I liked Sasuke's hand wings. For me they were kinda symbolic of how he is using an untrue power to achieve greatness. Also kinda liked how he limited the use of the curse mark overall as a way of saying he is lessening his reliance on orochimaru and others. That said I also didn't like the abruptness of him losing it either. I would have preferred him slowly using it less and less until he removed it himself at the end of his personal growth.
Also him becoming Team Taka, him losing his demon hand wings just felt wrong. He shed his snake skin(Hebi) to become a HAWK (Taka). Also lost his wings. Man I really wanted to see him be able to perform giant jutsus with his large hand wings or something. Maybe shooting Chidori streams, Chidori Senbon through their finger tips while flying effortlessly, firing them with each flap. So much lost opportunities

Curse mark didn't get abandoned; Boruto ripped it off an calls it the Karma. Orochimaru puts himself in the curse marks for respawning; Otsusuki put Karma on people for respawning. Cursemark grants you massive power passively; karma grants you massive power passively. They just rebranded it and acted like it was new. I think Orochimaru is Shibai. I think that how they alluded to, "you think this is the first time your world's reality has been rewritten?" I believe it will be revealed that somehow Shibai came to Earth, wrote himself in using Shinjutsu. I'll take my foil hat off now

yeah, it's definitely disappointing that we never got to see Anko's Curse Mark Mode 1 or 2 until it was used as a plot device to bring Orochimaru back. She was the first person to have the Curse Mark, and it would have been interesting to see a good guy utilizing a power-up typically associated with villains. There was so much potential there. And it's also frustrating that Jugo's Curse Mark 2 wasn't included in any of the Storm games, even though it was used multiple times in the canon.
To be fair. The curse mark is half Multiplier half Flat buff. It does grow with it'd user to a degree and it does also take a portion of said users chakra to turn into senjutsu. So it does actually grow with it's user. But at a much smaller rate than it's user. Well in Sasuke's case anyways.
@JamesHigh-ji8wf It will always be like a 20% buff no matter how strong the user. Hence it is a partial multiplier. But the added like 500 power it also gives. Is really good for a level 50. But a level 50,000 would hardly notice. Still it doesn't matter if you're a 10 or a 10,000. That 20% multiplier will always be 20% of your power being converted into Senjutsu. Most power scales I know do 2 things. Misunderstand abilities. And exaggerate the differences between part 1 and 2 power levels.
The TLDR of this is actually that the Curse Mark doesn't have any unique abilities from person to person, but rather the sage transformation it induces is different. Each user just amplifies their existing abilities, but they may gain extra utility from the specifics of their transformation.
Sakon/Ukon curse mark second stage was the best, pretty broken too. An enemy who can merge with your body? Love it. I like also the armor that comes out after he was split in two by the "sotoro" or "two-headed wolf". I love sakon/ukon design, the fight with kiba too, especially the fast thinking and react of kiba when ukon merged with his body.
Sasuke should have got some curse power's back when Juugo gives some of his flesh to save him during the battle against KillerBee. It would have been the perfect oportunity.
Will say, it's not that Ukon couldn't stay split from sakon for long per say...mans just has terrible stamina since Sakon's the guy mostly being active. So if Ukon was in charge, he'd be tired rather quick.
I think getting rid of the cursed mark as a whole was really bad for Sasuke, not only because his power jumps way higher suddenly from acquiring MS and EMS, but also because after that he doesn't have an equivalent for Naruto's KCM. I've seen another video of yours talking about why Sasuke doesn't have a Susano'o cloak like Naruto has, and the reasons there are plausible of course, but he wouldn't need a cloak if he had the cursed mark. Maybe after taking Orochimaru out of it thanks to Itachi, Sasuke learns how to use it again and it's slightly different, or not really lol, but like in a more purefied way. It could work as his own type of sage mode and keep him with a distinct look alongside Naruto. Maybe he'd become too powerful with it, but you could say the mark lost some power after Orochimaru is dead, so he'd ended being the same anyway

yeah, getting rid of the cursed mark did have its drawbacks for Sasuke. It gave him a significant power boost with the Mangekyou Sharingan and Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan, but he doesn't have an equivalent to Naruto's Kurama Chakra Mode. While having the cursed mark could have provided him with a unique power like a Susano'o cloak, it's also possible that after removing Orochimaru from it, Sasuke could have learned to use it again in a purified way, perhaps as his own version of sage mode. However, it's also worth considering that the cursed mark might have lost some of its power after Orochimaru's demise, so Sasuke might have ended up in a similar position regardless.

