I'm half way through the video and I want to say THANKS!! its been @ 20 years since I made my last board of probably 20 and I wanted to do something with my time now that I'm disably retired. I seemed to always have a tough time with the rails but this looks SO simple and inspires me to make a few. Thanks again!!
Another Australian maker on UA-cam! So good to find you channel and joy to watch your videos. Love the surfboard! Always inspiring and I admire your imagination to keep coming up with great ideas and sharing your knowledge. Well done. One Handed Maker - Australia
Jordan, I have been enjoying the new surf board videos on all your channels immensely, you are really tempting me to get one of your kits, but it would join all my other unfinished projects here so I will pass, but I think you have done a fantastic job on getting this business up and running and I am sure it will be a success.
great craftsmanship, and very sustainable. only one question: You glued all components together under massive prestress. Aren't You afraid of partial delamination later?
is it better to do a decorative surfboard from wood(pine), mdf or from polystyrene? And what is the best way to coat the ellipsoid areas? It’s hard to give curves smoothly I guess. Thank you in advance🙏🏽
Hi Jordan(?).Hope you are well! I love the look of your kit. I have been to the website on your link and I'm not able to complete my order. Are the kits still available? Cheers.
God you just lit a fire under me!! Thanks for the kick ass inspiration. Love the table for bending the rails!! I see a lot of drilling in my very near future😁
Jordan I’m really enjoying the videos! I want to buy one of your kits but was wondering if you know of any Paulownia suppliers in the UK? I thought it would not only be cheaper for me but more sustainable to buy the bulk of the wood in the northern hemisphere. Great channel, very cool 😃
Great videos and I love the board. I make model aircraft and I glass balsa sheets to toughen them up. Instead of vacuum bagging I use a press made of two sheets of wood and a sheet of high density foam clamped with sections of threaded rod. You resin the cloth onto a sheet of mylar, lay it onto the sheet of balsa, put the sheet of foam on top, clamp it with a sheet of wood and leave to cure. They come out the press ready to use . Using pre glassed decks could cut down on a lot of sanding and polishing.

The finished nose on that fish just wasn’t doing it for me. Nice construction video. 🤙🏼
All looks very appealing until you see the price of a kit
yes, Its a bit over priced
Hey man, I'd like to see you again on new videos, you disappear and I'm wondering what are doing.
In order to build a wooden surfboard, do I need to wear a Hawaiian shirt? I worry that they may make me look fat :D
I haven't been game enough to find out if its possible to build one in any ol'shirt but Ill send you a kit so you can find out :p
Bruh that much to make it yourself? Isn’t it cheaper to just buy a one
You didn't even surf it on the video. Come on give is surf footage.
