Well issue at hand raised. Rukimini and team must have also covered private and govt banks and Rbi also. Bravo. A, matter worthy of news.
I don't know why it is not accepted in some parts of India. But 10 Rs coin are accepted in Tamil Nadu and I have never faced any issue regarding 10Rs coin. I think its time for the Govt to give a clarity to the public that 10Rs coin is legal and should be accepted.
Currently I'm in tamilnadu and they accepting it even in train, bus, auto, everyone including street vendors accepting it, whereas in our Bengaluru they not accepting it !
Nobody accepts 10rs coin in coimbatore only in Chennai they accept
Accepted in West Bengal too
Yeah in Chennai they accept it
It IS accepted in most restaurants in Bangalore also. I personally have seen quite a lot of darshinis displaying boards that they do accept ₹10 coins. Y all this confusion, I really don’t understand….
I can’t believe the auto driver put the meter 😂 Bangalore
Camera....
Only because she was from media.
I guess they don't put meter for northies
It would been a great help if the reporter have gone to one or two banks. What will be the experience in bank? How they may respond if it is a rumor?
once they know she is a reporter they surely would have accepted it, should do this type of reporting undercover to get the true picture
This type of reporting would force them to accept
I just love Deccan herald for these type of videos in Bangalore
Good reporting and content. Thank you
Usually i don't see this kind of ground reporting, but you are doing a great job at it. Good job appreciate your effort to reach out to people and get the ground report.
Even most of the BMTC bus conductors don't accept 10 Rs, forget about shopkeepers
In Kerala everybody accept 10 rupees coin
Correct 👍
Great Reporting!
It could be that when RBI needed to act swiftly on these rumours it didn't, and when it did these notifications and announcement were in Hindi and english so it didn't reach the common people.
The coin works in other states, Maharashtra, Kerala, even in Karnataka I had no problem in Mangalore. Please calm down on your language politics, you are a separatist who doesn't read enough.
Finally someone addressed this issue.
10 rs coins are widely accepted in Mumbai with no problem.
Whenever I come to Karnataka, I have this annoyance of "10 rs nedyalla" 🧐
in west Bengal small 1rupee coin is also not accepted except kolkata
yeah ... recently found out that
In my district up as well same things, People won't accept citing its fake
10 rupees coin (with 10 written in centre) and
new small 1 rupees
Can you please make a Part 2 of this video ? Visit some Public and Private banks, Let's see their reaction. It will be a confidence booster for the Public, if even the Banks accept the same. (Would be wonderful, if POV is of a Normal Person and not a person representing a News Organization).
Great Job with the current video!
We have same problem in Haryana 😂😂😂
This Lady Reporter must Have Visited Private Banks And State Bank of India, instead of pushing Her Mike into Vegetables And Fruits Sellers!, That Fish Seller was not understanding Her Query as well!,
It was there for a while when it got introduced in Thamizh Naadu, after that nobody rejects it. Every single person accepts it. Surprised, why our bordering city works this way! 🤔
The point is how to fix this ..?
Good content and apt ground reporting!!!
+1 to this, enjoying the new vision of content
That Guy unintentionally disclosed why...they don't accept it because it's accepted in North India...
Even in Hyderabad almost evrywhere i went don't accept 10rs coin.
Please reach a conclusion as well. You could have gone to a public sector union bank as well, that would've given the viewers some confidence. If possible, try getting on camera a branch manager of one of the PSU banks talking about the same issue.
When I moved to Banglore, this came as a shock to me. I asked few people and nobody could give me a reason.
In Goa also I've faced a similar situation in some shops. Mostly supermarkets n bigger outlets accept it tho.
okay why can't you to go a few banks and try and give them the coin ask them to accept it.
4:06 avr maneg kalisri ivrnella, yen thikka ganchali nodi
Great reporting
Just a rumour started by someone and now no one accepts it anymore.
Exactly just because of one rumour no one is accepting
Well this is why I like Mumbai, coins are never a problem here. I was even able to use soiled notes, and no auto overcharges(my experience).
Bengaluru sometimes acts very weird.
you must visit the bank over this issue will they accept it or not?
Bank of Baroda refusing is a big issue.
Good reporting n real obstacle to be resolved by the govt. People are not clear on this..