Jugo is a favorite character of mine, his connection to Kimimaro is cool and makes sense, would've been neat if he showed up in part 1 but I guess he wasnt quite a concept, and the Curse mark was kept more mysterious it seemed like some forbidden power Orochimaru made himself perhaps
I've personally always looked at CM2 like a Kakuja from Tokyo Ghoul. The way Jugo seems to just create whatever he wants and seemingly regenerate is very similar. Makes me wonder if the others could've done the same at some point if they managed to gain control, the same way Sasuke could sprout wings.
Unlike Jugo, they can't really control how their body changes even for sasuke. Well sasuke was able to change one of his wings for snakes but that was through his snake jutsu he learnt from orochimaru. Only Jugo and his clan, the original users of the sage transformation, can control the changes to their body.

In my opinion, Sasuke and Kidomaru. Both descendants from Kaguya, both with calm and chill personalities, both with special Kekkei Genkai from their clans that allows them unique abilities. And their curse marks look so cool Tayuya’s is okay, but everyone else’s looked weird.

During the Jugo portion you stated propeller several timnes. Not propeller, but propulsion exhausts. We also can't forget his pistons. These added a lot of power to some attacks.
The curse seal isn't giving them different abilities. It's warping their already present latent abilities. Sasuke's latent ability is Susanou, thus, he sprouts Susanou's hands. Kidoumaro grows another spider eyeball and gets better webs. Sakon's ability is "possession," thus he becomes more Oni-like. Tayuya is based on spirit of the forest, hence flute and deer horns. Jirobu is just some stupid ogre who becomes ogre-like. Jugo is just unlimited potential, but then you have oddball Kimimaro, that really doesn't have much theming beyond bone growth, so it's hard to push him past that, so... kangaroo?

Sage Mode's Nature chakra is propotional to one's chakra and stamina level, therefore, a multiplier. The ammount of chakra earned should be expected to be about the same amount of the original chakra, therefore, doubles the chakra. However, statements like Jiroubo's indicates that it would be much more than 2 times more chakra. Perhaps there is something special about the curse seal that makes it's chakra dynamics be different, and it permits more natural chakra to be gathered without turning the person into a petrified animal. Still, I see no statement that rules out the chance of it beeing indeed a chakra multiplier .
The presence of Orochimaru's chakra in the curse mark allows he sage chakra boost to the user be higher than the user's original power. The user's chakra + Orochimaru's chakra + nature energy. So if the user's original chakra pool could ump them 3 times, orochimaru's chakra increases the chakra pool that the nature energy is added to...

For the most part, they all seem to just change your appearance and give you a power boost. It seems the only curse mark with any additional abilities is Sasuke’s. It’s as if Orochimaru was getting closer to replicating Jugo’s abilities, a feat that Kabuto later accomplished. Again all the additional powers are just more advanced versions of thier standard skill set. This leads me to believe that they would had naturally developed the skills if they had lived or trained long enough.

Kimimaro scenes shows him effortlessly switching back and forth between normal chakra mode and curse mode. Of course this was before his illness but had he survived longer who knows how much further his abilities would have developed.
First of all, most of those are less "special curse mark abilities" and more like things they couldn't do without their curse marks because they weren't strong enough without it. So, hypothetically, they could've used them without ever getting curse marks if they just got stronger another way. And I think it's reasonable to assume that Tayuya can't use genjutsu while controlling her summons, I would assume it's not easy to play two songs at the same time on one flute, so she could use genjutsu without the curse mark, but it boosts the genjutsu's strength, so she waited to use it until she was in stage 2. And I think the thing about Sakon and Ukon usually being together is more because they're so used to being merged, so Ukon isn't as good at moving around on his own, and again, the ability to merge with somebody else is probably more complicated than them merging together, so they can't do it normally, but a stronger user of the same kekkei genkai wouldn't need a curse mark to do that. Really, the only things that I think is strictly reliant on the curse mark is Sasuke flying because he grows wings. And Jugo's transformations, because they also change his body significantly enough. Everything else is just a matter of not having enough strength/chakra to do, and the curse mark gives enough of a boost to make those techniques usable. And that's not even getting into the differences between the actual curse marks and Jugo's kekkei genkai and how they work.
I think Sakon and Ukon are really underrated as far as part 1 Naruto goes. Imagine having an ability that allowes you to split into two beings that probably each have more Chakra than your initial combined form and just the ability to attack from two different directions is probably extremely troublesome even for many jonin level characters at this time. I loved when actual ninja stuff was going on.
I really have no idea why Sasuke wasn’t able to keep it or why Kishimoto didn’t let him keep it. It was essentially a shortcut for Sasuke to achieve sage mode that it be a bootleg version, but still and it would have played into the trope of Naruto perfectly. Sasuke essentially gets handed sage mode and he doesn’t have to work that hard or train in order to master or achieve this bootleg version of sage mode and that’s why it’s a bootleg version. Meanwhile, Naruto actually trains and put a lot of hard work and effort into it and actually turns out to be a perfect sage. Like, it would have fit perfectly on how sage mode would also be one of the many things Naruto finally surpassed Sasuke in.

