at 11.48 , i noticed the lights on the garage door , both lights seem to glare to the right , almost identical , instead of a spread on both sides , my jeep lights did this , on one bulb , i re, seated the bulb to face the other way and it created an even spread across the drive path , just a helpful tip :)
Thank you! Very helpful!
You're welcome!

Thanks brother
Nice job bout to change out the housings
Nice! Thanks for watching!
I just got the exact same lights for Xmas for my 2005. I had the same problem with the marker lights - ended up using the original ones to make them work also! That said, the spring clips for the outside edges were WAY outta speck - I had to re-use the Ford clips on both sides.
At least it works, I have noticed aftermarket stuff you sometimes have to make work. But its better than paying 4-5x the cost for OEM. Thanks for watching!
Great video..... it help me a lot
Glad to hear that!
I would like to put an off-road bumper on my Ford expedition, the only way to do so is put in F150 headlight. Is this doable
If you use painters tape and apply the tape to your garage door by your old headlights then it’s very simple to adjust your new headlights after installation.
Good tip! Thanks for watching!
And if you don't have a garage then that tip is useless thanks
@@QueBall5235 Then use a wall brainiac.
Thanks helped alot
Glad it helped!
I've been buying new headlights off Amazon every couple of years for my '07 F150. They are around $65 for the set. I put a little wax on them now and again. They don't last long, the clear coat starts pealing. As a side note, I have started putting silicone on my bulbs around the sealing area when I install them so the lenses don't get moisture in them. Most people think the moisture is coming from the seal around the headlight lens. It is actually coming from poor manufacturing tolerances around the bulb area when purchasing cheap Chinese knock offs. I don't even bother sanding the lenses when the clear starts coming off, for $65, I will just replace them every couple of years. Hope this helps someone.
Try drilling a small weep hole in the bottom / lowest spot
Hey I want to put a f150 off road bumper on my expedition. Do you think I can put F150 headlights on as well so the bumper will fit?
@@forrestcason3584 i have no idea bud. I imagine the headlights would fit.
Thanks!
Welcome!
Great video. I know you are working on an F series but I would like to know if this assemble will work on my E350. It’s a 2006.
It is very similar. Thanks for watching!
I don't know if it was the aftermarket headlights I put in or what, but those clips on the out side of the lights would no way go in the holes. I had to use long needle nose plyers to compress them to go into the holes.
Same here
So if I need a head light ballast is it included in the light assembly out of curiosity?
No, that would be its own separate thing. Thanks for watching!
Which after market replacement lenses do you suggest? Mine look like crap.....cheap ones let water in.
These ones aren't too bad. But I can't recommend the Motorcraft ones enough. Thanks for watching!
if you lightly coat that retaining clip with some WD-40 ; or other light oil , that whole assembly just slides right in....
Typical aftermarket parts... They almost fit.. Tip for folks aiming the lights. Find a flat area with a nice wall that you can drive right up to. Take 4 pieces of painters blue tape. with you. Turn the lights on high beam, drive up to the wall straight until the bumper almost touches. Take the tape and make an X in front of the center of the brightest area of light. Now back away from the wall 10-15 feet. Look at where the brightest spots are now. They should still be on the X's, or a tiny bit to the right of them. If not adjust the lights until they are. If you have combined high/low beam lamps you are finished. If however you have low beam units that are also adjustable, switch to low beam now and adjust those using the same routine of making the X at the brightest point, BUT you want the low beams to be lower and to the right to avoid blinding other drivers. How much depends on the type of light you have. Newer vehicles that have a real horizontal cut off on the low beams are adjusted a bit different than ones that do not have that beam type. Those measurements are available, either in the owners manual on some models, in the service manual or at the www.2carpros.com/questions/new link.
For the price I really can't complain. Awesome tip on the aiming though! :) Thank you so much for watching!
thanks for advice thinking about changing mine
What model f150 are these headlights for? Ford Heritage, Lariat, etc..... I want to buy them from your link but I'm not sure if they will fit.
This was a Lariat but I don't think it matters. Thanks for watching Mark!
@@2carpros Thank you.
@@2carpros By the way loved the video. I look forward to viewing more.
I like the fact that I got a Chevy advertisement watching a video about a Ford truck.
They are trying to get you to change teams! Thanks for watching!

I tried to give 100000000 likes but unfortunately I couldn't.🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thanks for watching!
I'll take your old ones. They're practically brand new.
They were good from far away but far from good looking. Thanks for watching!
Does nobody cover actually adjusting them? How about left to right adjustments….
It is set for left and right so you only need to do up and down. Thanks for watching!
@@2carpros It actually does have left and right adjustment, it's just difficult to do. The inner brackets can move... I hit a deer and found out this bracket is adjustable the hard way Haha...
