Unser Ziel war es euch ein Gefühl dafür zu geben, was wirklich hinter diesem Auto steckt.
Und eben weil es die erste Dokumentation von einer Komplettrestauration eines DeTomaso ist, sind wir stolz diese Arbeit mit euch zu teilen.
Wir wollten einen komplett anderen Film drehen über dieses Fahrzeug, ich denke wir haben dies erreicht.

I restored a '72 Pantera about 25 years ago. It was an insane amount of work. Probably 600+ hours of sheet metal work alone just to fix what was rusted. I was going to do a GT5S build with flares at one time, but decided to leave it stock.

badass guys i dont think most people realize how long it takes to do a car like this from what you started with thats a lot of hours of metal work i just redid the whole back half of a camaro torque boxes rails and all three layers of the rear pan made every panel by hand with blocks and hammers and plug welded every panel then seem welded and ground for appearance over a hundred hours later its still only a camaro thats worth what someones wheeling to pay though great work guys you built a master piece

Fantastische Arbeit, ein echtes Schmuckstück! Um dieses Auto so herzurichten sind Können, Wollen und Geduld nur die Basis. Hier wurde ein fast 40 Jahre altes Auto restauriert und modifiziert mittels Handwerkskunst. Für jemandem mit einem Nissan-Horizont, der nur Plastikteile bei Nismo kaufen oder LSD-Türen-Tuning kennt, kaum vorstellbar.

Looks like a typical Pantera,a total rustbucket that needs severe sheet metal replacement. Not having galvanized steel bodies means you have to take real good care of them and eventually have to do a total refurb job on one.

it has a 351 cleavland nascar based semi hemi canted valve 2.19 inch diameter intank valves,and intank manifold is 4 finger high ( 6 foot man)
very powerful engine when modified.
it was designed for nascar racing @5000- 8000 rpm.
