Lois, My 14 year old daughter who loves art asked me a few days ago how to add a person to her painting and I told her to draw a carrot with two legs and a tiny little round head. Needlesss to say she looked at me as if I was bonkers and I didn't have time to show her. Then, voila! You gave us this which I showed her and pointed out the basic carrot shape with a little bit of detail added so I have shared it with her and her practice for today is drawing figures thanks to you and this wonderful demo which I am also going to practice myself. Once again, you have saved the day 😁. Thank you so much x
Beautiful. Thank you, again, Lois, for sharing so generously. As always, your clear and inspiring technique looks so easy, until the video is paused, and the brush is in my hand!
Thank you, Lois! It just goes to show that you do not need 400 colours and 67 brushes to make great art. I'm still tooting to old Ron Ranson horn! 👏 Nothing makes better trees and foliage than the corner of a hake brush and a rigger. 💖😊
Thank you Lois..that was brill.. so simply done. your great tips and advice are so appreciated. I first started with landscape monochrome painting. but I've never tried a cityscape painting.. thanks again...kind regards Dave 👍😊
I just found you today and I am so grateful for that. I love your approach to painting and your conversation while painting. Very helpful and encouraging. I feel as if I am in the room with you. Thank you so much 😊
Thank you Lois for the lesson, you are really good at drawing characters, I would have liked to learn more with you, maybe one day... Thank you for your generosity and your advice that also make me progress and improve my English a little rusty. Bruno in France.
I LOVE, LOVE, 💕 this technique....I have do many projects going on... but once things calm down, this will be my NEXT project attempt.... you are THE best, thanks, as always 😉🖌️🎨
Very intreguing picture using one colour Lois, enjoyable to see your way of giving amazing images to take your eye line through the forground to the distant buildings. Thanks greatly appreciated stay safe and healthy
That was excellent and super helpful. I will be experimenting with this. The effect you have achieved is wonderful; it could be a contemporary urban scene or just as easily a futuristic spaceport. Subscribed!
I find the moment interesting when you paint the shadows. Suddenly I have the impression that there comes a light from the left. Although you did not paint light.
your relaxed manner sets the tone for being looser....love your paintings