I always thought kidomaru was the coolest of the sound 4(5?) the crazy bow jutsu and his design is just so cool and unique, I like how he creatively makes the arrows into different shapes for different purposes, making a drill like arrow for more spin and penetration to fight neji through the trees in the forest, and adding a thread of webs to the end so he can guide his arrows (though that ended up backfiring). He fought really nasty and unfair, using summons and all sorts of traps to probe for weaknesses, like a true long ranged specialist ninja should.
As this man was explaining how characters were to use more powerful jutsus when they're in their second stage of the curse marks became a pattern. So in other words the curse mark must allow the user to use less chakra to use Jitsu's that requires a lot of chakra. Not only that but the Jitsu's and their effects are amplified.
Jugo may have been a retcon of the curse mark but they went all out with it. Complete mental instability, the ability to morph his body into blades, extendo arms, rockets and cannons. So while it was a retcon, they did it right
Sasukes 2nd state is by far the best looking deign. The lengthy dark blue hair, grey skin with his sharp nails and teeth and his wings. The only thing that occurred to me is sasukes mark on his nose
One thing you kinda get wrong about the curse mark it's orochimaru's senjutsu chakra being exchanged for the users chakra. The whole point of the curse mark is to find compatible people for orochimaru to body swap with. He needs a body compatable with his senjutsu chakra since his original body wasn't hence his snake form. Remember for snake senjutsu the snake sage bites you and injects nature chakra and if you incompatible you turn into a snake. People only ever use orochimarus snake techniques if they have a curse mark. Probably also why sakon/ukon have to be stage 2 to use rashamon need more of orochimarus chakra vs a simple snake technique.
I think with the exception of the extra limbs and a little extra strength, the curse mark is really just a chakra battery. In my interpretation all these people could do all these things in base, but dont have the chakra to maintain it.

Your comment at the end of Jugo using the curse mark is wrong. Jugo never ever used a curse mark, the people using curse mark are the ones using his abilities instead. It's also called Sage Transformation which he uses the nature energy he absorbs and a special enzyme he secrets to alter his body and form the special 'appendages'. Orochimaru added Jugo's genes(His flesh) to the curse mark so that the boost the user of the curse mark gets will have nature energy to it, making them have the cursed mode witch is a type of sage mode.
Lightning is Kakashi's primary nature. He doesn't want to use rasengan since he couldn't add a nature to it. Then he developed chicory. Then raikiri, and upgrade to chidori.

Cursemark grants you massive power passively; karma grants you massive power passively. They just rebranded it and acted like it was new. I think Orochimaru is Shibai. I think that how they alluded to, "you think this is the first time your world's reality has been rewritten?" I believe it will be revealed that somehow Shibai came to Earth, wrote himself in using Shinjutsu. I'll take my foil hat off now

yeah, it's definitely disappointing that we never got to see Anko's Curse Mark Mode 1 or 2 until it was used as a plot device to bring Orochimaru back. She was the first person to have the Curse Mark, and it would have been interesting to see a good guy utilizing a power-up typically associated with villains. There was so much potential there. And it's also frustrating that Jugo's Curse Mark 2 wasn't included in any of the Storm games, even though it was used multiple times in the canon.
To be fair. The curse mark is half Multiplier half Flat buff.
It does grow with it'd user to a degree and it does also take a portion of said users chakra to turn into senjutsu.

Still it doesn't matter if you're a 10 or a 10,000. That 20% multiplier will always be 20% of your power being converted into Senjutsu.
Most power scales I know do 2 things.
Misunderstand abilities. And exaggerate the differences between part 1 and 2 power levels.

