@DIO It was not the World's weakspot. Jotaro had broken both of Dio's legs just a few seconds ago and Dio attacked without fully recovering. Also, the leg Jotaro ripped through Dio from was the left leg and Dio himself explained that he recovered slower from the left side of his body since he still has trouble with Jonathan's body. Stands reflect the damage the user sustains so, the world had the same injuries and hadnt recovered when he attacked Jotaro either

It’s funny. JJBA is such a violent and bloody show even in the censored version that I never thought to seek out an uncensored version.
In retrospect the only scenes which I really felt something was “off” among the dio scenes was when dio was punched down the streets to Joseph’s body. They made it so blurry and didn’t seem to fit jjba style.
I think the editors did a really amazing job editing for the censors without ruining the impact of the fight
Hell, toonami in USA even showed anne's backside, so that probably added to my assumption that it was mostly uncensored. I wish they did cause while we dont explicitly get told her age, the story seems to imply she's a teenager, not 18.

Thing is, even uncensored, its pretty tame. In JoJo, gore serves a purpose rather than being the focus. Its not like those super gory animes that are gory for the sake of it. Here it is used much like it was back in DBZ, just a notch gorier. And don't get me wrong, I do enjoy it, the silliness and everything that comes with it.

I just got a thought, but it's not a issue in Jojo. But in most comics movies, etc, there's always that tendency of only characters with regeneration/immortality are the ones that receive an actual damage during a battle so they could use their regenerative powers. Jojo doesn't have this as a big issue because it doesn't need to keep the characters alive during the whole anime. But comics like Marvel/DC where the main characters and villain's needs to be alive during years even when they almost dying every single week.
I hoped for other uncensored dio moments but this seems to be the best i get
Jotaro and Star Platinum can deliver the deadliest and most powerful punches in the entire series, you need some serious force to burst holes into a human body as ripped as DIO.
It safe to assume that Star Platinum holds his punches, or else a single one would have killed anyone fought in part 3!

@@SethAtSNK true, but when Dio stole Jonathan's body, he made sure that Jonathan couldn't use hamon, so he could steal his body safely. Also, DIO said something Jonathan's body not completely accepting DIO's head, even though Dio made sure Jonathan couldn't use hamon.
