It all comes back to this. Every Chitauri, corrupt S.H.I.E.L.D. soldier, to Thanos himself. It all comes back to this moment with a man who doesn't like bullies and refuses to stop standing up.
That's why I like Captain America. His sheer willpower compels him to stand up to anyone he sees as a bully, be it a random punk on the streets, to a Nazi Supervillain, to an alien army, to a robot army, to even his former friend, to even a titanic being bent on wiping out half of all life in the universe.

Movie intro: “The price of freedom is never too high.”
Cap’s speech in Winter Soldier: “The price of freedom is high, but it’s the price I’m willing to pay. If I am the only one then so be it, but I’m willing to bet that I’m not. ”
I don’t think this is just a coincidence.... Marvel is really good at foreshadowing.
It's not foreshadowing it's just something they referenced later on. Doesn't require foresight from writers.
Exactly why I was on his side in civil war it’s not an easy decision when your friends are Against you but Cap did what he knew in his heart to be right. I know tony did as well but I feel like Tony’s judgement was clouded and Cap actually had a legitimate reason for not standing with the government. Heck I wouldn’t trust the very people who allowed the nazis to come in either.
@@Libertyfirst1776 Atleast there's someone who understands it. Most of them are too blind to see the truth.

What happens if Bucky's brainwashing is "reactivated" somehow? Hell, look at what happened in Wandavision. What's preventing it from happening again?

That was the best change they did in the MCU. Instead of making Bucky like he was in the 1940’s comics ( basically he was a kid sidekick like Dick Grayson ), they made more of a best friend or brother to Steve Rogers. I love Bucky’s & Steve’s friendship.
There's a lot of thing I like in the MCU better than in the comics. This is one of them.
@@poochyenajones1362 It wasn't a whole "change" per se. In the comics, Steve's childhood friend who protected him from bullies is called Arnie Roth. This movie just fused him and Bucky together to save screentime and add emotional depth

Bucky protected Steve when he did not even know why Steve was getting beaten up. Maybe he came to know later .
Steve knew Bucky was not guilty when he killed Tony's parents because hydra had control of his mind. He protected Bucky and also prevented Tony from taking the law into his own hands.
In Endgame he didn't answer Tony because he knew that Tony was right too .
That is what makes a great leader , to be able to address teammates differently according to their emotional states.

Damn 2.5K likes you're all awesome
Also for those saying Cap died in that punch, well in Endgame Cap takes several beatings from Thanos even taking a similar punch in the face and yes he got KO'd but he got back up because he can do this ALL DAY, plus he was the last man standing against Thanos and was still ready to fight Thanos and his army even when Thor and Ironman were out. Cap just has the will and the drive to keep going, heck even in the comics Cap stands his ground against Thanos(more powerful than the MCU version) and tells him that
"As long as one man stands against you, you'll never be able to claim victory."
and when Thanos tells him those are noble words from the one that's about to die like the true baddass Cap is he responds with they're well worth dying for and literally goes against Thanos
Ya'll that disagree with me gotta understand that this is who Steve is, serum or not he'll do what's right and stand against you no matter how powerful you are because he is a hero and he can do this ALL DAY.

@@zayray4283 He didn't know that. Cap wasn't planning on allowing the snap to happen and then later undoing it. He failed in his goal due to his idealism, plain and simple. Time travel asspulls don't change that.
Predawn Precipitation I can’t believe I have to explain this to you like your 5.
Vision had the mind stone and it was imperative that Thanos not get the stone. Thanks to Wakanda’s advanced Tech they could save vision and remove the mind stone WITHOUT killing him then proceeded to destroy the stone not a moment after its removal. Bruce seconded this decision as well as Natasha.
The plan went array cause 1. It had to in order for the Avengers to win in the end and 2. Doctor strange and the team on titan lost resulting Thanos having the Time stone which completely negates the plan to blow up the mind stone since he can now rewind time.
They lost cause they had too not because it was a bad plan. Dr strange literally says that this was the only way they win. All the heroes in the movie refused to sacrifice others to stop the mad titan. All except Dr strange that is.
@@zayray4283 If they had killed vision and destroyed the stone immediately it would have taken Thanos much more time to figure out what time to rewind and WHERE to rewind it. Thor had essentially defeated Thanos before the snap, and would have likely won in a prolonged fight if Thanos didn't have all 6 stones. When Strange says "it's the only way," that is only accounting for things he is able to influence, not all possibilities resulting from all possible decisions every character could have made.

Of the entire MCU, this scene is the purest example of what Captain America is. Standing up for what's right and refusing to give up. You don't need a fancy super soldier serum to be like Cap. You just need to be a decent person and stand up.
