- If you haven't experienced bottomless suspension, then it may be tough to grasp just how good these shocks are.
The internal bypass features gives that pillowy feel in the main ride zone; daily drive, easy trails.
The Dual Speed adjustment allows further fine tuning of the daily drive and easy trails by either tightening up the handling, or going for max-comfort, through the LSC dial.
The high speed compression dial gives control over how the suspension handles those hard hits on trail or in the desert. What would normally bottom-out or top-out your suspension, the HSC dial can now prevent that through closing those valves.

I want them for my Gladiator Sport. I’d use it really hard while dropping the kids off at school and driving to work.
Used to have a raptor and I loved the ride on that truck.
Definitely the best way to get close to the ride of a Raptor, you will just need a 2" lift at minimum
Beefy. Nice video. I just wish the rear has some type of bracket or taller links for the Jeep 392 swaybar for relocation, so it's not touching the body of the shocks.
The pleasure is all ours!
Can you explain how to tune it in dune desert off-road
Hey, can you make a video tutorial for setting these up according to your terrain/road? Unfortunately there isn’t much content about it and Fox manuals don’t help much.. i am sure i can get more of my Raptor set up, i just don’t know how..
On the Fox 2.5 and 3.0 with the DSC feature, this provides a low-speed and a high-speed compression adjustment. Everyone feels things differently so adjusting these are going to be based on you specifically. You will have to change this when you're driving on the street and then hitting a trail. And trails constantly change based on the weather and others who go there which will reflect the adjustment.
On the adjustment knobs, we suggest people leave it as is and record how many clips it's set at, test it out as is out of the box on the street and then on a trail. You'll get an idea of how it feels and then adjust it lower or higher based on your comfort desires. On the street, it should be softer but not too soft as you don't want the vehicle to feel loose. On trails and varied terrain, you do want it firmer. Log your information and make adjustments based off of that.
@@ShockSurplus just remember slow speed is shaft speed like slow rollers. Not vehicle speed
Hi were can i but this kits

