Loving your videos about the Basecamp. All the little things you go into details that no one ever talks about like 'how to shower'. Sounds crazy but when you are about to buy your first caravan, it is super useful, so thank you.
@@LauMagroTheFrenchKOInection more and more every time we use it. It has opened the doors to adventures we would have never experienced had we not bought it.
@Rab Mcleod I love the bc 3. I actually prefer it to the motorhome, but it really depends what experience you're looking for and what size motorhome you have. I like the freedom of unhitching the caravan and being able to head away in the car. We were in France last year and just could not find parking for the mh in one city, so after endless driving around, we had to head back to camp. I am super happy with our choice. The space is similar, once you factor out the cab space. Good luck and choose wisely.
Appreciate taking us through this. Wife and I; we were thinking that exterior water tank was some sort of a water filter lol .. Now it all makes sense. We call your bathroom a Wet-Bath. Man
Thank you for sharing, the more experience you become and share about the caravan and the camping spots, the more myself and my wife learn about it too, before we buy one. Greetings from Kilkenny, Ireland.
Great video, I'd recommend having a look at one of those StoneStream showerheads. They save loads of water (work on electric and normal showers) and have much better pressure than the standard showers.
You buy the aqua roll separately as part of a stater kit if you buy a brand new one. However if your buy a used one like we did you will find all the accessories are included. Saving a small fortune!
@@FlyCampCaravanNorthWales its not guaranteed that you get extras included when you buy a second hand caravan ( Base Camp or any make … ) its certainly unusual when buying second hand from a dealer unless the previous owners have given up caravanning and left a few bits and then often a dealer removes them to sell separately. Buying privately you are more likely to get extras such as elec lead, water roller, step etc and maybe an awning if really lucky but if the owner is buying another caravan they usually hang onto all of their equipment. You were lucky but it’s certainly not always the case.
Good video just found it a bit annoying the number of times you said ‘the base camp ‘ as the shower is basically the same as most other caravans and space in the bathroom the same as most other wet rooms , not just a Basecamp model. Sorry to moan though x
@@TheSgtsMess yes i did get that but it was the number of times he said ‘ The Basecamp’ other vloggers dont say ten plus times.. ‘ on the Bailey Unicorn’ or ‘in the Swift Challenger’ it just grates after four or five times and theres still another several’ in the Base Camp’s’ to follow but good review and just my point of view .

@@ursamajor6546 well that is a good point , i actually love the look of them but we are getting old and like a bit more space and comfort but if we were younger it would be different. Id still just call it ‘the caravan’ though 😂😂 Stay safe x

Thanks for the feedback😎. I’ve been crafting the content that was not there when we where looking to buy the Basecamp.
@@FlyCampCaravanNorthWales excellent content indeed. Simple,.clear, straight to the point. Still loving your Basecamp?

@@FlyCampCaravanNorthWales camping does 🤩 we are looking buying one after having a campervan for 5 years.
Yes your Basecamp videos fascinate me too and I don't even have that model of c'van.
And such thorough washing and drying information too 👍
We have just bought our first basecamp 2. Decided to go smaller after selling our motorhome. These tips are very useful. Thanks so much!!
Enjoy your new BC 😎

I’ll check that out… thanks for suggestion.
great and informative keep up the good work
Thanks for sharing. One thing I noticed when I viewed one of these, was the silicone seals were not great. It put me off getting one.
Intresting. Which seals where you looking at? We’ve had no issues with ours. So far so good.
By the way, you have very nice campsites there in England !
Does the Aqua roll come as standard with the Basecamp or do you buy that separately.
