I would probably go see them in a stadium however I will always remember standing 10 feet in front of Dany at The Stone Pony last summer. Can’t wait to see them again.

It’s amazing how many fans have Pau as their favorite of the ladies. No problem with that but I love Dany’s voice. They are coming out with a new album soon and I keep on hoping Ale will sing lead on a song. I know she hates to sing lead so it probably won’t happen. Now I’m rambling. There’s something you need to consider about this song to have the perspective and understand how good they are: this performance is from 2023, last year, but the song was written, recorded and performed in 2018, when they were just 13, 15 and 17 years old, still kids writing, performing and recording a conceptual rock album!! And they already used to tour across several cities of the USA at small dens! 😅
The quality of the music and lyrics is so mature. They are so polished that its not work for them and they can simply enjoy what they are doing. At 57 I heard them for the first time doing "Error" and I was completely addicted.
I imagine its impossible not to smile, when you are doing what you love, and what you love has thousands of people joining in with you. To be living your dream, fulfilling life long goals by playing music you created and having the audience fully bought in…..that is something special. Add in the fact that this is in Mexico City. In your home country, where initially you were looked down upon, called a cultural traitor, because you composed your songs in English rather than Spanish. Just last night I listened to Operation Mindcrime from Queensryche, because in my head I really have to listen to something but the Warning its getting nuts, and those dark heavy drums create that environment of dread.

What I love about The Warning is that they are so versatile and always sound great. They can do rock, hard rock, metal, and punk rock. Sometimes they mix all of those subgenres into one song. But this song is just straight metal and, god help me, I can’t get enough of it. I almost wish every one of their songs was like this one.

A really cool aspect of the QOTMS album or cd, is that the lyric book has handwritten lyrics, but as they progress, and the Queen goes mad, the writing gets messier and more frantic, with certain words shouting out from the page. Coffee rings give way to blood splatters.

You really need to listen to the entire Queen of the Murder Scene album (in order) to have the songs make sense. It is a concept album that tells a dark story. Dany, Pau, and Ale wrote it in their basement when they were just 18, 16, and 13 years old. I have no idea how they did it.
I'm glad you decided to react to this epic composition and title track of the concept album. Dany doesn't often choose to include solos but, when she does, they're always beautifully-melodic musical masterpieces in themselves. She NEVER indulges in showy "shredding" for its own sake, which I highly respect. (We've all seen thousands of UA-camrs do that ad nauseum, to show off trying to be the next Eddie Van Halen. YAWN.) Thankfully, Dany is from the rare David Gilmour (Pink Floyd) guitar solo school. She carefully structures them for melodic and emotional impact. The way it SHOULD be. In an interview last year with Allison Hagendorf, she recounted watching Pink Floyd's Pulse Tour concert with her parents and sisters when she was a younger guitarist and seeing/hearing David playing the "Comfortably Numb" solo. She said: "I was feeling so many things!" and "IT DID SOMETHING TO MY SOUL!" So obviously, she was DEEPLY impacted and HEAVILY influenced by David Gilmour. Thank God!

Thanks for staying with The Warning. Yeah, they really do have something special going on. I have to admit that I love Pau & Dany, but something about Ale has grabbed hold of me for sure. Dany is a real goofball who can make a guitar sing. Pau is some cross between Mick Fleetwood and Animal. And Ale is the reserved stage general who keeps everything in line. Yeah, this song is a bit different. But I think The Warning are a bit different. They have taken many different style and forged them into their own sound. A sound that is different from anything else I have found out there today.
The Gibson Explorer that Dany is playing, is the one that was gifted to her by Lzzy Hale ,not long before this , when TW was touring with Halestorm. Lzzy came onstage in the middle of TW set, this is the first song Dany played with it. The word Pau is singing in the pre chorus is Korosu. It's Japanese, and translates to kill or murder. Yes, QOTMS is their 2nd album , and a concept album, released in 2018 when they were 18,16, and 13. If you eventually listed to every song on that album, some were played here, and the entire album was played at Lunario CDMX 2018.
I can feel with you. I'm grown up with Metallica and Iron Maiden. Now i'm 51 and stopped listening to lot of music been married. But after devorst, i start to listen again and find it difficult to get the right bands. The warning is my favorit. But i also like Sabaton, Beyond the Black, Beattle Beast, Amaranthe and Ad Infinitum. All Europian Bands. I'm realy happy to see most of them life, so a happy and good time, been in the growed. Like others have mentioned, Dany doesn't do a lot of solos, but they're pretty memorable when she does. A good example is from the Lunario concert from several years ago, when they were doing the song, 'The End', with Pau singing lead, and Dany comes in with a 'Gilmour-esque' guitar solo that fit the song perfectly! (Yes, they've listened to Pink Floyd as well!) They have so many good influences from the rock icons of the 70's, 80's, and 90's to draw from and then put their unique twist on!🎵🎶🤘😎🤘

