@@jermainesimpson834 i know it's not old but it's around the age where most peoples appearance starts to change a little bit and you realise you're starting to lose your youthful look
@@jermainesimpson834 Same. Even at 36 now everyone still thinks I’m in my 20s. As my job recently found out “what?? you look so freakishly young. I thought you were atleast 25”. Interesting. It isn't fun but I feel like 36 (your age) seems to be a normal age for it. It's genetic and can happen anywhere from early 20s to late 50s depending on you. So 36 is right in the middle... I am noticing like thirty gray hairs in my beard now at 37. I have been stressed for 22 years every day due to a chronic illness though, and I eat a bunch of sugar due to stress, so I am not surprised that I get gray now too. Stress stress stress. I guess I'll just embrace it.
I’m 32 and my hair is basically black and I also have a very strong beard. My beard is very weird in the sense that I have some brownish, reddish, and even blonde hairs on my beard. My beard is also starting to grey on my chin area. To be honest I can’t say I hate it. It kinda makes me look a bit more mature because my body hasn’t changed much since I was in my 20s. I’d be more upset about loosing my hair than having grey hairs.
I'm convinced that hand rubbing can cause the colour to wear out as, going for my barber's cut recently, the hair was significantly whiter in the patches that I normally run my hands through, i.e. the right side and side angle of my neck on the right side, compared to the other side. Similarly, my beard appears to be growing whiter in the areas where it sometimes itches and I touch it more often than the rest (lower chin) and the moustache and other parts remain black/brown. People dismiss this idea as a possibility or theory, but I'm sure there's something in the hair colour or nutrients being rubbed out or worn out through excessive contact or the oils of a person's fingers affecting hair colour, especially through repeated, daily contact (either through stress, or irritation or a combination of all factors listed here (non-smoker, however).
Very interesting! I'll have to look more into that and potentially do a video on it. I'm curious what the studies out there say on it but it sounds like a possibility! Thanks for watching and bringing that to our attention!
