  • After this performance being heavily requested, I couldn't possibly say no! I apologize for looking very blue for some reason the lighting today was rather blue. haha.
It was a great performance and I can definitely feel the energy from the band and crowd. That definitely stood out to me.
Hopefully you all enjoy this one too!

Imagine finding out that you’d be opening in your home town for the band that inspired you more than any other, Muse! Then imagine that Matt Bellamy personally asks you to open for them on their European tour. Then after Matt asks Dany her favorite color she soon receives a one of a kind mustard yellow Manson guitar from him! The girls couldn’t imagine all this either, but it happened!

Well there is a video of Paulina playing pull me under at age 7 or 8 so Portnoy it is. Their main influences are Muse/Halestorm/classic rock like Queen,AcDc,Metallica,Guns 'n Roses... Etc.

Pau , the drummer is the main song writer in this band .She would typically start off a song on piano and Dany and Ale would finish the latter part . It must be said that they all play an important part , in terms of composing a song .

Paulina is among the 5 finalists of the Drumeo Awards 2023 in the category of best rock drummer of 2023. It would be a great recognition of the great drummer she has been since she was 12 years old...

Concert was held in "Ciudad de Mexico" = CDMX which is Mexico City. Very thoughtful and detailed review. 👍 The band has often said that many bands and types of music influence them, but they love Muse! 😊

Great observation on Mike Portnoy…When they were much younger, Pau spent time studying and learning some Dream Theatre percussion parts 👍⚡️😊🤘 …. but Mike wasn’t singing lead while playing the fill TTTTKKTTTTKKTT ⚡️⚡️⚡️

Metalhead purists say it isn't metal, primarily because metal DOESN'T have things like 3 part harmonies and monster hooks! Just riffs and screeching. These ladies have the riffs too, and are like metal "++" - ever so much more so - nothing missing, lots ADDED!

The audio was pulled and mixed directly from the soundboard, which is why it is such high quality, though the venue is known as Mexico City’s equivalent of Carnegie Hall, so it probably has pretty good acoustics also. 👍😎

They described the process as: Paulina sets a base on the piano (and most of the lyrics) and if the other 2 approve, all three work on the lines for all instruments.
They are big Muse fans, but also from other genres, they said the constant switches in this song is something that they took from KPOP...
Daniela worked a lot on developing her voice, is fun see new fans highlight it as a strength of the band (it is), 4 years ago many people said it was the weakest point of the band and that they should add a vocalist.

#1 Paulina, the drummer starts most of the songs but they are all very deep in the process of writing the lyrics, the music and working out each part. All 3 work on drums, bass, and guitar. It is truly a group effort. #2 This entire concert was pro-shot but a college student for his finals. Ivan is now part of The Warning "family" and travels with them for all shows. #3 This theater is in Mexico City. It is the most prestigious theater in their country and it was a complete honor for them to be able to play there. When Paulina saw their name on the marque she actually started crying. #4 All 3 sing lead on certain songs or when needed. Ale' (on bass) has had to jump in a sing lead on songs when Dany (guitar) was sick, and the same for Paulina. Please check out this entire concert, as every song is done with this much passion and drive. Their music ranges from this type of hard driving rock to love song ballads that will bring you to your knees. Here is that entire concert. It is time stamped so you can see every song. *Disciple* is one of their songs about social media and how it affects people in ways they don't even know...
Dany sings the part of the "leader"... Pau sings the part of a "follower" or "disciple"... basically they're speaking about how people take what they see on social media and believe it, whatever it is... in this way, certain groups out there control the narrative and what is happening... this is a cynical song telling people to think for themselves and not believe everything they see or hear...
*XXI Century Blood* , *Z* , and *Kool-Aid Kids* are three others that also speak about social media... the 1st one, XXICB, has an OMV that tells a story... it and the director were nominated for (and won?) several awards when it was released in 2017 when Dany was 17, Pau was 15, and Ale was 12 😹

Drummer writes on piano then sisters transpose to their instruments....yea do a dive into the set up and sound, because it is pro.
And yes drummers don't like to be in a box behind everybody. I relate this to a Dave Clark five set up, where he was the main leader and writer of his group. However here all the girls are prompted to write their own parts as should be.

Pau works out the idea for the songs on piano then takes it to her sisters and all three finish it out together, if they disagree they settle it by 2 votes wins. They actually have full input on each others parts, as they like to say if one of them is working on bass or guitar, or drums, they all are.

I don't think Dream Theater has been an influence at all. Pau is a big fan of Neil Peart from Rush, but more from an overall songwriting aspect than drumming, specifically. Queen and Pink Floyd are also bands that they listened to as a family as they were growing up. They draw from a lot of modern genres, too. Japanese rock, and even K-Pop.

@kencadby6586 , @the_hetman , @Nolimitcam._ - Thanks guys, part of my issue was the thumbnail , passed right over it since I scrolled by so fast trying to read the titles ... and that was another part - inconsistency with naming the videos .... I hate when they try to get cute - just name them Band / Song / then cute part if necessary. Or at least something consistent ... Also, a playlist would help in the future. One more issue not related to the reactor, is that I am watching on Chromecast on my TV , and anyone that does, knows that searching is only available at the top level, not at the reactor level. Next time I'll try @kencadby6586's method of adding the reactor name to the search. Thanks !
