@@viktorthevictor6240 Exactly! It’s absolutely insane! I get it, people are tired of seeing Uncle Ben die but that doesn’t mean that you just completely do away with Peter’s entire reason for becoming Spider-Man! That’s like making a Batman Movie and not acknowledging the fact that Thomas and Martha Wayne’s deaths in Crime Alley are the foundation of why Batman is Batman! It doesn’t make any sense!
I swear it's like the MCU is sabotaging Spider-Man... They wrote these mega icons and treated them with respect and care in Captain America/Iron Man, but it's like they refuse to put Spider-Man in that same light.
Maybe they just have too many cooks in the kitchen. There is an expression when a team puts in everything together, without cohesion. You make a camel. There are some good ideas but so much bs is thrown in. It just becomes this mess. I'm making a video right now on how perfect the Captain America trilogy is.
@@Mr_Blueberry Possibly. Maybe a singular vision for the character like what Markus & McFeely alongside the Russo's bro had for Cap would've made the character better. I also heavily believe that the talent involved is a major factor and Jon Watts just doesn't seem like an exceptional director at all. It's really sad, especially knowing that Spider-Man is one of the, if not the greatest superhero ever, yet his live action adaptations are no longer being treated as such.
@@Mr_Blueberry in my opinion Captain America 1 & 2 are some of the best comic book movies. Civil war was ok. Phase 3 50% looks bad. I think phase 1 was best
@@Mr_Blueberry I think phase 1 was the best cause it actually had a bit of character development but then they started introducing too many characters and so noone got developed and every film had a different version of that character. In my opinion, captain america was the only character who was consistently written pretty well, he had motivations and hidden wants and he was kept serious enough to not be treated as a joke. I swear the mcu became a joke at endgame, all of the characters arcs they had built up over 10 years were scrapped pretty much, thor had an arc of being worthy of the king of asgard etc but then he just gave it all to valkryie who he has known for like 1 film. The worst part for me is how even though they have a serious problem with too many characters, they decide it would be a good idea to have a multiverse and introduce even more characters.
@@Jdudec367 70 people like my comment and probably agreed with me... ...By the way go comment elsewhere this movie was utter shit. If you get offended this video said shit even Samuel L Jackson said bullshit with the content creater 😂
@@Jdudec367 If you wanted to justify the movie why are you hiding out in my comment section!? It also tells me you did not bother watching the video before you commented. 🙄
It's funny how for Spiderman No Way Home, people are talking more about the return of Dr. Octopus, Green Goblin, Electro and Daredevil than the main guy Spidey himself
You were wrong about Peter being the only one who changes in every movie. Bruce Banner has changed in every film. Edward Norton’s Bruce Banner was as excellent, he was shy, careful, collective, noble, he WAS Bruce Banner. Then in Avengers 1 they changed him completely with Mark Ruffalo, making him a jokester, then in AoU he was a romantic freak, then in Ragnarok and Infinity War he was weird (mostly because of Ruffalo’s bad acting) and in Endgame... well... you know.
@@websitetroll1021 I enjoy some aspects of Ruffalo. However we really haven't seen a full Hulk film in some tie. From what I hear, Norton was a very difficult actor to work with. I too enjoyed his performance and was sad to see him go. If ya wanna see a video on that I ask you subscribe, so you can see it when it comes out. You definitely have a point.
Your very clever and actually understands Spider-Man as opposed to kids these days who will never know the real spidey. Ur right Tom Holland is literally iron boy.i wish there were more people like you.
Spider-Man: FFH was about him becoming his own hero. The way Peter handled Tony's death is what made him become his own hero. Instead of just always ranting about becoming the new Iron Man he gets nervous and anxious about it when asked. It bothers him and it shows a lot. At the end he proves to himself that he isn't going to replace Iron Man, instead he rather just let Iron Man's legacy stay like that. And the movie has problems and I really wish that Uncle Ben had more meaning to the MCU. To me he is my favorite and best Spidey on the big-screen EVER. He is just the most accurate besides the suit. Hopefully Uncle Ben is in the third movie of MCU Spidey.
@@Mr_Blueberry Yeah but I mean think of the situation, He needed a suit fast and needed to have the gear and tech to make it. Tony's stuff just happened to be there. I honestly don't like how there is so much tech but this time Peter made the suit with less tech. The homecoming suit was made by Tony. This was Peters idea for an advanced suit.