The TLDR of this is actually that the Curse Mark doesn't have any unique abilities from person to person, but rather the sage transformation it induces is different. Each user just amplifies their existing abilities, but they may gain extra utility from the specifics of their transformation.
Sakon/Ukon curse mark second stage was the best, pretty broken too. An enemy who can merge with your body? Love it. I like also the armor that comes out after he was split in two by the "sotoro" or "two-headed wolf". I love sakon/ukon design, the fight with kiba too, especially the fast thinking and react of kiba when ukon merged with his body.
Tayuya is the best character in the naruto series.. Even her curse mark stages are the coolest.

Will say, it's not that Ukon couldn't stay split from sakon for long per say...mans just has terrible stamina since Sakon's the guy mostly being active. So if Ukon was in charge, he'd be tired rather quick.
I think getting rid of the cursed mark as a whole was really bad for Sasuke, not only because his power jumps way higher suddenly from acquiring MS and EMS, but also because after that he doesn't have an equivalent for Naruto's KCM. I've seen another video of yours talking about why Sasuke doesn't have a Susano'o cloak like Naruto has, and the reasons there are plausible of course, but he wouldn't need a cloak if he had the cursed mark.
Maybe after taking Orochimaru out of it thanks to Itachi, Sasuke learns how to use it again and it's slightly different, or not really lol, but like in a more purefied way. It could work as his own type of sage mode and keep him with a distinct look alongside Naruto. Maybe he'd become too powerful with it, but you could say the mark lost some power after Orochimaru is dead, so he'd ended being the same anyway

yeah, getting rid of the cursed mark did have its drawbacks for Sasuke. It gave him a significant power boost with the Mangekyou Sharingan and Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan, but he doesn't have an equivalent to Naruto's Kurama Chakra Mode. While having the cursed mark could have provided him with a unique power like a Susano'o cloak, it's also possible that after removing Orochimaru from it, Sasuke could have learned to use it again in a purified way, perhaps as his own version of sage mode. However, it's also worth considering that the cursed mark might have lost some of its power after Orochimaru's demise, so Sasuke might have ended up in a similar position regardless.

I've personally always looked at CM2 like a Kakuja from Tokyo Ghoul. The way Jugo seems to just create whatever he wants and seemingly regenerate is very similar. Makes me wonder if the others could've done the same at some point if they managed to gain control, the same way Sasuke could sprout wings.
Unlike Jugo, they can't really control how their body changes even for sasuke. Well sasuke was able to change one of his wings for snakes but that was through his snake jutsu he learnt from orochimaru. Only Jugo and his clan, the original users of the sage transformation, can control the changes to their body.
Tayuya is #1 in my heart. Wish she had just been captured and changed into a leaf shinobi by anko.

The curse seal isn't giving them different abilities. It's warping their already present latent abilities. Sasuke's latent ability is Susanou, thus, he sprouts Susanou's hands. Kidoumaro grows another spider eyeball and gets better webs. Sakon's ability is "possession," thus he becomes more Oni-like. Tayuya is based on spirit of the forest, hence flute and deer horns. Jirobu is just some stupid ogre who becomes ogre-like. Jugo is just unlimited potential, but then you have oddball Kimimaro, that really doesn't have much theming beyond bone growth, so it's hard to push him past that, so... kangaroo?

Sage Mode's Nature chakra is propotional to one's chakra and stamina level, therefore, a multiplier. The ammount of chakra earned should be expected to be about the same amount of the original chakra, therefore, doubles the chakra. However, statements like Jiroubo's indicates that it would be much more than 2 times more chakra. Perhaps there is something special about the curse seal that makes it's chakra dynamics be different, and it permits more natural chakra to be gathered without turning the person into a petrified animal. Still, I see no statement that rules out the chance of it beeing indeed a chakra multiplier .
The presence of Orochimaru's chakra in the curse mark allows he sage chakra boost to the user be higher than the user's original power. The user's chakra + Orochimaru's chakra + nature energy. So if the user's original chakra pool could ump them 3 times, orochimaru's chakra increases the chakra pool that the nature energy is added to...

For the most part, they all seem to just change your appearance and give you a power boost. It seems the only curse mark with any additional abilities is Sasuke’s. It’s as if Orochimaru was getting closer to replicating Jugo’s abilities, a feat that Kabuto later accomplished. Again all the additional powers are just more advanced versions of thier standard skill set. This leads me to believe that they would had naturally developed the skills if they had lived or trained long enough.

