- The Brooklyn Public Library has had bookmobiles, some are now called “techmobiles,” out in Brooklyn neighborhoods for 70 years now. Jimmy got his first library card in Brooklyn when he was two years old, and so when he got a chance to take a ride around town in the bookmobile, he said YES!

I was in school in the 80s and 90s. Graduated in 2000. I Loved when the bookmobile came by. My mom was a library addict. We'd go almost every day if not weekly. It's how I learned to do computer programming in the early days.

Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert are my daily dose of sanity during these last six years of daily trauma in a country. I greatly appreciate them and their riders are keeping me sane. However I feel incredibly resentful when they take one month to three months off in the summer and then Again this past week without any notice or forewarning. I really depend on them and they are both incredibly wealthy successful and deserving of time off of course so they can and they should, but when there is nothing in their place it is really difficult for those of us that depend on them
