That mouse somehow just took me like 45 minutes to draw. I was really struggling 😅 I'm so relieved to finally be done with that so I can color it. I really need to practice drawing more!

Whether you are creating with watercolor, acrylic, or colored pencils, everything you create speaks to me. I'm happy you take your time when you create videos because it is a pace for those like me who are learning and makes it all very achievable. Take care of yourself with that summer cold of yours. Maybe it's allergies and you'll get over it quickly. I hope so.

I always love your art. As I've told you before, it's what drew (no pun intended..haha) me to your channel. I love the easy-to-follow way you explain how to draw something, especially the botanicals, I totally love drawing native species. BTW - Like I said in a previous post, I am NOT A CRAFTER.... I am a hobby artist (said with flourishing hands and haute voice) And then it happened....I made a lap junk journal, then I helped my 12-year-old granddaughter build one, and next we are helping her bestie craft one! OMG...what is happening to me??? 🤣I am in fact taking my lap journal camping with me, right along with my fancy plein air equipment! The journal is ugly as sin and held together with bits of canvases that made it into the dead pile. But it does contain a watercolor palette with brushes, pencils, and pens, and my first attempts at stitching watercolor paper into book form. It has hidden storage where I keep postcard sized artwork from a favorite artist I follow. I'll never get rid of it! I can't begin to tell you how many watercolor journals I've made since then and while they are far from perfect, they get better with each one!
Absolutely love everything you draw and I draw along with you nearly every time.. my friends think I’m very creative until I tell them I simply copy you 😊
