Nice review! I'm very intrigued by this setup. It could really work for me.

Tops hit Amazon recently, I think I'm gonna give them a shot on my Salsa Chippers. Good review man!

Thanks! I like the loop idea but it just doesn't work with a front bag unless is a sausage style. Stay safe!

Pondering putting this on a monstercross 29er build. Thanks for review

I think the drops is more for long flat-ish gravel sections. I have the kitchen sink (without the loop) with the top and drop grips on my backpacking bike. These grips provide a range of comfort for long rides. On technical tracks, I still want my fingers close to the brake levers on the drops. So, I position my hand a bit closer to the front.

This is a nice option for Audax events this coming season. Not so sure about the grips on the drops though. But the loop is a welcome addition. I hope it doesn't affect the positioning of my Burrito Bag up front.

Nice review. I think they've missed a trick though... Imagine that the loop extends even further forward and that the top rest rubber extends further in towards the loop. Then you would get more of an extended tucked in aero position, and still keep the less aggressive option to boot!

I feel like maybe if you modified two sets of top grips you might be able to do that and have one facing each way. I think this modular system always people to choose. I get what your going for though

@@LockedinCycling potential for a 'Cave of Bad Ideas' style experiment??? 😉😉 Add some Bull Bars to the loop??? That said, and on the other hand they're perhaps a bit too nice to be savagely hacked.

I may look into it more. When I'm bike touring my hands needs more holding options and this looks like a great option. What would be the downside with these bars?

It's kinda a give and take situation. I like them but idk if I wanna pull the trigger on them. I love my stem and seatpost. Maybe. Maybe.... Lol

what brand/size gps mount are you using there? Length? I'm looking at getting this handlebar but my k-edge is super short... it's a combo mount, light on bottom. wahoo elemnt roam.

Have you used traditional TT bars, and if so how do they compare to the Kitchen Sink? I think the idea is interesting, but I can't picture the Kitchen Sink being particularly comfortable for long periods. Seems like you still need to put in some effort with your arms to stay in position, versus a TT bar which supports your forearms to take the load off your arms.

It’s for sure not the same but as mentioned it’s something that u don’t need to tighten or adjust which I’ve heard is an issue, with those been s long loop I see it working for long durations of time

@@SimplicityForGood thought it would help with bar roll, and general cockpit space. The loop just gets in the way. It is too small in diameter to accept my lights, computer, etc without shims . The roots of the loop take up space on the main bar. It is terrible as a low end aero bar. Over all, I do like the bar.

Would this hoop work with a front bag? The option for that kitchen sink bag might limit my front bag options.

why not just shape the bar with ergo tops? Odd.
