Can I beat Borderlands 2 on OP10 with only Moxxi weapons?

- Who doesn't love Moxxi? I wanted to see if it was possible to beat the main story on OP10 only using Moxi's guns. Turns out it is definitely possible and I was pleasantly surprised by the results!
This is my first time attempting a commentary challenge type video so any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Also, I realized I missed the Kiss of Death grenade and Chera a mie sniper right at the end of the run. My bad! Run invalid lol??
Just curious but does the Moxxi's Endowment also count?
I mean not invalid, but you missed out on a grenade mod instead of the default grenade
Also the crit. Not that I'd recommend anyone use the crit in bl2.

The Cher Amie is a moxxi sniper obtained from the end of the Hyperion slaughter. I only mention this because it might be helpful for those doing similar runs in future

@@hushex5150 zer0 has the ability to make it pretty good, it's a pretty effective slag tool, not as good as a slag pimpernel, but it can come in handy on specialized runs like this and as a general change of pace. Also the percent healing is never not a plus

The Heart Breaker has to be my favourite shotgun of all time, it's just so easy to crit with it and it only uses 1 bullet per shot despite the amount of damage your doing and of course as a moxxi weapon it heals on top of all that.
Tbh it has to be one of the best Hyperion guns for normal and true vault hunter mode but with all characters it’s very fun😂

@@marcopolo8584 You can get an Interfacer at level 50, bro. The Seraph vendor in the Hunter's Lodge actually sells Interfacers in TVHM. You can farm seraph crystals in UVHM, switch back to TVHM, buy an Interfacer for your level 50 character and use the stash to transfer it.
But there’s a Moxxi grenade mod, it’s called the “kiss of death”

The creamer is actually insanely strong if used properly with the correct parts/prefix. By far one of my favorite launchers
Captain Flynt, in my experience, is the fight that everybody says “how bad could it be” and not 5 minutes later are they saying “it’s a lot of not good, i’m in pain and eternal suffering, god is dead, and Flynt killed him.”
It always is surprising how much damage immunity he gets with the fire. No other boss feels that bad to play against. And he is literally the third boss.

His boss fight was a NIGHTMARE for me when I first fought him.
Not to mention I think he's crit resistant too

Moxxi has a unique grenade mod you could've used though.

I super enjoyed the video. You're very funny, had good cuts, and it didn't stretch too long on certain parts. I feel like the beginning did feel long and dragged on a bit but the second half was very good on timing and didn't feel rushed or long. I really hope you continue making videos

The Creamer can do quite a bit of damage if you are the perfect distance away from the enemies just where the rocket splits to 2 rockets.
Yes, this essentially triples the damage.

Moxxie weapons and Salvador how would they work together?
Gunzerking with two Moxxies does the healing stack or is just the greater heal applied?

Yes, the healing stacks. Salvador with 2 Kittens and a Hoarder COM is really fun.
And if you have a Grog Nozzle in one hand you’re slagging enemies as well, for even *MORE* damage, which then becomes even more healing!

The Moxxi weapons are underrated. My favourite being the heartbreaker.

Everyone and their mother uses Grog Nozzle. Most know that the Creamer, Kitten, Hail, and Heart Breaker are great too.
I'd only consider them underrated if they weren't popular, but they are popular, so they're definitely not underrated lol
ive commented saying "a moxxi weapon only run would be sweet"on a few other challenge runs, awesome to see someone do it
Nice run. I think that Sal might have been the optimal pick for damage. Off-handing the Grog gives a 300% type B crit modifier to all damage delt. So using any gun that can crit would have been able to do pretty good damage. Combined with the overpowered nature of money shot chains.
Maya is absolutely the safest jack-of-all-trades character though. Good survivability, decent damage and great crowd control.
Krieg would have been a bloodbath though.
Slow Hand with Kreig would've been easier, the Hail is pretty bonkers with him also, Creamer becomes usable (you're not supposed to actually shoot at the enemies with it, just along side or over them), and the bladed Grog makes you damn near invincible. The Hail is top tier on Axton, anything is good on Sal, the Heartbreaker would be good on Gaige but boring. The more I think about it you might have made the worst character choice there is except maybe for Zer0, nice!
I was thinking the mechromancer or krieg would have been better both have abilities that damage modify off hits. Mechros anarchy would tank accuracy but ricochets would practically home in. Kriegs sub class basses on fire or elemental work great with the good and bad touch.

There were several other Moxxi weapons you could of used to help you out on the challenge… Chere-amie sniper rifle, her grenade mod, the Crit SMG is really good too but it has that dumb effect where it falls out of your hands.

The hail is a really strong weapon, Krieg too can get a good use out of it.
The heart breaker is a better shotgun than the slow hand, better ammo consumption, faster reload, but has the fatal flaw of being fire only.
Anyway, your run would have probably been a much easier if you had chosen the bee as a shield, but it would have been uninteresting too.
Being a mostly sniper only zero player the chere amie is beautiful a healing sniper is a godsend w chainlightning

I’ve done this many times the kitten and slow hand are absolutely god like on the right character especially Krieg I would destroy everything especially with his ability of fire and crazy fast fire rate
I honestly forget just how many moxi shit there is.
I did my first playthrough with Maya and honestly I found most of the guns and smgs options in particular in BL2 at the lower levels to be quite bad and it made the game not enjoyable. The moxis fire and corrosive smgs are kinda what saved the game for me. Especially since you can obtain more current lvl ones by tipping more ( I think ? been a while..)

if you jump onto the railing and onto the lower roof of the ship you can get onto big bertha and kill it without it able to hurt you

At the beginning what was that Salvador’s weapons, I saw the moxie pistol but what was that shotgun and SMGS/Rifles, plus what was that build, and items/shields/class mod do they use?

its a shame why they dont keep this as a staple in all the games, waiting to max lvl to get moxxies vibra pulse, because that gun on nisha smashed most of end game, and in wonderlands their nowhere to be found, even though the COV weapons from BD3 are in wonderlands yet that makes zero sense since it takes place way before BD3, yet not a maliwan weapon in sight nor people youd think would be in wonderlands like moxie who is in every borderlands game