Facts even Tasm 2 is still some what watchable Far from home especially is just boring nonsese took me a year to watch it because it was so slow. Marvel needs to stop making movies & end this Mcu deal its stupid Give Sony the IP back right. 😡
People critique the TASM films, but even tho they aren't perfect they try to do something with the character. The problem with MCU's Spider-Man is that they not try.
I don’t like this movie, I prefer Tobey, But this is just wrong in this movie he proves that he can be his own thing outside from iron jr but I still don’t like this movie
Mr.Blueberry Probert the problem is why do people not see that like 9/10 people like this film and this version of the character, I ask why I’m not against them liking it but I’m asking why for the reason you cannot just like something by not thinking, look at the SW sequels it seems that the people who like the film, ignore lore or make comparisons to the other versions of the characters, like spectacular, and ps4 are objectively the best versions of the character outside the comics so why not draw comparisons, so why do people think this mcu Spider-Man is good objectively
i totally agree, both movies suck. they are not conected and everything is just too easy for spidey. they probably wanted to make it family friendly for kids. i can't imagine venom in upcoming movies, Peter is just too soft to face him and there is no way he can fight him without avengers help, because he is so unexpierenced, he even struggles to use his spider sence. venom would eat him alive in my opinion.
I agree... people tend to save this version of Spiderman for some superficial traits (age and whatever) but if his actions go in a different direction than what is Spiderman... this can't be Spiderman at all. Spiderman has always been a hero behind his ACTIONS and their consequences... we had none of these here. In my opinion a third movie can't really help without forcing a character like this into something that he has barely shown previously.
@@Mr_Blueberry I think this is more accurate to real life situations. He has to look like he is not an adult and knows everything Btw ffh was my favourite movie of Spiderman
Same. I'm hoping it's a sinister six or pre-sinister six follow-up, since Electro got confirmed to be the next villain. Hopefully this time, MCU Spidey will shine in all glory.
@@mohamedaljassmy Just because a movie makes so much money, doesn't mean it's the best of its kind. Transformers movies are bad, yet they kill at the box office.

It all felt so disneyfied like all Peters relationships are vanilla and simple and easy. Outside of fighting the main bad guy, Peter Parker has a pretty good life in this movie with even the bully not being that intimidating or posing a threat. This movie just felt...so bland.
I can say out of clear justification that Marvel Studios just brought in Spider Man so someone could pick up the slack once Robert Downey Jr's contract expired with Avengers 4.
@@spencermalley10 Dear GOD no. As much as I have gripes with MCU Spider Man, he still has good moments and good casting. him being the face of the MCU still make sense than them going... Woke.
You know what else sucks about the movie? The post credits scene. Revealing that Peter is Spider-Man is really dumb for a few reasons... 1. It means that Vulture choosing to keep Peter's identity a secret will never be followed up on or have pay off. 2. There's no way we're seeing the direct aftermath of the scene and how people initially react, since I can guarantee that the next movie will begin after the fallout just like how we never saw the fallout of Aunt May learning that Peter is Spider-Man, skipping all that potential character development. 3. Proving that Peter isn't Spider-Man is really damn easy. Mysterio actually gave no proof like video footage so we just have his word to go by. And SHIELD has Skrulls! What's stopping from one posing as Peter so he can be seen in the same place as Spider-Man, proving that they're not the same person? Hell, in Spectacular Spider-Man Venom did the exact same thing as Mysterio and an investigation concluded that Peter wasn't Spider-Man. This shouldn't be an issue.
@@Mr_Blueberry I also hated the movie's version of Mysterio. I thought it was redundant that they tied his origins to Tony Stark just like they had done to Vulture. I felt like the movie thought it was more clever than it really was by going the most obvious route you could with Mysterio especially when it meant throwing out the more interesting multiverse plotline. And his plan needed both Fury and Spider-Man to be idiots in order to work.
Jack Hummer I guess the only reason I was almost convinced that Mysterio was a hero, was because these movies are just that dumb. I didn’t personally mind Mysterio in this film but it does feel like his plan works way too well. Not one person saw through it. Kinda weird. I almost prefer the storylines Where Mysterio frames Spider-Man. I feel like that would’ve been much more interesting to watch.
