You need to hit the download button on your computer app for the playlist. Then when on your phone you need to go into settings and turn on local files as well. Then you will be able to download the songs. A couple of steps were missing in this video.

I don’t believe it does as Spotify only includes files that are part of its official library. Great question.

Hello quick question! I actually got this to work (thank u!) but I’m a little sad the song doesn’t have a thumbnail photo the way yours does? Did I miss a step or do I need to do something else to make it have a thumbnail? Thank u for your help btw!

Actually I found an easier way with your phone only (Android):
1.Go to settings and enable local files in Spotify.
2.Allow photos and videos in the settings of the Spotify app on your phone.
3.Voilà. (Normally, it worked on my Samsung)

First of all, you have to use the spotify app on the computer, not the web version. Secondly you have to turn on the all settings from the LIBRARY section. Then it should pop up :)