In that solo, she is playing the custom Gibson Explorer, hand sourced for her by Lzzy Hale, and presented to her on stage, on tour, by Lzzy to the surprise of Dany, in the middle of a concert, while they were backing up Halestorm. It was a pay it forward moment, as someone had done the same for Lzzy when she was up and coming. Dany’s tech took away her guitar on a regular change, but did not bring out her replacement. Ale lays down a bass line you could build a house on while Pau beats that kit like it owes her money. Dany owns the stage with her great vocals and beautiful guitar riffs. By the way, that Gibson she is playing was gifted to her by Lizzy Hale, on stage, when they were opening for Halestorm in '22. Lizzy knows!
A really cool aspect of the QOTMS album or cd, is that the lyric book has handwritten lyrics, but as they progress, and the Queen goes mad, the writing gets messier and more frantic, with certain words shouting out from the page. Coffee rings give way to blood splatters.
On their channel, vlogs #23-#25 and#26 talk in order song by song,about the concept, writing and recording of this whole concept albums, written, played and recorded by teenagers.
I don't know how anyone can have a favorite except as a new favorite band they are all so incredible.
You really need to listen to the entire Queen of the Murder Scene album (in order) to have the songs make sense. It is a concept album that tells a dark story. Dany, Pau, and Ale wrote it in their basement when they were just 18, 16, and 13 years old. I have no idea how they did it.
I'm glad you decided to react to this epic composition and title track of the concept album.
Dany doesn't often choose to include solos but, when she does, they're always beautifully-melodic musical masterpieces in themselves. She NEVER indulges in showy "shredding" for its own sake, which I highly respect. (We've all seen thousands of UA-camrs do that ad nauseum, to show off trying to be the next Eddie Van Halen. YAWN.)
Thankfully, Dany is from the rare David Gilmour (Pink Floyd) guitar solo school. She carefully structures them for melodic and emotional impact. The way it SHOULD be.
In an interview last year with Allison Hagendorf, she recounted watching Pink Floyd's Pulse Tour concert with her parents and sisters when she was a younger guitarist and seeing/hearing David playing the "Comfortably Numb" solo. She said: "I was feeling so many things!" and "IT DID SOMETHING TO MY SOUL!"
So obviously, she was DEEPLY impacted and HEAVILY influenced by David Gilmour. Thank God!

@@kevinmcfarlane2752they are very unselfish band members. Dany and Pau have such strong personalities. If not related I could see a power struggle between them. But both have always said they do whatever is right for the band or a song. And have no doubt Ale would mediate any strife within the band
Dany reminds me of David Gilmour in as much she doesn't put one just because. She does it to make sense for the song!

I have to admit that I love Pau & Dany, but something about Ale has grabbed hold of me for sure. Dany is a real goofball who can make a guitar sing. Pau is some cross between Mick Fleetwood and Animal. And Ale is the reserved stage general who keeps everything in line.
Yeah, this song is a bit different. But I think The Warning are a bit different. They have taken many different style and forged them into their own sound. A sound that is different from anything else I have found out there today.

The Gibson Explorer that Dany is playing, is the one that was gifted to her by Lzzy Hale ,not long before this , when TW was touring with Halestorm. Lzzy came onstage in the middle of TW set, this is the first song Dany played with it.
The word Pau is singing in the pre chorus is Korosu. It's Japanese, and translates to kill or murder. Yes, QOTMS is their 2nd album , and a concept album, released in 2018 when they were 18,16, and 13. If you eventually listed to every song on that album, some were played here, and the entire album was played at Lunario CDMX 2018.

I can feel with you. I'm grown up with Metallica and Iron Maiden. Now i'm 51 and stopped listening to lot of music been married. But after devorst, i start to listen again and find it difficult to get the right bands. The warning is my favorit. But i also like Sabaton, Beyond the Black, Beattle Beast, Amaranthe and Ad Infinitum. All Europian Bands. I'm realy happy to see most of them life, so a happy and good time, been in the growed. The warning is a life band. Get tickets for them. 🤘🤟🤘🤘🤟🤘
Like others have mentioned, Dany doesn't do a lot of solos, but they're pretty memorable when she does. A good example is from the Lunario concert from several years ago, when they were doing the song, 'The End', with Pau singing lead, and Dany comes in with a 'Gilmour-esque' guitar solo that fit the song perfectly! (Yes, they've listened to Pink Floyd as well!) They have so many good influences from the rock icons of the 70's, 80's, and 90's to draw from and then put their unique twist on!🎵🎶🤘😎🤘

In that solo, she is playing the custom Gibson Explorer, hand sourced for her by Lzzy Hale, and presented to her on stage, on tour, by Lzzy to the surprise of Dany, in the middle of a concert, while they were backing up Halestorm. It was a pay it forward moment, as someone had done the same for Lzzy when she was up and coming. Dany’s tech took away her guitar on a regular change, but did not bring out her replacement.
