Lowriders, hoppers, hot rods, rat rods, whatever, they aren't just cars they are someone's vision and that makes them artwork. Diversity is what makes it awesome.
Big Steve, that shot through the radiator shell was like looking through a window! Great shot! Mike , great to see you working on my favorite build.I iove the tombstone shaped radiator shell.I cut up and shrank a 37 ford split rear widow from watching you do it for my 31 Ford 4 door sedan to extended cab pickup conversion. Thanks for the education young man. 👍
Thank you Mike for the great content. Thank you Big Steve for the great videos. My wife says steel cars. I do to. We enjoy drinking our coffee and watching the show. Keep up the great work. Bruce and Lynn Williams Hersey Michigan
Really admire and respect your work ethic. Nobody slows you down. You're on the move always and parts get cut welded assembled and done and done perfectly. Not many fellows are talented nuf to keep a pace of work and talk laugh and enjoy what you're doing. You really stand out. I enjoy your work and video.
It’s so refreshing to see a professional at work someone who what there doing and putting bad ass tail draggers on the road!! You are a master of your trade Mike from start to finish and you you crack me! You make my Sundays and Steve your filming and editing is awesome keep up the the good work!!😎
I have been hanging to watch you do the packard, love your work Mike, thus reminds me of my 36 olds Aussie coupe I had to make nearly everything they only made a couple of hundred full of wood and rust so I laughed when I heard your last comment before the end of the episode 🤣 it sits on a poncho chassis it’s got Cadillac rear window to give it a chopped look but it’s stock window height Mid 30’s fat fenders the bomb 👍👍
Hey Mike, I like all cars but can’t deny the low riders are the coolest! Love the grill on that Packard, going to be sweet man! Thanks for the video Big Steve! Have a great weekend guys!
There is three types or car people. Car lookers, Car buyers and then my class car builders. When you are a car builder you see cars in a whole different way then the others. The key I would say to new car people is be YOURSELF. Get what you like and make it the way you like. The less you care about what others think the happier you will be in life.... No mater what you do there will always be that one guy that says oh you should do this or that. That is his way not yours. I am a magnet for them people and the more your ride stands out the more of them type will come and don't forget to laugh to yourself when a guy that comes up to you and says my friends brothers sisters uncles nephew has this or that lol. Great work like always....
There are a lot of gait keepers , those guys kill the car hobby. Gait keepers try to tell you what is or isn't a hotrod , custom, lowrider ... etc. screw those guys. If I listened to those guys (in my case Mercedes purists) I would have never started my project , and you can't tell me an old car with a v8 and manual transmission swap isn't a hotrod. I'll get hate from the truck community for lowering and converting my OBS chevy to a short bed too.
Hey hey hey mike and steve lokochonnnn. No plastic on my 37 gmc. The only plastic on that truck is the distrubuter and the wiringloom. I like all kind of cars an ages. I owned more than 300 cars of all kinds. Mostly europe cars. But there whas one thing it needed to be. SLAMMED😂😂. We had a carshop in the netherlands so all crappie cars i or my brother got them. Repaired them and drove the shit out of it. That's the way i lurned welding and sheat metall work. Mostly sold them or wrecked them😂. I own a 37 gmc bagged but still a mega project. A 61 c10. Waiting to get on the street and getting bagged. A 74 bagged bug standart and my girl has got an 82 vw type 25 slammed single cab. See you next week lokochon. And steve your filming and cliseups are very cool. Yej yej yej. Peace ✌️🤙
4:56 What's up big Steve.? Hello Mike... Just dropping by to say hello to my fav utube station Very cold here for few days Here in Canada 🇨🇦 Take care guys. Frank
Plastic is fantastic, but steel is real, homme!! Thanks Mike! I always liked the Packard cars of the ‘30’s , even better after Bello’s Kustoms has gone over it! Nothing but perfection!
I like steel body's I have a 72 C/10 , 86 Mercedes 190 E and a 65 mustang I acquired for my wife Old school and love the videos good work big Steve and magic Mike Bello's ❤
Thanks for another great video. It doesn't show how good Mike's welds look but seeing them in person it looks like dimes. LS engines are cool because they are reliable, easy to mount, and aftermarket parts like stand alone harnesses are cheap. Keep up the great work
Never worked on low riders or hot rods have done some mechanic work on cars and 18 wheelers but I find it fascinating in what you do the creativity is just hands-down. I watch it every Sunday I find it interesting your plasma cutter where you create plates and it cuts them out that is cool to see.
HI Professor Bellos! I do like having the chrome trim attached with sticky tape, when I was doing cars, always rust was starting under the trim and causing much more work to paint it. Rich 😁
Great content and video Steve. Mike, as always it’s good to get your insight and opinion from a true professional perspective, keep up the amazing work and content.
. . If it was easy, everyone would be doing it. Doing it even though it's difficult is why you rock. You're an Artist, your medium is metal and you teach your art. . . 👊😎
I'm starting a build on a '37 Plymouth P4 this summer and slow sucks but I'm hoping to keep the original motor and three speed, but if I didn't I would do an old school v8, never LS for me, like to be a little different. All metal for me too, no plastic, love you channel
Sir...Greetings from Canada...you are an artist,a craftsman and a visionary, take car and make a change here and there and all are improvement, incredible, love it all!!
I really like the old cars and trucks, very little plastic maybe some dash knobs. The old stuff is so repairable for the for the guy with limited resources. Thank you Mike for your great videos.
