Good idea Renee. I too have a memory problem due to a brain stroke about a year ago. I have to make adustments! Looking foward to learn this for a ful size afghan.🎉
I really love this stitch pattern. I would have to write down how each row starts and ends bc I get confused more easily now and memory is shot. I crocheted it along with you. Fun to do and pretty ❤️ thank you Crystal.
I love this stitch. I am making a memory baby afghan with this stitch. I am really hoping I can do it. Wanting to put hearts in the corners and my great nephews name in it. Wish me luck. Thanks for this tutorial Crystal
I love learning new stitches I started a scarf but I actually think I am going to frog it and make a baby blanket with it. It is a beautiful stitch. Thank you for showing us
As soon as you showed your swatch I fell in love with this pretty little stitch and it works perfectly with that yarn.Thank you Crystal for this tutorial 🧶😊
Beautiful stitch by a beautiful instructor. You are absolutely amazing with what you come up with. I need to make my husband a blanket this will be great. I started my husband a sweater 40 years ago, I was knitting it. We lived in old Mexico at the time, when we moved back to the U.S. something happened to what I had completed on it. Well, for 40 years my husband has teased me about making him a sweater. I made 16 blankets this last year and this this year. I told him I am ready to make your sweater. Love the one Mr. BOD is modeling. So what does my husband say, I really don't want a sweater I would rather have a blanket. OMG. I am blanketed out. But this stitch will work. So thank you very much. Love ya stay safe.
I am doing my best at fallowing your tutorials… which is very easy, thank you. I started out with a beanie. Turned out beautiful, next a blanket. I finished it this morning. I wanted to show you a picture of it but I need a tutorial on how to do that. Thank you for being a great teacher.
WOW, This is my new fast fav in quite a few days. The texture of the actual stitch blows me away...doesn't matter to me the yarn, to know it will look successful.
Hello Crystal! I absolutely love this stitch. I ran to get yarn and my hook to make a swatch before you started. You are a great teacher. You show the stitches slowly so we can see exactly what you are doing. Thank you so much for making me a better crocheter. You are highly appreciated. 🍎 🍏 🍎. Apples for the best teacher.
This is a fantastic stitch. I can think of several things to make with it! I haven’t seen a stitch I’ve liked as much as this, I’m stoked to get on it. TY for sharing💜💜🙏🧶💜
1st glimpse of that yarn I thought what a perfect yarn for a baby blanket 💕💙💕 I wanted to make one for my son's bf. I sure hope I can find that adorable yarn.
You are such a good teacher. As I'm following you and I'm thinking ok but what about...you answer the exact question I was thinking. Lol it's so great! It's fun to watch you and I learn so much! Thank you.
I think this stitch would be perfect with a #5 bulky yarn. Talking about squishy?! 😂. I think the squish factor would be off the charts!! Thank you Crystal for another awesome stitch tutorial. ☮💜🧶
That is such a cute stitch, and doesn’t look hard to do once you get in the groove. The yarn is so pretty for a baby blanket! I think a scarf would be pretty in that yarn, too.
I love doing baby blankets with speckled yarns. So much more interesting than plain colors, even when they're put in narrow stripes. Babies need the stimulation provided by bright colors, and speckles do that best, in my opinion. Thanks for an adorable pattern stitch.
I haven't used that stitch before. I have some sport weight yarn that I think would make a lovely cowl using this pattern. After that, I probably will make a blanket because I love making blankets. I'm enjoying all the tutorials lately.
What a pretty stitch! I think the yarn works so well with this stitch. Perfect for a baby blanket, even if you don't know if it is going to be a girl or boy!
Love everything abt this swatch. Yarn color, beautiful easy stitch pattern n how quickly it seems to work up. Idk how you get so much do w/all your other stuff but I totally appreciate everything you do. Thank you Crystal.
I am using your stitch for a blanket that I am attempting to make for patients receiving chemotherapy at our local hospital. I make blankets for them and I try to do a new stitch every time I make a blanket. I just donated six blankets, last week. In between making those blankets I also make baby blankets for knots of love, but you have to use their pattern and they only have one crochet pattern. When I get bored with doing that specific pattern then I go back to making blankets for chemo patients. When I get a few made I mail off the knots of love and take the blankets to the hospital. I love watching your tutorials. I try to enter all of your drawings, and keep hoping to win, you are extremely generous. Thank you
That is a beautiful stitch. I think I'm going to make a scarf for my friend of 60 year's and I have the perfect yarn. Thank you again for being such a good teacher ❤
I'm using this stitch for a baby blanket. I went down to a size 5 hook and I like how fast the stitch works up. I'll share on your Facebook group you opened back up when I make some progress.

That yarn is beautiful ! Not to sound creepy but watching you crochet really relaxes me! Your movements with your hands and yarn are so fluid! I wish I could crochet like that. I will keep watching maybe I'll get lucky!
You teach so well. My first time watching/ hearing you and i.m "hooked" 😊 .... defined going to do this stitch. And as you...I love it too!!!! Thank you.
Ohhh that yarn is really cute and I swear Crystal you make it so easy to learn all these stitches you are an awesome teacher. Thank you so much for igniting my love of crafting again.
STITCH SUGGESTION: I'd love to see a series of tutorials that feature the BEST STITCHES (and edging/borders) FOR FUZZY YARNS. (I just finished your Easy Cowl Scarf with Tipsy Shells and used a "3" wt. fuzzy merino/alpaca/acrylic yarn in a soft pink that looks like cotton candy. Love how it turned out!) Thanks, Crystal! ❤
@Patricia D'Amario - I made Crystal's "Easy Cowl Scarf with Tipsy Shells", using Rozetti "Alaska" yarn in color "Peach Puff" (purchased recently from Premier Yarns -- bargain pricing!), using a 6mm hook for a lightweight, fluffy result.
