Great video Emily. I used to study animal care, unfortunately just as I finished the course the recession happened and I couldn’t find a job in that field. So I’ve ended up working in retail, I would still love to work with animals in some way not sure what though. Hope you have a nice weekend. 🙂
That must have been a great course to study! I'm a bit of an advocate for using what you've learnt in your current job and applying it to another field. Have you considered applying for retail roles in zoos/safaris or front desk positions at rescues, then getting to know the animal care team and volunteering with them? That's how I ended up landing an animal keeping job for a while a few years ago, after volunteering a few times while working retail at the same place. Hope your weekend is good too!
@@FeraForus It was a great course to study, I got to learn and interact with different species from cats and dogs, birds such as budgies and cockatiel, rabbits and guinea pigs, reptiles and fish. They also had a farm at the college and I used to help with lambing during that time of year. I’ve never thought of using my retail skills to work in the animal industry, that’s a good idea thanks Emily. Looking forward to your next video.
GREAT PRESENTATION GOOD WORK , i like to know more info for international volunteer who are passionnate by wildlife and taking care of animals how can they applicate for a such jobs. thanks :)

Thanks. I'd suggest contacting local organisations and see if they could use any help
You have a lot of potential but I think you are speaking too fast and possibly also too loud. I think this may put people off
I disagree. She's speaking clearly, politely, and at a normal speed. You know that you can either slow down the video or turn the volume down!?