Hey Mike, those long 3/8ths extensions on your impact driver can absorb a lot of energy and diminish the torque that you could use to break those bolts free. They are pretty springy. At least use a 3/8th to 1/2 " adapter at the impact driver and use a shorter 1/2" drive extension and socket. It will help break them loose. Thanks for all of the lessons you have taught me. I look forward to all of your videos.
Nice technique with cross grinding the rivet heads and use of the air hammer tool bits! I learn something new every time I watch your videos! I like it! 👍👍
Love watching you working on various projects which gets me inspired to do work on my vehicle. I have a 1978 Chevy Monte Carlo that I put a 454 engine in it when I worked at a Chevy dealership from 1978 until 2008 when it closed. After watching how you install air bags on different vehicles I want to do it on my car.
Mike's passion really comes through when he talks about the stance of a car. It's like poetry to him, he's talked about a car sitting in an alley with the lights off waiting, about to get into something. Im not an English major but I i think they call that personification, when you give human characteristics to an object. If theres any English majors out there let me know if I got the definition right. #TodoLokochon
Low riders are kool but I never could get the bouncy bouncy stuff. I'm a Dodge guy so I like the big block mopars and I love driving the sht out of them. I put a stroked Chrysler 400(451cuin) in my 40 dodge and it goes like FK. IFS. IRS. 4 wheel disc brakes. Lots of fun. Thanks Mike and Big Steve for sharing. Cant wait to see the Packard ripping up the road
I feel like the younger people are starting to get into the hobby again. And I’ve noticed more chicks starting to do it now which is badass!! I’m just a small town Utah white boy that digs your channel! I want your 36 bad! Keep up the good work!!
Thanks for the suspension explanation. Answered a lot of questions I had about them because there aren't many in my part of the woods. I worked as body tech myself from 15 years old.73 now.
Great job with some help from Big Steve: another satisfying Sunday from the house of Bello's metal magic! I like the fast low riders. I think the hoppers are OK for those who like them. Tu sabes? With love and respect from Tejas.❤💪🤠
My 36 Chevy 5 window coupe had a shit load of wood, I replaced it all with metal. It was a great job though and it worked out well. Small block Chevy with tremic 5 speed, 55 Chevy rear differential 3.55 posi. 42” ladder bars and coil overs, mustang 2 front. Suicide doors, this build took me 11 months.
I don’t know if anyone has ever kicked around this idea but being so magic Mike does such great work and his team kicks out such cool old school, hot rods. It’d be neat if there were like car show/ cruise with the rides to showcase the portfolio of rides
You make a truely beautiful car look even better than it was when it came off of the assembly line. You are a true artist. Just think if You were a teacher and maybe sponser an apprentice?
Plastic vs. steel? I had a friend who worked on cars his whole life, and he died an old man ten years ago. He told me a mechanic at the Chevrolet dealership where they worked together in 1953 said about the new model that year,”If they built them any cheaper, they wouldn’t work at all.” 1953 . I love to watch work done by the man who loves to work: Mike Bellos. Thank you.
Oh and the thing about the lowrider thing you mentioned. I couldn agree more on your way of explaning the lowrider. Lowriders (hydraulics) aren't low at all. I like them. But they buikd them and then do stupid things and bend the frame with jumping around it's just not good on the car. Just put air under it and cruise around as low as possible. Be one with the streets. I like the wax you cruise in your chopped chevy coupe. Low and leaning back. 🤙🤙
Just think if You made the front end, the hood and the fenders and grill all tilt forward like that on a semi truck and still retain how the hood would open butterfly style
When it comes to cruising to me, low riders, hot rods, turners, bombs, rat rods, street bikes etc., everyone has a lane to represent their style in the street! ❤️
Hey guys .... about the fire destruction , there was some lost cool rides that got burn't. I don't know if this video is after , before or during the disaster. Prayers to all who are going through the hard time . Got to love the old iron no plastic or fibre glass . Those headlights are eye catching. Hope they pop at the final hour
steel is real... plastic is spastic. thanks for being steel Mike & Big-Steve!
Lowriders, hoppers, hot rods, rat rods, whatever, they aren't just cars they are someone's vision and that makes them artwork. Diversity is what makes it awesome.
Those are the sweetest headlites I think I've ever seen .

By far my favorite car 😎 too cool. That face is like nothing else 👍 Mike is the artist 👨🏻🎨
Awesome way to cut the rivets, so much faster!
Keeping it real...budget dictates the direction of the build 💯
Oh and the thing about the lowrider thing you mentioned. I couldn agree more on your way of explaning the lowrider. Lowriders (hydraulics) aren't low at all. I like them. But they buikd them and then do stupid things and bend the frame with jumping around it's just not good on the car.

Thats one massive frame
No plastic on old cars. Thanks for sharing 👍

I love the Tombstone Nose on this one, it has attitude..
Hi My Dear Friend Very Very Great Job Sir ❤❤❤❤❤

Lol
Thank you, guys !🙏
✨️🤙
All steele cars were in competition with each other to see which one would fold on impact. and which owner might live through it
When it comes to cruising to me, low riders, hot rods, turners, bombs, rat rods, street bikes etc., everyone has a lane to represent their style in the street! ❤️
Steel for me 👍👍
Big "fuckin around" Steve! lol.
All steel. Always!
Excellent work Mike
Nothin’ better than a classic low rider.
The Professor is in the house! Another lesson for us all today
Good Morning!!!
