- While replacing the rad on the MR2 and seeing all the rust under the bonnet, i couldnt leave it as it was.. something had to be done!
I used Bilt Hamber Products, as i have used them before with great results.
The Rust Killer is Called Bilt Hambers Deox Gel:

The Rust Converter is called Hydrate 80:

They also have some great rust inhibitors such as Dynax for treating the box sections etc. Have a look at their website for their extensive range of products. I have no affilaition to Bilt Hamber, just think they are great at what they do!

Oh i almost forgot, I used a Screwfix No-Nonsense product for the top coat, cheap, and seems to do the Job. However, i do like to use Hammerite spray, but i couldn't get hold of any, so got this stuff instead:

Nice job. It’s great seeing the orange turn to black as a morale booster. I only just discovered Bilt Hamber products and so far I’ve used the degreaser and the rust converter and I’m super impressed by them both. I’d previously used jenolite and neutrarust with mixed results but the Bilt Hamber seems to be far better than either. I’m planning on trying some of the Electrox stuff as a primer undercoat for steel wheels and I’m hoping that’ll work well. Time will tell.
We Enjoy watching your channel 👌 Great vibes , We definitely support big time 🥂😎

Just seen you have a channel and have subbed. Viva Las Vegas, miss that place! Appreciate your support buddy!
Good work man!
Exactly the video I wanted to see, thanks. I also have an MR2 Roadster with lots of rust and have been thinking of using Bolt Hamber products. On reflection, do you think the Deox gel was worth it or would it have been better to go straight for the rust converter?
Thanks bud! Always best to remove as much rust as poss. If you can wire wheel most of it off then I guess you could go straight to the converter :) just make sure its all clean and degreased.
Might be an idea to list the products you used? Nice job 👍
I was thinking that as I typed the description. Shall do that now. Thanks
