Hey man! So I just came into some money and moved to a new house (I'm in Canada too, outside of Ottawa.) I'm ordering an Arcade Legends cabinet tonight and am considering this as well. However, I'd principally want it for the ability to add my own games. I can easily buy a NUC to hook up to the system but you mention a Rachel or VIBS board is necessary to get the back display to work. Where does one acquite those for this machine? The Brick doesn't list one and I can't find anything about it on the AtGames web site either. The box in the video made it look like this is something AtGames does make. Thanks for your help and great video! :)
9 months later, how has it held up? Still enjoying this? I'm about to pull the trigger and get one but some reviews have talked about longevity concerns, thanks.

I grew up playing pinball, and actually owned a mechanical one at one point, which becomes a pain because there always seems to be a mechanical problem that creeps up with it. The idea of having 127 tables and the ability to add more, is just awesome!
Nice shout out to the fam in the intro. Don't feel bad ... I was Wave 3 and just got my DOA unit up and running a few weeks ago. Loving my machine ... worth the wait!
Just quick question. Ball seems to move unnaturally or is s it just illusion on you tube? To me ball looks like it doesn’t fully obey law of physics. Please correct me if I’m wrong.
I absolutely love my ALP! My negatives are the following: needs better exciters, ui and fix the sound issues. When my attract mode plays and then I go into a games the sound is barley audible. Positives are: great 32 inch 1080p screen, wifi for leader boards and updates, the add on tables are amazing , zero flipper lag and much more. Overall, this machine is just so much fun! Love it!
32in 1080p 60fps, backglass screen I like but Atgames logo and marquee could've been replaced by a DMD. I like mine legends pinball and control joystick panel is a good upgrade.
For the price of the at games you could get the grs cab and get a 4K screen. Especially since most at games users are using their own pc to run the games. You are missing out
Nice review Mike. I'm about 2 weeks into owning a ALP. What a great machine. Havent even cracked the surface of all the games. Put my deposite for the controller deck. I think it would make people's jaw drop showing them Galaga on a pinball machine. I give it a 4/5 the sound needs to be dialed in witch is a bummer and the way to upload the new zaccaria tables had me stumped to download and install...good review. I like your channel for sure!

Great review! I’ve owned my ALP about a month and a half now and love it. I also own Arcade1Up’s AFM, and never play it anymore because it just doesn’t feel like pinball compared to ALP.
Well done Mike. Can’t wait for the Taito tables. I had originally thought I’d have to hook up my PC to enjoy this. I didn’t like the idea of poaching my gaming rig to do this. I’ve been pleasantly surprised and find the tables available and future ones to be more then adequate to make this enjoyable. My PC will stay put... for now. 😀
Absolutely best value in DPTs there is currently! I received mine from Sam's Club just a couple weeks ago. Tonight I went to buy one for an early Christmas present for my daughter and her family and they are sold out. A few of the Gottlieb tables are pretty fun. The rest are pretty much also-rans. I went ahead and bought a Zacharria (sp) pack and those are pretty good. You simply can't find a better value right now, for a digital pinball table. Assuming you can find one in stock.
Great review! I can tell you put a lot of work into this and it paid off. Thanks so much! BTW, I have this table too and absolutely love it. I only wish I had more time to devote to playing it. I have had it for a little over 2 weeks and have barely scratched the surface of the games list and all this machine can do!
Nice review. I got the Arcade1up Attack From Mars machine because of the included tables and haven't been disappointed. As good as the AtGames machine is, it just doesn't have the classic tables and I don't want to double the cost of my machine just to get them. Having said that, if and when AtGames brings out another pinball machine sized closer to Arcade1up's machine I'll be first in line to get it.
@@kevgret don't have them on Switch and don't need it. I also don't need another pinball machine right now - my Attack From Mars suits me just fine. But like I said, I might add an AtGames pinball at some point, just not now and probably not the current model.
I always enjoy your reviews and I'm sure they take a long time coming up with the script, music, edits, etc, so thank you for this latest one on the ALP. I am very happy with my ALP so far. When the A1up pinballs were first being introduced, I hemmed and hawed about getting one of those but am glad I held out for my ALP.

