  • Cleaning and filleting fish should be fun and enjoyable and with this sit up it is. This table was made with reclaimed materials and is 42" wide × 32" deep and 36" tall (If your over 6' tall might want taller legs) with a corian countertop cutting board screwed to the table top. You will need access to water and 110 outlet if you use an electric filet knife. The rack is for hanging fish to photo or skinning catfish if you don't filet them. Nice clean up station. The only addition I would have is a shelf for the 50:1 gas mixture for the chainsaw I have to use on the larger fish. ALso the table would be almost 9 foot long for the giant Tuna. The last one I caught was 79 inches and we had to throw that one back cause the boat already had its limit for the week and the only other boat out due to rough weather also had it’s limit for the week. We were just fishing for fun. The boat was The Invader, a 38/ft Rybovitch owned by Don Slater out of Point Judith, Rhode Island. Don was Rhode Tuna Island champion a couple of times. Most of this story is partial BS, we’ll let you figure out which part.
A clue...Tuna at the dock were bought by Japanese buyers and put in a refrigerated “coffin” and flown to Japan. The were paying about $14 a pound. The catch for The Invader belonged to the boat and Don said The Invader had put his kids through college. How about that?
    Nice video.

The height of the table will vary with the height of the person cleaning the fish. I myself prefer a 42" table height because 36" makes my back hurt. Just a suggestion that might help others.
