I canceled my six zero ruby order to buy a Gearbox Pro Power Elongated. Can not wait to take the Ferrari of paddles for a spin. Thank you for the innovation in the space!
They need to have people who like and who use the Gearbox Pro series of pickleball paddles test the new Gearbox paddles Because a person who normally plays with a Gearbox Pro series of pickeball paddles knows what to look for and they know how they play and they know when it is broken in and can give a fair contrasting view of the paddle in question and contrast it with the other Gearbox Pro pickleball paddles. also a lot of people do not understand the characteristic of how Carbon fiber alone plays which you can tell by the reviewers comments. less swing power when swinging the paddle gives you more control with carbon fiber, because carbon fiber is soft and flexy and more swing or harder swing makes the carbon fiber stiffer which generates more power. Also a combination of foam being stiff and hard in between the ribs/ridges of the carbon fiber makes for a very stiff and hard paddle until the foam is loosen up which happens by you playing with it which then eventually allows a person to experience how carbon fiber plays. Properties of Carbon Fiber Strength-to-Weight Ratio: One of the most notable characteristics of carbon fiber is its exceptional strength-to-weight ratio. This means that carbon fiber rackets can withstand significant stress while remaining lightweight, allowing for quicker swings and improved maneuverability on the court. Durability: Carbon fiber is resistant to wear and tear, making it less likely to break or suffer damage during intense play. This durability ensures that players can rely on their rackets for longer periods without needing frequent replacements. Stiffness and Responsiveness: The stiffness of carbon fiber contributes to its responsiveness during play. When a player strikes the ball, energy transfer is efficient, resulting in powerful shots and enhanced control. Vibration Dampening: High-quality carbon fiber rackets often incorporate technology to dampen vibrations upon impact. This feature helps reduce arm fatigue and provides a more comfortable playing experience.
@@CarlosThomasI can only expect that they sold out instantly. I bought mine on launch morning and didn’t see anything about a 2-4 week. I emailed them and they said paddle should ship in 3-6 days. Was a generic email reply but hoping it is accurate.
I have 2 gearbox Pro Power Elongated Pickleball Paddles which are great. I use 11 3-grams of lead tape weight around one pickleball paddle and 13 3-grams of lead weight stripes around the other one.
Ordered my elongated power yesterday. Rafael is also one of the nicest person you would want to know. I’m also a gearbox ambassador and I know as soon as I show up at the court and play with it, other players will want one. Every review of this paddle has the same remarks, unbelievable, awesome and what is this paddle legal, it’s that good. I can’t wait to take a to the court.
seems like the face of the paddle technology is evolving like the technology used for the faces of drivers in golf...off center hits are neutralized so they try to go straighter...not a bad combo
Can you tell me if the control models have the Horizontal separators making more individual cells like the power versions? If you look at the diagram on their website, they do not show the same individual cells.
Why the change in the grip size? I got used to 3 5/8, racquetball like grip and now you have changed! Are you guys going to get new racquets with the smaller grip size on 4 is the norm going forward or 4 1/8?
@anwarsadat2334 unfortunately we only have the 4''. Try taking off the grip that comes on the Pro Power and applying an overgrip. This will give you a slimmer feel!, closer to 3 5/8''!
Just this morning, I played for the first time with my new Fusion Control and I'm totally stoked! Great spin and touch! Thank you Gearbox!

I ordered mine yesterday so I’m really excited to try it and see how cool would this paddle be 💪🏻
Are they shipping them already? I saw on the website the following day they now have a 2 to 4 week wait.

@jwhitehead7479 we agree! Happy to have the chance to sit down with Rafael and talk the new Gearbox Pro Series!
Ordered my paddle two days ago.
this is going to be the longest 2-4 week wait for this paddle to arrive......worse than Christmas...LOL

No. That's the difference between the power and control

@@JustPaddles If I am to remain with Gearbox I want to understand if the 4" grip is going to be standard or are you going to change the size again?
You can always built up the grip handle with grip tape.