Kimimaro scenes shows him effortlessly switching back and forth between normal chakra mode and curse mode. Of course this was before his illness but had he survived longer who knows how much further his abilities would have developed.

First of all, most of those are less "special curse mark abilities" and more like things they couldn't do without their curse marks because they weren't strong enough without it. So, hypothetically, they could've used them without ever getting curse marks if they just got stronger another way. And I think it's reasonable to assume that Tayuya can't use genjutsu while controlling her summons, I would assume it's not easy to play two songs at the same time on one flute, so she could use genjutsu without the curse mark, but it boosts the genjutsu's strength, so she waited to use it until she was in stage 2. And I think the thing about Sakon and Ukon usually being together is more because they're so used to being merged, so Ukon isn't as good at moving around on his own, and again, the ability to merge with somebody else is probably more complicated than them merging together, so they can't do it normally, but a stronger user of the same kekkei genkai wouldn't need a curse mark to do that. Really, the only things that I think is strictly reliant on the curse mark is Sasuke flying because he grows wings. And Jugo's transformations, because they also change his body significantly enough. Everything else is just a matter of not having enough strength/chakra to do, and the curse mark gives enough of a boost to make those techniques usable. And that's not even getting into the differences between the actual curse marks and Jugo's kekkei genkai and how they work.

I think Sakon and Ukon are really underrated as far as part 1 Naruto goes. Imagine having an ability that allowes you to split into two beings that probably each have more Chakra than your initial combined form and just the ability to attack from two different directions is probably extremely troublesome even for many jonin level characters at this time. I loved when actual ninja stuff was going on.
I really have no idea why Sasuke wasn’t able to keep it or why Kishimoto didn’t let him keep it. It was essentially a shortcut for Sasuke to achieve sage mode that it be a bootleg version, but still and it would have played into the trope of Naruto perfectly. Sasuke essentially gets handed sage mode and he doesn’t have to work that hard or train in order to master or achieve this bootleg version of sage mode and that’s why it’s a bootleg version. Meanwhile, Naruto actually trains and put a lot of hard work and effort into it and actually turns out to be a perfect sage. Like, it would have fit perfectly on how sage mode would also be one of the many things Naruto finally surpassed Sasuke in.

I always thought kidomaru was the coolest of the sound 4(5?) the crazy bow jutsu and his design is just so cool and unique, I like how he creatively makes the arrows into different shapes for different purposes, making a drill like arrow for more spin and penetration to fight neji through the trees in the forest, and adding a thread of webs to the end so he can guide his arrows (though that ended up backfiring). He fought really nasty and unfair, using summons and all sorts of traps to probe for weaknesses, like a true long ranged specialist ninja should.

As this man was explaining how characters were to use more powerful jutsus when they're in their second stage of the curse marks became a pattern. So in other words the curse mark must allow the user to use less chakra to use Jitsu's that requires a lot of chakra. Not only that but the Jitsu's and their effects are amplified.

One thing you kinda get wrong about the curse mark it's orochimaru's senjutsu chakra being exchanged for the users chakra. The whole point of the curse mark is to find compatible people for orochimaru to body swap with. He needs a body compatable with his senjutsu chakra since his original body wasn't hence his snake form. Remember for snake senjutsu the snake sage bites you and injects nature chakra and if you incompatible you turn into a snake. People only ever use orochimarus snake techniques if they have a curse mark. Probably also why sakon/ukon have to be stage 2 to use rashamon need more of orochimarus chakra vs a simple snake technique.
I think with the exception of the extra limbs and a little extra strength, the curse mark is really just a chakra battery.
In my interpretation all these people could do all these things in base, but dont have the chakra to maintain it.

Your comment at the end of Jugo using the curse mark is wrong. Jugo never ever used a curse mark, the people using curse mark are the ones using his abilities instead. It's also called Sage Transformation which he uses the nature energy he absorbs and a special enzyme he secrets to alter his body and form the special 'appendages'.
Orochimaru added Jugo's genes(His flesh) to the curse mark so that the boost the user of the curse mark gets will have nature energy to it, making them have the cursed mode witch is a type of sage mode.
I never liked the idea that the rasengan is just better than the chidori because kakashi can do both and still consistently chooses the chidori
Lightning is Kakashi's primary nature. He doesn't want to use rasengan since he couldn't add a nature to it. Then he developed chicory. Then raikiri, and upgrade to chidori.