I think the reason the slope is exaggerated and the flippers are low is to set you up for the best view of the playfield. Your eyes closer to the mid of the screen.
Thanks, great review! I was very excited about this, but the problem is that I'm more of a modern-pinball fan and aren't really interested in the older mechanical ones. Right now, I have Pinball Arcade on my PS4 and use my PSVR to play pinball and if I could get the same selection of games (Star Trek, Star Trek TNG, Twilight Zone, Attack from Mars, etc, etc) I would seriously buy this as soon as I could justify it to myself. It's ashame, because if they even had the opportunity to add them at say $10 each, I'd have no problems investing in this.
I was going to get this table, but recent non-performance of services issues with AtGames, over an audio lag problem with my Legends Ultimate has forced me to cancel my order. Thanks for the review.
@@MichaelBtheGameGenie Basically, AtGames took over a month to respond to my complaint about audio being delayed by half a second, in all games, all channels. when they finally responded, my warranty expired. Also, they told me to talk to another department. It took another three weeks for that department to respond, telling me to go back to the first department. That department bounced me back to the second one. Finally, a higher-up contacted me, and had me send in a video of the problem. They then denied the problem existed. This went on for nearly three months. They still refuse to look into the problem, and claimed I was "perceiving" the problem. I worked in commercial broadcasting, where I learned how to pick up on audio/video desync issues.
I play a lot of farsight pinball on console, and just know that if I bought this it would be fantastic for a few weeks, but within a few months it would be gathering dust. Same as with VR and wheels. The idea of these more 'immersive' experiences is almost always better than the experience itself.
Great review Michael I’ve had my ALP for about two weeks now it it is truly amazing. I also have marvel and AFM arcade 1up They are very attractive pieces of furniture but seem more like toys now still hope they update AFM such great games deserve it. Really enjoy them all but the legend pinball experience stands out.
I have one. Got it from amazon. Be advised it is very bright. I ended up using some car window tint film over it so it wouldn't hurt my eyes, it was that bright.
Hi I just recently got the atgame legend pinball and I was wondering how to safe shuts it down. I have only found the switch at the bottom of the machine. but it should have a save shut down right or is it a built in feature?
Any update on when The Brick In Ontario will have them ready for pickup? The latest date online shows end of June and it appears other provinces have already got theirs...
Lucky 🍀 you I had to carry it by my self to a 3rd floor without letting it touch the floor since I didn’t want to ruin my beautiful pinball machine 🤯 it was heavy I managed but now I carry resentment towards the machine lol

I have zero interest in this product but glad to watch the review....made me laugh...especially... the extra 8" makes a huge difference or at least that's what my wife says.....lol!! Most people only have 1 or 2 extra inches...not the genie...he's got an extra 8!! Keep up the good work my dude!!!

I would totally pay more if they added a better screen (faster refresh rate) - I play on my gaming PC 144hz monitor and it's butter smooth - IMO 60fps just doesn't cut it for virtual pinball. Also can you add Visual Pinball tables to these? (VP9)

All 99 Tables! Including 2 dozen Star Wars, 2 dozen Marvel, all 6 volumes of Williams Tables including Attack from Mars, and on and on. Then put that VIBS board to use with the above and sell off those ArcadeFluffUp kiddie toys and get something nice for the wife. Cheers!

Michael - thanks for the review. Do you know if Canadian units now come with all the tables like the US ones do now, or if units from The Brick only come with the 22 tables? If I read AtGames US site right it says it comes with 22 built in tables plus Zaccaria 1-4.
My understanding is that these do not come with the extra tables. I had this question too so I emailed ATgames and they confirmed that this promo is only available in the USA when you buy directly from them.

