Looks like a solid system and the case is roomy not over the top massive. A reasonable way to get into PC gaming but its still expensive compared to getting a PS5.
Pretty good review you should get a temperature gun as it’s good to see hot spots.
Great review. Very well put together pc. You can tell that took care to build it. Decent price also.
Agree on using the cautious bios settings rather than aggressive settings. Not everyone wants to tune their system and risk instability or slowdowns from cooling headaches.
is this CPU and GPU combo good for 1440p with mix med/high at 60 fps?
Great review mat thanks 👍🏻
Thanks mate. Glad you enjoyed it
Good review there mat. Very thorough. Looks not bad.
Thanks, glad you liked it
How does it compare to your own system in regards to specs ? Seen yours in some of the videos in the background.
Good system. They seem to be doing some good builds. Wish we had them here.
Cracking analysis mat 👍🏻
Thanks
Would build my own but that a good well rounded spec for the price.
Why is it Mat's reviews always come across a decent down to earth. Must be that Brummy accent.
Tidy build. And not too expensive 🤘🏻
Excellent build. They replaced my fathers pc recently with a good system and looked after him throughout all the buying phase n
That's great to hear 👍🏻
Awesome review!!
Thanks!
Quite impressed with their cooling solution not bad benchmarks.
Don't do the coolers sre cheap and nasty
Don't do it the cooker is nothing more than an pcs branded tower cooler from ID cooling they are cheap
It’s a fairly power efficient setup that. 4070 is a pretty decent card for that overall
you guys do the best reviews
Wish you guys would review some USA systems
The PSU could have been a little more beefier limits future GPU upgrades.
good review mat, 4070 is a good sweet spot for me at 1440p
Thanks
Those thermal results are very impressive. Under 36 db idle and around 40 gaming in cyberpunk ? 😮
With the 'out of the box' settings it's pretty quiet and efficient for sure
Good system. Showed it well mat
Glad you enjoyed it!
My friend tried to buy a system last month from pcs but their phones kept disconnecting her. As she wanted to talk to someone about the spec first. Clearly doesn’t trust me 🤦🏻
It’s all come a long way from the beige boxes I remember at tinypc. Yes showing my age 😆
pretty good system, heard their aftercare is pretty good. Last dell system i saw was a mess.
What dell system did you have ?
Always like a PC Speciqlist build generally they do good stuff with decent support.
No they are quite poor actually I worked for them the part choice is limited and cheap most are ugly, and you rarely get the quality of build you see here a they work you like a dog
Good Review thanks. Would You Say this would be a Solid Improvement over my current 3600/5700 XT Build? Been thinking about Upgrading for Ages but just can't Bring Myself to do it!
Thanks Carl! Yeah it would be a pretty big upgrade. Our GPU review data shows that the 4070 will be roughly 85% faster than the 5700XT and the cpu will definitely be a fair bit more powerful too. Then there's the move from DDR4 to DDR5 memory.
Yeah that would be a good upgrade. I did one similar recently. Just a different cpu
good one Mat
Thank you
That's a decent gaming pc!
That i5 is a solid cpu really good value price performance
Yeah it’s a good cpu. Don’t need anymore for gaming
Don't think I could put together a neat build like that.
Shame its only an matx motherboard they should have gone for the b760-plus atx.
Anyone here bought from Pcspecialist ? I’d like to hear how they looked after you. Sometimes reviewers get golden samples.
I have heard these guys are good but can’t comment. Always hard to judge noise levels in a video. Is it quiet enough mat ? Really ?
I found it to be a fairly quiet system while reviewing it - Mat
I prefer to build my own tbh.
A lot of people do. But some don’t have that time anymore.
The power consumption at idle seems a bit much. You can see why Apple moved away from Intel they are just too power hungry.
The industry needs to move away from the 1990's and start using ATX12VO
Я генерал полиции. Я в такие игри не играю
Not a fan of that case.
You look very sad mat. Cheer up.
Not the prettiest looking rig. Decent spec for price