@@Mr_Blueberry Mysterio is actually one of my favorite Spider-Man villains, so it really says something if I hate him in the MCU. I also really don't like how Far From Home sidelined Aunt May. She has just been wasted in the MCU, treated as more of a hot joke than an actual character who goes through on screen development. They even retconned her as a victim of the Snap, since it was said after Infinity War that she survived the Snap and that could have given her development but I guess that was too hard for them so they changed it to make things easier.
I swear I felt like the only one who hated the FFH suit. The white spider on the front and back looks unfinished. Not to mention the red and blue suit they made initially looks miles better.
Flash Thompson imo has to be the most oddly casted character in the film hes a streamer?...i cant buy him as a bully yes you can say hes "verbal" but it doesn't affect Peter at all Flash is supposed to make Peter feel like trash hes big hes a jock Peter outsmasrts Flash with his mind usually here idk dude great video
@KJ Beast Yea thats true dude Flash is Sterotyical at base and not focused on unless hes making Peter feel lame thats part of makes Peter relatable here it doesn't really affect Peter and they embarass flash making him look like a loser.Yes Flash is a sterotype but thats WHO flash is as a character imagine if Peter was this cool idiot who was rich and got all the girls thats not the character Stan made flash isn't even identifiable as himself anymore he is always embarrassed by plot elements and they way they use him fails to make Peter more relatable so the character fails to execute what Stan wanted the character to be.
i agree i thought Flash Thompson was wrong casting i thought Flash Thompson is a scrawny little wimp and i whould of easly KICK flash ass if he picks on me
They really shit on Tony after he died giving a kid glasses that control drones knowing he's not ready. And I thought he no longer made weapons since the first iron Man and Ultron.
@@anubusx they want the movies to connect that doesn't bother me. What bothers me is just give mysterio powers not have him use drones as projections that so smart it comes off so stupid.
These movies have made appreciate the Sam Raimi trilogy even more than I already did. Granted like you said I get why the MCU made the changes they did. However those changes were made for the worst. I don't know if the MCU'S version of "Spider-Man" makes the Amazing Spider-Man movies look better, but they seem to be more traditional/faithful to the main character.
@Erik Kemeey Write Wikipedia articles in your spare time? I would say something to counter your arguments. But I'm half expecting an essay length paper in response. If the MCU's version of "Spider-Man" excessively long origin story really gets you GOING READY TO BUST. Good for you, I"ll just stick with the Sam Raimi movies.
@Erik Kemeey If you must know, I'm mostly indifferent to Tom Hollands Spider-Man. Cause like I said before I prefer the Sam Raimi movies. Plus on the other hand putting nostalgia aside. The music/score from Danny Elfman is awesome. The cinematography is expressive, alive, and has variety. Yet the most important thing the story; it isn't cluttered with having anything borrowed from Tony Stark. Everything from a classic Spider-Man story is there and well (for the most part) defined/written. Plus that he accomplished everything was on his merit! The OG Spider-Man trilogy feels likes a directors/fans vision put onto the big screen. I don't hate Tom Hollands movies or his Spider-Man but, I just don't get much out of the MCU'S "interpretation" of the character. However to be fair his movies are better than the Andrew Garfield ones.
@Erik Kemeey Tom Holland apparently can't be bothered to have his own Spider-Man suit except at the end of Homecoming. Or have an Uncle Ben who taught him how to be a good person. Look you can like his take on the character of Spider-Man all you want. Yet my mind is unchanged about how I feel about him.
@Erik Kemeey Cause he usually can't stop screaming Tony's last name in these movies, and usually tries his best to impress his sponsor or prove he can be in the big leagues so to speak.
I hate the MCU Spider-Man. It is the least comic book accurate and all of the points you made in the video, I can agree with. There are so many more things wrong with the MCU Spider-Man. After playing the PS4 and PS5 Spider-Man games, it just clicked. Sony has always had the better Spider-Man stories. I would love for Sony to make a Spider-Man movie series of their Spider-Man video games. Then they should rehire Tobey Maguire or Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man for those movies Or we can get The Amazing Spider-Man 3 and Spider-Man 4 instead.
