelling is amazing and you managed to get me invested in all of the lore to the games that you've made videos about (even the horror games that would otherwise be my nightmare fuel). I'll be looking forward to all of your future videos! You've done an amazing job!

You just got a new subscriber! I just discovered you today, and I must say that this is one of the most wonderful retellings of OoT I've ever enjoyed. I'm sure part two will be just as captivating with your skillful talent unfolding this legend's conclusion.
This video brought back so many memories and rlly gave me a new appreciation for the game. Such a timeless, fun, story that leaves an impression on you, regardless of age. The music, symbolism, story, sense of adventure, difficulty, and gameplay all work together to create something that will never be replicated. This game played a MAJOR part in the developing of who I am as a person. Love this game and love this video. Thank you for this ! :))))
Okay, as a lifelong fan of this game, you are doing an _amazing_ job not only describing all the pieces of the lore I've always found criminally underutilized in the actual game, but foreshadowing it and beyond _beautifully._ But as a stickler for the details, I do just have to point out that Anju does not get her name until Majora's Mask. In Ocarina of Time, she is only known as Cucco Lady.
I've barely started playing the Zelda games on my dinosaur of a Wii, but I can't get enough of the lore. Thank you so much for your videos, they are just incredible 🤗

This is really good stuff looking forward to watching the rest of the series immediately. I was 30 mins in and finally noticed you named him "Lnik" Needless to say i spat my drink out 🤣

I just want to say this video was perfectly made.. this is exactly what I was looking for.. the narrating was so good and entertaining. Ive been so into Zelda lore lately and this delivered with flying colors. thank you 😊
Absolutely fantastic reading, I also love how you insert your own feelings about the dungeons such as the Zora one in chapter 3, with like a slight veil of still trying to be the loremaster
I wanted to say I love the amazing work you did here in every aspect, its beautiful and full of love! I would save Sheik's revelation for when it occurs later in game though, it was a great plot twist moment when I first played the game

Depending on your outlook that could be close to true. Whoever built the stone tower temple was very against the goddesses and their icon. And seeing what became of OOT link after their use for him was over, I can’t say I blame them. The goddesses are spoken of in positive light but it could very well be biased. Perhaps the key to breaking the cycle is to dispose of hyrule’s gods.
