Thank you so much Michelle I really really enjoyed watching you create these beautiful and stunning pieces. I really really love ❤️ them, and I really really have to say, that I agree with the comment below, you are absolutely an artist. And your bug’s are brilliant and amazing too. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags ❤❤❤❤
Wow! Amazing and beautiful! I love the colors you used on all the bugs. I love bugs too, they are a vital part of the natural world. Bugs amaze me with their vibrant colors and their detailed patterns. I would love to see how you painted the moth. You are a watercolor artist! Your paintings are simply stunning and i learn so much watching your videos. 💕
You say you are not an artist but what I have seen on UA-cam and Instagram you surely are! Love the way you play and having control over the colors and materials. I learn a lot from you. Thanks so much for that!🙏
I’ve just recently found your channel, and after years of stamping ‘because I can’t draw’, I finally drew something I’m happy with. I made a mushroom! I’m so proud - so thank you so much for your clear and inspiring videos!
Thank you for doing bugs! I was struggling with drawing a cicada earlier this week, which led to the discovery that buggy art is criminally underrepresented in UA-cam videos. They come in so many fun shapes and textures that make them ideal art subjects, so I really appreciate that you chose some non-typical insects to paint. Looking forward to trying your approach!
Thank you so much for this amazing tutorial. Would really love to see more watercolour bugs. Also please don't sell yourself short, YOU ARE AN AMAZING ARTIST! ❤
I cannot put into words how much I enjoyed this. The world of insects are almost infinite in beauty, color, and shapes. They have fascinated me all my 55 years and your techniques are wonderful. Thank you so much.
YES, you are a watercolor artist!!! Your work is amazing. You, and another UA-cam person, Debbie Walker, along with a friend of mine, have inspired me to pick up a watercolor brush again. Ok, now to watch this fascinating video.
Hi Michelle, I love bugs too! I’ve drawn and painted bugs, but never thought to use colors like you did. Your bugs are beautiful. Your fantastic at explaining things and encouraging experimentation. Tfs, hugs, Julie 🥰
I got so excited when I saw you were painting beetles! I Love them too. You made all the insects look beautiful with the watercolor, they look like color plates you would find in a reference book. I am inspired to try my hand at a few. Thank you for this 😊
I just love bugs too and have my whole life. I quit watching this video because I know that I must try and paint these guys but I have a very busy day today. So my goal is to watch it tomorrow on Saturday and work along with you. My goal for the new year is to go back to watercolor painting. You are such an encouragement to me
These would make great birthday cards for the grandsons and men in the family! Coming up with masculine cards is a bit hard so thank you, your bugs are fantastic!
I too am fascinated with bugs. Their colors are sometimes amazing. Loved your colors and learned something new. Just saw on Ceri the crafter that you are collaborating with PM artist stencils ! Good luck thanks again.hugs
What a fun play of layering, I was hoping for a dragonfly or ladybug but this was very different from anything I would ever paint. Maybe a lesson on frogs????
I forgot to add that I have a cabinet full of bugs, beetles, butterflies, bees, feathers and other curiosities that I have found in my yard and woods. Nature has dried and preserved them not me. I don't capture them alive. They are beautiful and serve as examples of God's beauty.
Michele, your sketches and paintings are always so impressive! Thank you for another lovely tutorial. I love seeing your subscriber numbers growing so quickly. You deserve it!
Without "bugs" our world would be a terrible place in which to live. If more people would just get to know the insects and spiders around them they wouldn't be killing them. Doesn't mean they have to live in the house with you but they can live in harmony with you where they live. That's my bug speech. LOL Love your pretty bugs today. 💞
I know bugs aren't everyone's cuppa but they are definitely mine❤❤❤. If you have the need to do some spooders mum and I would love that!🥰 These are just stunning. Thank you for sharing your art! Golden orb weavers are my favorite. Mom loves the jumpers. Moths are severely underrepresented too. Rosey maple moths are super pretty. So are jewel beetles. Really any arachnid or buggo is welcome 🤗.
Wheel bugs are super cool too. I think you would get a kick out of them if you haven't seen them before. The jewel beetles have the iridescence you are looking for if you want to make it accurate. I have ideas. Let me know if you need more bug/spood/things that buzz ideas. 😂😂
In watercolors it might help to learn about staining or non staining colors. The non staining will lift easier. The bugs were great, enjoyed your fun colors for them.
I just found you here on UA-cam and it instantly made me grab my supplies and start painting some insects🪲 Thank you so much for your inspiration and creative freedom
I have this Meiliang palette that I bought in 2020. I liked it so much that I bought it for a friend in May and noticed that they have changed a lot of the names of the paints. The light blue you use in the video was originally called verditer blue. The paints are all the same and in the same order. Your viewers who have the older palette might find it confusing to try to get the right colours. If you show the whole palette while you are working, they can see which pan you use to load up your brush. Hope this helps avoid confusion for your viewers. I absolutely love your buggies! Much prettier than the disgusting earwigs that have been infesting my flowers this summer!
Not a dragonfly. A damselfly. I would want to know because I like bugs too. I'm not trying to be mean. Damselflies fold their wings like that. Dragonflies don't fold them when they are just sitting.
I love your bugs! Love watching you! I think you are amazing!
Amazing watercolor painting, step by step instructions. Loving this buggy insect.
I also love bugs and drawing them. I really enjoyed your video. Thankyou

I love your artist's mind, woman.
Imma the least bug-centered person ever...so...yr skill & influence is a major breakthrough for this stomach churning operation...

Those are amazing Michele! You make bugs look beautiful! 😘

Once again, my ARTIST friend, very cool! I do wish you would show a reference photo for every subject. ❤

What a fun play of layering, I was hoping for a dragonfly or ladybug but this was very different from anything I would ever paint. Maybe a lesson on frogs????
Looks stunning! Thank you so much.
Oh my goodness these are beautiful. I'd say artist!!!
You should sell your carved stamps, bumps and all.
I forgot to add that I have a cabinet full of bugs, beetles, butterflies, bees, feathers and other curiosities that I have found in my yard and woods. Nature has dried and preserved them not me. I don't capture them alive. They are beautiful and serve as examples of God's beauty.
Those are gorgeous! Tfs. 😊
Magnifique comme d’habitude ! Je vais essayer d’en faire car mon petit-fils est passionné par les insectes. Amitiés

Oh, I need to give this a try! They are all so beautiful. I especially like the first one. It looks like it was actually scuttling across the paper!
Thanks...this was great 👍

"I am not a watercolor artist" proceeds to create a watercolor masterpiece
I love this. Thank you!
Ummmm....Michele, if you're not an artist, I don't know who is! 🥰
Your insects are all beautiful. Take care, be safe.
Definately not a fan of bugs, but I appreciate that you enjoy them and are very talented in creating images of them. Keep up the beautiful work!
Are you drawing these from memory or reference pictures? Beautiful bugs!
Adding another thing……. Kremer pigments makes several dozen different metallic paints. These bugs would be AMAZING do try them out for fun! ClaudiaSJI
Not a dragonfly. A damselfly.
I would want to know because I like bugs too. I'm not trying to be mean.
Damselflies fold their wings like that. Dragonflies don't fold them when they are just sitting.
Buggo people can't help themselves.😂 I do the same thing. ❤
