🎶oh I love trash anything dirty or dingy or dusty....I love it because it's trash🎶 can I just say another time this is such a fun Cal! Thank you Crystal!🌹🌈❤
As with each square I have learned just a little something. This time it was how you did the join of a new round in the corners. I don’t do squares because they haven’t turned out correct but now I know why! Thank you Chrystal!
@@brendabreton2954 HI Brenda. I think we all do things for charity. I give hats and baby blankets to premature baby's and homeless moms and children. I was just whining. My grandchildren are now 15 and 16. I still make them blankets and slippers. It was so much fun when I was making cute stuff for them.
Oscar is my favorite! If I had the money to buy the toppers all individually I would make an entire blanket of just Oscar 😂 Growing up, my dad use to play the movie "Follow that bird" and at the start of the film was Oscar singing the Grouch National Anthem. I have never forgotten about that.
I just love how very “inclusive” you are in every thing you do and say. I, for one, appreciate it very much. ☺️Love how you carry the yarn along…Hope to try this some day. Thanks Crystal. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🤗
Finally done. My family always seems to really need me when I have something I wanna do. Lol. I do not like seeing in all the ends so this is great to carry the color along. Thank you Crystal for all the great different squares, makes for an interesting project.
Ok, it seems easy, but last time we had to carry, I kept forgetting! 😅 Well, let's get to it, thank you Crystal, it's fun doing these squares! Can't wait to put them together! 🙂
Omg me too Abby cadabby I have more pink than white no clue what I did wrong lol with Oscar, I decided to cut the yarn when we switch Lolol I get confuzzled easily these days 🌻🌻🌻
I love this square. I love them all but this and Cookie are my fave characters. I cant wait to see how these all come together. :) I'm having so much fun with this.
You are so talented. These blocks are so cute. I will be making them as soon as I get the yarn. I really enjoyed watching you crochet them, learned even more stitches.
He's too cute to be Oscar the Grouch. I'm saving the tutorials to start them all at one time. You make carrying and hiding the thread look so easy. Your tutorials are so detailed and helpful for newbies. I've been crocheting for over 50 years but I still learn new things. Thanks so much 🤗😇
Thank you Crystal. So far I'm keeping up and yes I'm using the heads can't wait till my kids see the finished product. Sometimes the heads get played with as I'm working up the current weeks square.🥰
One more done, I had a hard time at first because I confused myself and it was horrible so I had to frog from round 5 and I started over and the second time I got it and it was easier! Thanks for teaching me new things all the time! Much Love and blessings ❤️
Been waiting on Oscar!!!😃 have had my green dug out for awhile. Great job Crystal and thank you. Can’t wait to see the nearly completed piece!! Exciting stuff.
Thank you thank you. This is so much fun! This might have been the easiest square yet, but still so pretty when all done. I'm addicted. Is it too soon to ask you to do another CAL when this one is finished??? Tuesday's just won't be the same, LOL. I even find myself getting sad as I start row 12, knowing I'll have to put the project away for a whole week. Hahaha. Anyway, thanks a bunch for all you do and have done for my crocheting skills. I'm learning so much!
This is a cute square and looks pretty easy, which is good as I just started this one today. i'm a bit behind lol Thanks Crystal for another great tutorial!
Love Oscar but for sure I thought you were gonna choose Bert next Lolol 7 down 2 to go . when my grandkids come , my 4 yr old Michael loves to see what’s next I tell him I don’t know what Crystal Is going to choose next Lolol love you 🌻🌻🌻
Hi Crystal question I know sizes will be a bit different per square but this one is about 3 inches bigger using exactly same hook as the others. I know this one is a lot faster than the others. If I block will the others stretch that much? Once you block and you wash does it need to be blocked every time? This will go to a homeless shelter so will be washed a lot. They will mot be able to block.
Is so sad I have gone to the store multiple time but I can’t find them I saw it at Joanns once then I went bank after your video and they don’t have it anymore 😢
Mary Maxim has 7 of the characters. They are out of Grover and The Count but have all the rest in stocks for $6.99. Check online for possible coupon codes. Good luck!
I normally never catch these or correct them if I do, at about 27:58 it says to add TWO dc on top of each hdc from the previous row.. then at 29:27 it says to add only ONE dc to each hdc... Hopefully others see it before doing 2 in the whole row, it's only ONE.
Hi Crystal - After round 4, you say there will be an increase of 16 stitches, but I’m wondering if this is correct. According to my calculations, there should be in increase of 4 stitches per row. !?!?! Ending with 31 stitches at the end of round 8.
There's 4dc put in each of the 4 chain 2 spaces in every round which would make 16 more stitches at the end of each round.. or 4 more stitches in between the ch2 spaces... round 8 will have 31 between each chain 2 space... the video is correct, this is the number I say in the video 😊

These would make beautiful lovey blankets for babies

I wish my grandkids were younger. I miss making stuff like this. Beautiful work yet again Crystal. Blessings
Hi Nomina. I don’t have kids but am doing this anyways as a fund raiser for my local animal shelter