Hi Michael , very helpful information you provide us with , i have many questions to ask you for this machine , no1 do you know where i can get a good deal on this atgames pinball machine , because at the time you posted this video i think the prices for this machine was much much lower then todays prices , I've shop around end the only place i could find this machine is at the brick store for 1.382 $ tax included kind of pricy with all the upgrades i plan to do to it , never the less im still gona buy it, but before i do i just wanted to know if you knew if there was a better deal out there the one at the brick , i live in Montreal , thank you Michael for your time cheers.
Did you ever get one? Unfortunately, prices don't seem to move much on this machine like they do with the A1Up arcades. I think they are about $100 USD off for the holidays here in the US but other than that, they don't get discounted much.
Awesome review! I just recently found your channel and love it. One quick question. We are a middle class family and love pinball, I'm interested in getting this but will definitely have to buy more tables. How much are the tables? Do they come in packs? I say middle class because after a big purchase like this for us how deep are you already in buying more tables? So is it a 700 pinball but getting closer to 1000 now? I worry about that part of this table. I also think it would be cool if you did a short video of the store and what tables are available and how much. Thank for your time have a great day.
Nice review. I enjoy my Legends Pinball. Games look nice and there are so many games to play. I am glad I got one but have to say I seem to enjoy playing my A1up SW a little more. The sound and games are just more fun to me on the SW table but maybe I am in the minority. The user interface on the Legends is just plain awful. I also think the height of Legends is too short. A1up is much more comfortable to play for long periods.
On the atgames legends pinball store. Can you buy the following pinball tables: The Addams family Star trek next generation Twilight zone Black knight 2000 Super Mario Bros
I honestly don’t know why anyone would purchase the 1up except for the artwork and cab. You can play all the tables on Legends and the price differential isn’t that great when you compare all the things Legends has to offer. SMH.
Missing out on the Zen Studios IP, at least through official channels, really leaves a void in the ALP proposition. FarSight Studios and Magic Pixel just aren’t the same. Otherwise, AtGames has a pretty nice product on their hands.
You showed another device you need to use the back glass if using a PC. But what if you are using a Steam Deck? The new Pinball FX was just released on Steam a couple weeks ago. Love playing it on steam deck, even better when docked to my TV. But I'm sure using this table would be even better. Pinball FX does include a cabinet mode. Not sure wtf it does though. I assume it's meant to move the dot matrix to the back glass. I mean I guess I would move my dock near this table. Plug my steam deck in, run the HDmi from dock to table but..... the. What? I don't want the dot matrix on the top left corner of the table. Itll ruin the effect. It needs to be on the back glass.
Nice review. Torn between the options, myself. I like the turn key, easy access of the A1Up AFM, the feel/sound of the solenoids and look of the cab. Plus I'm a fan of the Williams tables. But the graphics are bad and I don't like the limited number of tables. The ALP is an attractive option as I like it's bigger screen and expandability, but I would only use it with OTG Zen tables as I'm not a fan of the Zaccaria tables. So, both a modded AFM or an ALP would require me to either gut my existing gaming pc or buy a new video card for a spare PC to be able to play the Williams/Zen library. Wish AFM was a bit better or ALP had better tables so this would be an easier decision!
Is there any possible way to add William's machines to an AtLegends system? I've got one ordered, after reading not-so-great reviews of the Arcade 1Up tables, but I really need to get my Junkyard on. Any links to how this can be accomplished would be very appreciated.
Why don't all you Legends game pushers get together and put some pressure on ATgames to fix their f'ups after firmware updates instead of pimping out for them. New upg 5.53 turns pinball grey on the originally tables. Can't see it. Support for ATgames is a F'n Joke. Week request for support still not answered on simple things. Be some responsible pushers.

It appears they have one in the works, but it won't be cheap. Right now they have pre-orders.

is spooky deluxe zaccaria preinstalled?
Hi I just recently got the atgame legend pinball and I was wondering how to safe shuts it down. I have only found the switch at the bottom of the machine. but it should have a save shut down right or is it a built in feature?

Lucky 🍀 you I had to carry it by my self to a 3rd floor without letting it touch the floor since I didn’t want to ruin my beautiful pinball machine 🤯 it was heavy I managed but now I carry resentment towards the machine lol
You sold me on this. Only question I have is how many inches high is the front end where you stand? I am 6’2” and worried the buttons will be too low. Thanks!

I have zero interest in this product but glad to watch the review....made me laugh...especially... the extra 8" makes a huge difference or at least that's what my wife says.....lol!! Most people only have 1 or 2 extra inches...not the genie...he's got an extra 8!! Keep up the good work my dude!!!

Can someone tell me why my backglass screen isn't on? The only thing lit is the name at the top of the screen.
Im curious if AG included the rare time when the ball hits the top glass and that sound of glass smack.