Would it make sense to run 2.5 elites in front of a gladiator and 3.0s in the rear? Would it benefit since the long wheelbase?
usually if you're going to stagger shocks like that, it would be 3.0s in the front and 2.5s in the rear. 3.0s to provide more comfort and to eat up the high speed terrain better.
I have a 2004 f250 super duty lariat and need a heavy duty shock. Money is an option, but not a big one; i got it to spend
If you're looking for Heavy Duty shocks for like towing and hauling, these are the two we suggest:
www.shocksurplus.com/products/bilstein-b8-5100-monotube-shocks-set-for-1999-2004-ford-f250-super-duty-4wd?variant=39902198792241
www.shocksurplus.com/products/kyb-monomax-monotube-gas-shocks-set-1999-2004-ford-f250-super-duty-4wd
If you're looking at Heavy Duty for off-roading, then we need to know more about your vehicle and what style of off-roading or condition you're driving in.
@@ShockSurplus ok gotcha, so my 2004 f250 superduty is on a 4 inch lift with 35 inch tires and 22in rims. I recently got stationed to New Orleans and the roads here are atrocious. I currently have some pro comp shocks and i still feel every bump in the road. I do no off-roading at all, but the potholes in these roads giving me the off road experience
What would be a direct competitor for a bolt on shock or coilover that would fit a JL. Anything similar performance and cheaper price.
Nothing would be comparable to the 3.0 unless you're going to like a King 3.0. There are other alternatives like 2.5 series which are cheaper that Fox 3.0 are are just capable in various scenarios.
@@ShockSurplus Gotcha, these seem like a great option. Would the king option have a longer stroke than these? Are these quieter than traditional external bypass? Is the Bilstein offering any good?
Would these be overkill for my Bronco? Why is there not much content on the 3.0s? 2.5 is the sweet spot?
Whether it is overkill or not has to do with your preferences and use cases really. The 3.0s can be both more comfortable and significantly higher performing than the 2.5s due to their internal bypass design, so they can make it more livable if you want a nice ride and boogey harder if you like to rip off road. That said most people do not have the budget for 3.0s so the 2.5s are far more popular. Fox really does not send out test sets of their shocks so anybody testing them, usually has to foot the bill which is a little difficult to justify for a lot of people since they more than likely will not running them long term. That said we had a set come back in with a few small defects that we are repairing so we can throw them on our Bronco for testing.
Are there any fox 3.0 for a 2010 ford f350 dually 4x4 I seen 2.5s but was wondering if there was 3.0s available
They do not have Fox 3.0 for your 2010 Ford F350 Dually.
Wish these would be compatible with my UK Ford Ranger Wildtrak as an upgrade……..
We wish so as well but most companies we work with are tuned based on US standard. We don't know much of the UK specs and what changes or maybe they are the same frame just different body.
@@ShockSurplus I’ve asked my local Ford Dealership to find out and to take eyelet measurements when the truck goes in for a service later this year! It’s odd that variance exists between the European/UK Ranger and that of the NA model. My vehicle has raised suspension too!
Can I get them for my regular cab f150?
What year is the F150? They don't make the 3.0 series for every vehicle quite yet but we can check.
I have a 2017 jk w 3.5 inche lift and 35's will this fit ok or no? I have Rough Country but I want to switch and try a different brand.
Fox does not make 3.0s for the JKs but they do have a 2.5 diameter body Factor series set of shocks that uses the same internal bypass design and has dual speed compression adjusters. They come in a length for around 2-4. of lift that should work perfect for you. www.shocksurplus.com/products/fox-2-5-factory-series-internal-bypass-w-dsc-shocks-set-for-2007-2018-jeep-wrangler-4wd-rwd-w-2-5-4-lift
Are this good for towing?
The position sensitive design might mean they may feel a little extra stiff when under a load and sagged out of their ideal ride zone, but depending on how heavy the load is, that might be a good thing.
Bro how these gonna work on Jeep Wrangler high altitude 2022 model with 2inch lift kit and 22’’ tires???? Tell me briefly if not good tell me truth ( at the end i need more comfort at any cost with this model))
Do you have 22" wheels? (not tires) - if so, those are impacting ride quality quite a bit, unless you have a lot more rubber to help. The Fox 3.0 here is one of the nicest shock available and makes a huge difference with the internal bypass.
www.shocksurplus.com/products/fox-3-0-factory-series-bypass-reservoir-adjustable-shocks-set-for-2018-2020-jeep-wrangler-4wd-w-2-3-lift-jl
It's also going to come down to which 2" lift kit you have, and if you have spacers, or full springs. Full 2" lift springs that are soft rate will be a lot different than stock spring and 2in spacers.
Lots go into ride quality, not just the shocks, hope that helped.
Are they available for the 2020 Jeep Gladiator Sport S?

Are these made /will be made for the jk?
Fox has the 2.5 internal bypass for the JK, not the 3.0 though
www.shocksurplus.com/products/fox-2-5-factory-series-internal-bypass-shocks-set-2007-2018-jeep-wrangler-2wd-4wd-w-2-5-4-lift
Wold these fit an jeep jl 2021 stock no lifted ?
No, they are only available in lengths for vehicles wtih 2-3" or 3.5-4.5" of lift. With that said if you feel like you need the performance of a 3.0 shock, you would probably want to pair them with at least a little bit of lift to get a little more useable travel anyway.
what vehicle are these for?
The set on screen is for a 2018+ Jeep JL Wranglers, but they are available for JT Gladiators, 21+ Broncos and F-150s, as well as pretty much any Raptor. There should also be some coming soon for the 2022+ 3rd Gen Tundras. I am sure there is another application or two I am missing as well.
Would these fit an F150 ?
Currently are not offered for the F150 unless you have a full Raptor conversion.
21 Mojave. Fox front shocks 2.5 being replaced under warranty. Terrible squeaking, very disappointed.
We are truly sorry to hear that. Fox will take care of you.