I felt the only part I genuinely loved mcu Peter and spiderman was in civil war, but then he is an immature kid in homecoming so that doesn't match up at all, what happened to him being a dumpster diver and caring about staying in school, Nah let's throw that all away. This goes for all his appearances later on as well, inconsistent, and it's annoying how his bedroom changes each film, shows a lack of continuity and messiness. simple changes that just get me asking why? he was good in infinity war and endgame cause he seemed more switched on but then in ffh he's different This film Far from home IMO as well, was disposable standard mcu garbage, Aunt May was a joke, The characters were jokes, instead of making use of the events of endgame and doing seriously unique ideas to impact the story they choose to just say Peters friends were all snapped and came back. Why couldn't Ned have survived and aged 5 years only for Peter to come back and see his best friend is now gone, so he is all alone in school, and maybe he is stuck with flash and throughout they slowly get to know each other and become friends, that would've been a huge struggle for Peter. The film is just standard in every aspect, and really Peter just acts like an idiot in this movie, handing the glasses over to the bad guy, something that his past mentor gave him, did he not get with great power comes great responsibility, like his Bags, got blown up and one of them was Ben Parkers and Aunt May just passes it off as a joke. These writers are terrible at crafting a heartfelt story, scrap all the goofy side characters and just focus on Peter and "Mj's" relationship and Peter being alone after losing his mentor and best friend to the events of endgame and infinity war, thats what I woudve done. All they needed to do with the Uncle Ben stuff is not show it but show that it did impact Peter like how the ps4 game did it, like this version of Aunt May just doesnt care that her husband died as all and is fine with Peter being spiderman, did Peter ever tell her about the night ben died, no its skipped over, lazy storytelling and lazy writing
xd Zaam yeah, that’s why the mcu Spider-Man film alacks any depth and emotion cause the writers can’t be bothered to give them any, all of Peters friends are just bland, and Aunt May is just their to be his hot aunt who everybody hits on, she lets Peter be Spider-Man no problem, I hope in Spider-Man 3 this year they fix this and take the identity reveal seriously instead of treating it like a joke, I want them to make it feel more real
Good video! FFH is in my opinion my least favorite MCU film and I feel like the writing was shit and Tom Holland deserves better. FFH needed to go into Peter’s psychology and it didn’t do that. At least HC had a better story and was more grounded compared to FFH and the former has moments that make me genuinely care about peter and was a good reintroduction. FFH doesn’t get into why tony was a good influence on him after Ben died and show how much harder it is for peter now that he lost TWO father figures. They need to give this character the Ragnarok treatment and FIX him ASAP! FFH is a complete middle finger to the MCU and is easily my least favorite MCU film. Love you 3000 for making this.
This film does spiderman right. It treats him as an action comedy character rather then a generic superhero. It keeps the camp of the character and adds a new twist on him which keeps it fresh. It's different from the MCU because it has great comedy writing mixed with not following the marvel formula. These aren't meant to be your bland, average movie like the horrible film: endgame. It's meant to be a fun, campy, Saturday afternoon film that makes you feel good. It works because it's a fun comedy film. FFH is easily the best MCU film to date because it holds up as a film even if you aren't a marvel fanboy.
it doesn't have enough because people dont like truth, and also because of the algorithm, pretty weird that there are videos who talked good about the movie have more views then the ones who really critized and gave a valid point of view of it. There is no more Spiderman, just a kid with powers.
One of my favorate Pixar rules of storytelling is a great hero is admired more for their failures then their sucesses. These movies take that to the next level. It feels like I am watching Charlie Brown if he was a superhero he always seems to save the day by the skin of his teeth and they put so much slapstick in his fights. I some times feel like I could kick Tom Holland Spiderman's butt.
3:41 Hey, The Amazing Spider-Man movies are great! I watched The Amazing Spider-Man 2 yesterday, and I enjoyed it for the most part. If it only had fewer plots in it then I could consider it way better.
I'm not a comic book nerd, just a casual super hero movies viewer. I've seen and greatly enjoyed all previous Spider-Man movies. . When Spider-Man was added to the MCU, I was pretty happy, loved him in Civil War, but then Homecoming came out and the movie kinda left me indifferent to my surprise. Then I played Spider-Man PS4 and it just clicked... MCU Spider-Man doesn't feel like Spider-Man, he only has the name really. You play the PS4 game or watch any of the old movies and the difference is just obvious, (although to be fair the game's Peter is older). Guess I had just forgotten about the Sony movies cause I hadn't seen any of them in such a long time. The game really reignited my love and affection for the character... and I'm no longer indifferent to MCU Spider-Man, I'm actually just sad, even more so because Tom Holland is really good. Don't really have much else to say cause you said it all in the videos you made on the topic. But I do have a question... who owns the rights to the Osborn family ? Seriously, not having Uncle Ben, having a fake MJ and a weird thot aunt May is one thing, but no mention at all of Harry ? Or Norman ? Oscorp not being even mentioned at all ? Is it about the rights to these characters or did they just choose to ignore them like Uncle Ben ? I find it weird cause I'm no specialist by any means but Norman (green goblin) and Harry seem to be essential characters to Spider-Man, right ?