I would totally pay more if they added a better screen (faster refresh rate) - I play on my gaming PC 144hz monitor and it's butter smooth - IMO 60fps just doesn't cut it for virtual pinball. Also can you add Visual Pinball tables to these? (VP9)
Can you play up to 4 players ? And can you see your score on the back glass ?
Wish the back glass was screen was slightly bigger & they added a chrome top boarder. The legends lit up marquee definitely needs to go as well.

Michael - thanks for the review. Do you know if Canadian units now come with all the tables like the US ones do now, or if units from The Brick only come with the 22 tables? If I read AtGames US site right it says it comes with 22 built in tables plus Zaccaria 1-4.
My understanding is that these do not come with the extra tables. I had this question too so I emailed ATgames and they confirmed that this promo is only available in the USA when you buy directly from them.

Hi Michael , very helpful information you provide us with , i have many questions to ask you for this machine , no1 do you know where i can get a good deal on this atgames pinball machine , because at the time you posted this video i think the prices for this machine was much much lower then todays prices , I've shop around end the only place i could find this machine is at the brick store for 1.382 $ tax included kind of pricy with all the upgrades i plan to do to it , never the less im still gona buy it, but before i do i just wanted to know if you knew if there was a better deal out there the one at the brick , i live in Montreal , thank you Michael for your time cheers.
Did you ever get one? Unfortunately, prices don't seem to move much on this machine like they do with the A1Up arcades. I think they are about $100 USD off for the holidays here in the US but other than that, they don't get discounted much.

You can adjust that playfield by adjusting the back feet all the way down and the front all the way extended 👍👍👍
Awesome review! I just recently found your channel and love it. One quick question. We are a middle class family and love pinball, I'm interested in getting this but will definitely have to buy more tables. How much are the tables? Do they come in packs? I say middle class because after a big purchase like this for us how deep are you already in buying more tables? So is it a 700 pinball but getting closer to 1000 now? Nice review. I enjoy my Legends Pinball. Games look nice and there are so many games to play. I am glad I got one but have to say I seem to enjoy playing my A1up SW a little more. The sound and games are just more fun to me on the SW table but maybe I am in the minority. The user interface on the Legends is just plain awful. I also think the height of Legends is too short. A1up is much more comfortable to play for long periods.

I honestly don’t know why anyone would purchase the 1up except for the artwork and cab. You can play all the tables on Legends and the price differential isn’t that great when you compare all the things Legends has to offer. SMH.

Missing out on the Zen Studios IP, at least through official channels, really leaves a void in the ALP proposition. FarSight Studios and Magic Pixel just aren’t the same. Otherwise, AtGames has a pretty nice product on their hands.

You showed another device you need to use the back glass if using a PC. But what if you are using a Steam Deck?
The new Pinball FX was just released on Steam a couple weeks ago. Love playing it on steam deck, even better when docked to my TV. But I'm sure using this table would be even better.
Pinball FX does include a cabinet mode. Not sure wtf it does though. I assume it's meant to move the dot matrix to the back glass.
I mean I guess I would move my dock near this table. Plug my steam deck in, run the HDmi from dock to table but..... the. What? I don't want the dot matrix on the top left corner of the table. Itll ruin the effect. It needs to be on the back glass.
Nice review. Torn between the options, myself. I like the turn key, easy access of the A1Up AFM, the feel/sound of the solenoids and look of the cab. Plus I'm a fan of the Williams tables. But the graphics are bad and I don't like the limited number of tables. The ALP is an attractive option as I like it's bigger screen and expandability, but I would only use it with OTG Zen tables as I'm not a fan of the Zaccaria tables. So, both a modded AFM or an ALP would require me to either gut my existing gaming pc or buy a new video card for a spare PC to be able to play the Williams/Zen library. Wish AFM was a bit better or ALP had better tables so this would be an easier decision!
Is there any possible way to add William's machines to an AtLegends system?
I've got one ordered, after reading not-so-great reviews of the Arcade 1Up tables, but I really need to get my Junkyard on.

Why don't all you Legends game pushers get together and put some pressure on ATgames to fix their f'ups after firmware updates instead of pimping out for them. New upg 5.53 turns pinball grey on the originally tables. Can't see it. Support for ATgames is a F'n Joke. Week request for support still not answered on simple things. Be some responsible pushers.
