This is the best rv truck camper i have ever seen. No unnecessary items ,just plain,practical,useful. Love it
I have a 2009 Ford F 350 SWD with a Cummins 6.7 in it and haul a Northern Lite 10-2 in it. Just got back from 4 months out west and went everywhere in it. I boondocked 95% of the time with it from 12,600 ft in Gold Basin and Summit Colorado to the Mormon Trail in SE Utah Desert to the Badlands of SD and the Mountains of Wyoming. Highly recommend a set up like I have that's light enough to let you go anywhere...oh and the Cummins...so sweet. 75 MPH on the highways runs under 2k rpm's with the camper.

You said it was a cummins swap but I never heard if it is a 5.9 or 6.7. This is the best type of Overland /off road camper out there, IPO I don't know why more people aren't making them. It must me harder than it looks to build them.

Was probably driving around with a shitty tune on the 6.0. I know the 6.0l like the back of my hand ( Ford diesel tech). International did have design issues, but once fixed I'd drive a 6.0l around the world. learned the lesson 6.0l, that's why the Cummins is lasting.
Unfortunately just shopping for a 6.0 came across a few people who thought their truck was bulletproofed according to their mechanic. But then you pop the hood and it's pretty much just an egr delete.
What mods would you suggest? Mine has studs, BP EGR, ELC coolant, IPR coolant filter, updated standpipes/dummy plugs, blue spring and 180 amp alternator. Edge Evolution, No tune just tires size and monitor.

That thing is awesome, and strikes a great balance between comfortable enough if bad weather keeps you inside, but still able to get you to the way back down the dirt road camp sites.

Very nice upgraded/modded class c! Definately a keeper. I am personally familiar with singing the 6 litre blues. Never again. Just let your money swirl around and go down the drain.

Good call dumping the 6.0l Powerjoke. They were hot garbage in an otherwise good truck.

@ArmchairWarrior believe it or not those are made by international. Wich makes great big truck motors. But sucks on those power strokes for some reason. Funny thing is you can get a f 650 or f750 with a Cummins from Ford factory. That's what I would have done myself.

Remote or upgraded oil cooler, coolant bypass filter, EGR delete (or upgrade) and head studs.

@@Down2Mob in a way. I did it the easier way and bought a Dodge 5500. But I am no where near the level you are. Just cab and chassis. Has exhaust brake to help heavy boy slow down when I get camper body installed on back.

@@Down2Mob I had an 2008 Dodge 5500 and it had exhaust brake. 1st time I ever drove a truck that small with that. I fell in love. Was dump truck. In four years hauling 4 tons of dirt in it , not once did I have to replace brakes. Had company 550 and brakes 2 times a year. It makes huge difference . Basically slows itself down to crawl. Barely tap them to stop. Love it