Not only 10rs coin, 20rs coin are also not accepted these days 😢
wtf 20rs coin exits
People are not accepting. I have encountered many times and 10rupee coins keep collecting in my wallet. What I do is keep 10 rupee coins for giving tips to hotel server and watchman. Only they accept because we give it free. People are not aware that is a punishable offence of not accepting.
Hamare parbhi district Mai bhi accept nahi krte 10 ka sikka PTA nahi kyu
Great coverage. No bs. She'll probably go places 💯
DH is really doing Good Work Keep it Up ...................
You tried the ten rupee coin in different places and response is mixed ..but why you have not tried in any or few banks across those areas and the banking staff response may be interesting if videoed...
Should have checked in the bank, after the stationary guy said bank of baroda did not accept those coins.
Good effort. You should had also tried depositing a few coins in the banks, just to register their reasons for dismissal
People only ban the 10rupees coin 😊.
it's WhatsApp-based mass psychosis
Maybe, if some sensible and kind-hearted shopkeepers have made enough profit, they may accept it once or twice, and then refuse it. Who knows?
DECCAN HERALD - a dare challenge. Go to SBI different branches atleast 5-6 and take the reactions and post the video.
RJ has the same problem.
It will be good to include the views of a bank in the issue. After all, they are the one's having some knowledge about the problem.
The coin will hold its value longer better than the paper note. Yet people don’t accept legal tender. This is fascinating!!
A very good initiative...By and large, no one accepts it...
Good subject😊
The coins are perfectly acceptable in Mumbai and Pune. There were rumours earlier but quickly died out
Reporter presented very well
Bank kiske hai. Jo deny kyo karte.
In Hyderabad also this problem exists.
Its because of the bank. The govt should take actions agains the banks. And govt also should also provide clear info about the 10 rs coin.
I am from Kerala. But i have experienced this situation in Chennai and Bangaluru.
Make it a criminal offense not to accept.its a threat
Kerala has no problem with these coins and is very common in Kerala. I recently got a 20 Rs coin from the bus.
only in Bangalore
Yeah it is a legal tender hut not acceptable, Govt should intervene
What about 20rs coin
You could have tried it at the bank
You missed important place to visit BANKS!!!!!
Even in tamilnadu
*Pay to dmart & metro train acceptable*
0 issues in Maharashtra.....10rs coin still accepted here
Be a better investigating reporter and find the reason. It could be the metro that triggered this all.
Most of the people saying that banks are also not accepting the 10 rs coin .why don't make second video by exchanging or depositing the coins on different public and private banks , do it like normal public because if u go with camera and they will know that you are media and doing investigation ,Actual truth will comes out which gives more clarity to the public .
Fake coins, Fake Note, too much....Go UPI 👍
Even in Andhra we face the same issue
This is absolutely silly in bangalore such misinformation we need to get it back in circulation Bombay has no problem then y this issue in bangalore
Girl with Mic and Logo of one of big Media House on the mic, and a camera person following them.
Hmmm...
I wonder why people in shops/metro/bus suddenly started not just accepting coins but provide a story along with it.
something I can't put my finger on.
Not only in Bangalore even in Chennai no one takes it.. it's a curse if someone gives and takes 10rs coin... Sometimes they scold us for giving 10rs coin... Even a larger private bank ICICI says they don't accept it.. i don't understand the reason for bank to reject it.
Public TV is the main culprit 😂
Its not accepted even in public toilets in bangalore
10 rs coins are valid in Tamilnadu, tirunelveli district, that's why tamilians are good in business, trade, bangalore city is rich but they don't know how to sell products same applies to auto fellows they don't know business, they know only to loot, bakery items and tea are tasteless
5:55 he was shit scared like it was a bomb looking at the mic
ek aur koshish to make opposition even weaker, bara bar election ke pehle hi kiya
This is what'll happen if the population loses their trust in their bank notes and coins.
man banglore is full of blunders man, bruhhh
What's app University wins 😂
Leave alone Bangalore.
Just make a video on fate of three wheeler rikshawala 's after the implementation of free bus ride for female commuters across the state
Next ₹75 coin
Bengaluru is the most backward city then.
Plz send me all the Rs.10.00 coins
Upi is the best😂
Digital India 😂😂😂