Jay Bee really glad to hear this. Most people who aren’t comic fans don’t pick up on that. I’m impressed you did. There are many elements to this franchise missing. The only thing done well is the costumes.
I didn't want Spidey in the MCU at all other than in a Netflix show because I'm used to an isolated webhead, but when I saw the movies, I was completely disgusted.
@Turtle Rex That's not what I meant. I don't want the webhead to coexist with the Avengers at all. The fact that Spidey was part of the MCU was the reason I didn't even want to watch the movies, and the movies were worse than I thought. I came to see Spidey, not the shell head, so why should I care? Spider-Man's better off with only a select few other street-level heroes (the ones on Netflix and Freeform to name a few).
Dude. I feel you about the amazing movie series. I despise the 1st its such a depressing bs movie, the 2nd is a misguided mess, but a well intentioned 1. It kills me to say it to but those were still more faithful to the character than Far From Home. I can tolerate Homecoming on its own (not a great film but still ok) but Far From Home is one of the most disrespectful Spider Man adaptations made, easily worse than the entire amazing series combined (yes even keeping the stupid Lizard plot from the 1st in mind) and possibly the most disrespectful MCU film imo. It has absolutely killed my interest in seeing any sequels with this iteration of the character (and Spider Man is my favorite superhero so that sucks) because it's Spider Man in name only, he may as well be a different character. Just gonna hope Insomniac doesn't butcher the video game sequel cuz thats the best Spidey out right now (not perfect, but pretty damn good).
People tend to save this version of Spiderman for some superficial traits (age and whatever) but if his actions and constantly-changing-motivations go in a different direction than what is Spiderman... this can't be Spiderman at all. Spiderman has always been a hero behind his ACTIONS and their consequences... we had none of these here. In my opinion a third movie can't really help without forcing a character like this into something that he has barely shown previously.
Exactly Spider-man far from home just isn't Spider-man The Spectacular Spider-man, Spider-man ps4 and Sam Raimi Spider-man Trilogy got the character right
CT that’s every Sam rami spider man trilogy brings up as a defense to hate on it they talk about age which it honestly doesn’t matter what does matter is the characters
The sad part is people will defend all of the stupid decisions or general things done by characters in MCU Spiderman (not just Peter) with "They're kids! Kids do stupid things lol!" This is the other end of Stan Lee's "make him relatable": just because you might have been there doesn't make it entertaining to watch, or not irritating. How about we see characters rise above the mundane and be inspirational to the audience, instead of wallowing in the gutter with the audience.
I saw the Spider-Man trilogy and amazing Spider-Man few days ago and noticed Spider-Man movies have gone downhill. Tobey sp1 and sp2 was best . Amazing Spider-Man 2 was also good. But this MCU Spider-Man feels like a fake Spider-Man lol no mary jane. Gwen stacy, uncle ben and Harry Osborn makes it feel as if its a rip off. I think MCU itself after Phase 2 has gone downhill. I think Disney has screwed MCU over time when marvel had more input the MCU felt much more like marvel and I will not go into details but hulk thor and more have been ruined for the sake of humor or comic relief like WTH 🤦♂️

I’m not even 1 minute into the video but here’s why I think the movie is terrible: - They built up so much anticipation of Mysterio only for him to be revealed as a pissed off ex stark employee, which leads to the next problem. - Mysterio doesn’t even have powers or any abilities like he does in the comics, he’s just a guy good with technology - There doesn’t seem to be any consequences for Peter’s actions throughout both the two movies, even if there is any. There just shoved aside after a few minutes. It just feels like Peter has no personality - just some generic superhero. - Tom Holland, while he’s a good actor I don’t see him as Spider-Man. Even since day one in civil war I just couldn’t imagine him playing such an iconic character. Now that’s not to say he had some good moments, like lifting the rubble after the vulture fight and talking to stark about why he should/shouldn’t have the suit. I don’t like how he’s so intertwined with the avengers. For me he should be tight knitted - not meeting superhero’s every 2 minutes and going to space. He should just be Spider-Man, in New York, fighting the sinister six.
