    Pay back for all those years of watching small blocks replacing rb's, jz's, and 20b's in japanese cars!!! Revenge feels sweet!

    I still like this car. Camaros originally came with six cylinders. The 2JZ is one of the most prolific sixes ever buit. It's a great combo IMO and one that hasn't been done before.

    Now I'm a Chevy man and LS fan through and through and normally wouldn't approve of anything but a Chevy engine under the hood of this, but this is just plain sick! LOVE the 2JZ!

    So. Lemme get this straight. It's okay for someone to take a Japanese car, plop an American motor into it, but it's not okay to take an American car and plop a Japanese motor into it? I'm all for muscle cars and all, but seriously the American muscle community are so easily butthurt.
    So what? You wanted this guy to make an LS swap? Just like everyone else? Because people are too afraid to be unique. This is different. And regardless of what all the muscle car purest say, this car gets my respect. I hope to see Matt Farrah review this car on the next season on Tuned on the *#Drive* channel.

      Hell yea man. I've seen so many LS and 5.0s swapped into rx7s, e30s and when that happens, its a cool swap. When you chuck a 2jz, rb26 or any other Non-American motor into an American car people bitch and whine about it. Face it, America isn't the only country that made good cars and engines. Quite conversely, until things really picked up recently American cars were pathetic for 20 odd years because of shitty management. Every country makes good cars at some point and there are people out there who are creative enough to make their ideas come true, so keep the hypocritical comments to yourself.

    • @Ybblpp
      @Ybblpp 9 років тому +8

      Lol np. I'm not the one to hold a strong opinion because I've only driven an R32 GTR once and not even on the track. My impression then was that the engine is very good. Not sure people would be so hyped about the Skyline GTRs if the engine was a piece of crap. After all its the engine that went undefeated in JTCC from 1990 to 1993 except for Round 3 in 1993, and dominated Group A. LSX and 2JZ are good engines but there are a lot of other awesome swap worthy ones too.

      Are you kidding there's tons of muscle guys on here (like myself with an LS swapped camaro) that couldn't care less.....it's a nice setup but it's always the 240sx, s2000, Evo, civic, and import guys talking crap about people putting LS swaps in their cars.... And now the opposite finally happens and we're the butthurt ones? Different strokes for different folks jackass

      Jaron Waters First of all get a life dude. I never was asleep. But for you to believe that then your the one who is asleep. 2nd you talk big game for a person who stays on the same path all there life if its not much of it left. If you don't like what I said nor like the video the stay off the channel, cry to the others people who cried too, and GET A LIFE! People like you judge too much to accept real life and will always be in a little box.

      I'm a mechanical engineer who restores classic cars on the side and I'm currently swapping a 2jz into a 1987 toyota pickup. Take your rc car toys and riced up shit and you can exit the grown men table.

      And I will while you take your life into a classic that you will forever be able to have fun with. Man your such a cry baby. You gotta be at least mid 60's early 70's to be a piss ant about what others decided to do with there rides. If the whole world listen to you, we will already be dead. And being that your arguing about this amazing build this guy did proves you want one just the same. So quit crying, do the damn car for crisis sake, add your turbo, and shut up.

    As a guy who has built several turbo LS engines and LOVES them I respect this build 110% for it's professional quality and incredible performance. I chose a 2JZGTE for my 71' Plymouth because the Slant 6 was tired and I didn't want a 5.7 Hemi or a GM V8 underhood. I think I'll drive my Plymouth to Texas to EVS for more speed parts once it's running! Good job kid, your car ROCKS! BTW, Mark Stielow is a friend of mine and he'd say it rocks as well!

    Exactly. I wasn't a big fan of the new SS until i rode in my buddies. 2011, intake, tune, full exhaust with headers, and a 75 shot sitting on drag radials and front runners. It's a fuuuun car, and pretty quick for the little amount done to it. The ZL-1 is going to be pretty gnarly.
