+MATERIALS:
-Vinyl: I purchased mine at JoAnn's.
-Zipper: goo.gl/uU3vRe (Mine was 9 inches long)
-Rotary Cutter: goo.gl/9sRvFk
-Iron-On Adhesive: goo.gl/If6Ubu
-Iron
-Needle & Thread
+EXTRA TIPS & TRICKS
-Don't iron the black side of the vinyl. It will melt! You can iron over the iron-on adhesive tape if the black side is facing up. Otherwise, only iron the grey side.
-If you choose the no-sew method: let the iron-on adhesive set overnight BEFORE you flip it inside out.

Thank you sooooo much for replying. Xx
It's is awesome😉
i love this video. never worked with adhesive. does anyone know how durable it is? im pretty hard on my clutches. if anyone knows? you make everything seem so easy! thank you for that! have a blessed week!
amazing !! :)
Ahhh I love your DIYs so much! I also absolutely love how you did this! You always do such a fantastic job of showing us what to do and what not to do, helping troubleshoot along the way while also showing designs that really feel very feasible to do. I also love that you showed more than one way to do this. Seriously, you probably do my favorite DIYs on UA-cam because your presentation is so awesome. Also, that was soooo freaking cute at the end with the little pieces slowly making their way into the clutch. I'm loving the editing style, and am looking forward to anything else you will continue to do in the future :)
Thank you! Seriously, thank you! It's comments like these that keep me crafting :)
+simpleDIYs haha good, guess that means I need to keep commenting so you keep crafting! ;)
I'm #780 who liked your video. I'm also a new subbie. Love your work!
Love it! What size zipper did you use?

YES! I needed this video ^heads to walmart & craft store*
Do it!
I know I'm not the first or only one to tell you this, but your editing is really the best! Also I dig the way this looks totally classy and is still super easy, thanks for uploading (:
+Giselle Kusters Thank you!!
Great diy, i wanna know if theres a way to make faux leather thicker by gluing a liner, if so what type of liner
Love the new editing!
Yay! Someone noticed :) thanks!
+simpleDIYs may I ask you a question? Well anyways the question is:what do u use to edit your videos?it would mean the world to me if u answered.
I use Adobe Premiere Pro now. I used to use iMovie which I loved because it's free, but Adobe gives me way more control over things like color correction and audio so I'm a huge fan of it. Hope that helps!
Just watched this today, what is music playing in background ?
hey! you're back! I'm kind of digging your new editing style!
+Zymon B. So happy that everyone's noticing! :)
I love you so much welcome back. I missed you
+Anime Kaur I missed posting videos! And you guys, of course :) Glad to be back.
+simpleDIYs yay for more videos. great job as usual Julia. 😄😄😄😄😄
What type of needle and thread did you use for the vinyl, and what needle and thread would I use for Pu Leather hand sewing method?
Has anyone used this heat up adhesive? What results have you had with it over time/with a lot of use? Thanks
from where I could get this vinyal from cloth shop or book store ??? by the way its a nice one :) keep it up :)
Round bottom corners would also look neat.
Show! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
hi, do u have soundcloud? i like the music u choose for ur videos
Can you use the iron adhesive on real leather of just faux?
very nice can we use other cloth and ribbons for side and u got a new subscriber and r u americam
say you wanted to attach a strap how would you do that?
would sewing the zips work🤔
Can you sew Vynel on a sewing machine?
This is really cool! I was wondering, did you just tie the tassels on or did you have to sew a few stitches when you looped it in the little ring or something else? Thanks and welcome back!!✨
Yes! Good eye! I just did one quick stitch to hold it together. You could also just tie a short strip of ribbon or fabric to the zipper for an easy option.
Can we get that updated apartment tour???
cute little clutch. what suze was the zipper? welcome back to your channel i missed seeing you it. thanks
Thank you! I used a 9 inch zipper in the video.
Super cute! This would make an awesome minimalist purse as well if you repurpose a thin belt as a strap. :) Random question: where is your gridded skirt/dress from? Love it!
Thank you! The dress is from Lulu's. Here's a link -- m.lulus.com/products/mic-check-one-two-black-and-ivory-grid-print-dress/221898.html
How long will it last with just the adhesive it self and not sewing it.
Can you then customize it with HTV?
That would be perfect except I would have used the iron on all the way around. Throw a lining in that bag and PERFECT-TO! Thanks for sharing. De'
Missed you! Loved this DIY. Question: Which is sturdier the sewing or the iron on adhesive?
+LoveVIP92 The sewing is definitely the sturdier option, but the iron-on adhesive works fine for a project like a clutch because you're not going to be putting anything heavy inside of it (presumably).
If I were making a larger bag, I'd definitely opt for sewing rather than adhesive. After filming this, I actually made a laptop sleeve out of the same material and I sewed it. Hope that helps!
+simpleDIYs thank you! yes, that does help. I hope to make this soon. It's so pretty, and I don't have any clutches! :)
+LoveVIP92 I hope you decide to try it out! Good luck :)
I noticed kassie playing in the background ;)
Wished you show how to sew on machine.
Forget this the music made in
I used the scissors and they worked fined with me 😕
So long u didn't post video
How do 27 ppl not like this
first
Too much work.
+BamItzZanna Then don't do it yourself..?
And with à sewing machine it's even easier! ;)
Not when you broke. Where's my needle and thread?