Stan Lee is spinning in his grave. Meanwhile, my sister thinks this Spider-Man is a godsend. I, on the other hand refused to see TASM2. (My sister dragged me to these. That's time I'll never get back.)
Don Foley I get where you are coming from. I’m confused. I feel as if his character isn’t being written for me anymore which is annoying but also if kids love it then who am I to object. I’m a big Spiderman fan so I keep seeing these films every time I die a little on the inside. Will post more videos, hope to read more of your comments.
@@Mr_Blueberry Yeah. Truthfully, I've never read the comics, and just got lucky with who I favored. As for the reason you feel like Spider-Man isn t being written for you, it's kind of because the movies aren't made for people like you, me and the rest of the people who don't like the new wall crawler. The movies are made for six year old kids who want toys that look like the suits. As odd as critics say the trilogy is, (Tobey was too old, we're just nostalgic, etc) at least they got the characters right. Even Spider-Man 3 was better than this junk. By a LOT.
Aaron Blanding Shocking similar. And for a not shocking reason. Disney. While most of Marvel is pretty good in my opinion, the target demographic are simply everyone. They shoot to appease the masses. Not anyone in particular. Which I think leads to more generic movies.
In the next movie, because Peter is a “murderer”, they should arrest happy, mj, Ned, and other “accomplices”. Also they could make stark industries go out of business because no one wants to buy from someone helping a murderer. Peter gets arrested, and breaks out of prison. This causes chaos and many other criminals escape too like vulture and scorpion. With no one to run back to, Peter must realize there is consequences to his recklessness and that he has to take responsibility. Wanda ruins space time or whatever, and more villains like electro and doc ock come to New York. But Maguier and Garfield come too. Finally, krwven the hunter is hired by Thaddeus Ross to hunt down Peter. His brother dimitri gets a implant from a rogue skrull, and can now shapeshift. So now we have doc ock, electro, vulture, scorpion, chameleon, and raven the hunter vs the 3 spiderman. And they have no back up to support them, happy? Now obviously I would much rather have a one on one movie like spiderman vs kraven, or spiderman vs scorpion. But the way Sony and marvel are going, that’s not happening. Lastly, at the end daredevil proves that Peter Parker didn’t murder mysterio
My problem with this review is that it doesn’t take into account the events of endgame and other films. Peter just died and defeated thanos, ,so of course he gonna want a break for a second and time to enjoy himself. Secondly, far from home was more of a Peter Parker movie than a Spiderman movie.
At first I thought it was great that they decided to bring Spider-Man into the MCU, but I quickly came to regret that. I feel like Tom Holland would have been so much better off with just another series of Spider-Man all on his own. Spider-Man doesn't usually have someone to bail him out. He handles and figures things out on his own. Thats part of the growth with Spider-Man. He no longer gets to be this kid, he has to grow up and become a hero and self sufficient. There is no Iron Spider suit or Tony Stark or Happy to come bail him out, its always just been him. Thats part of who Spider-Man is. Taking that away has left us with this helpless kid that needs others to bail him out all of the time. That is one of my main issues with Tom Hollands Spider-Man. And it really sucks because I really like him as the one to play Spider-Man. Hopefully somehow we will get to see him all on his own without anyone there to bail him out. That's how his character is supposed to grow and develop. Without it he's just a really strong kid with sticky fingers that gets conveniently called on every once in a while.
@@Mr_Blueberry I already thought some of your critisisms. The movie was so meh it felt like dumb decision after dumb decision, Huh Peter apparently likes MJ what ever just go with it, Mystero ripped off Syndrome's plan and they already had a suprise villian in the last movie. Well if you don't look up Mystero on Wikipedia its a suprise. Also Homecoming was a much better movie Spiderman had one straightforward goal. If I catch a bad guy I can become an avenger too they just see me as a kid. Here is was so contrived and it had so much going on.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought the Far From Home Spidey suit looked very similar to the Superior Spider-Man suit. Everybody else keeps comparing it to the Miles Morales Spider-Man suit. When really the Miles Morales suit is black. And the rings around the eyes on the mask are red just like the spider symbol. So I don't see how the Far From Home Spidey suit is anything like the Miles Morales suit. But I digress.
I think the reason he changes personality was because they were trying to give him an arc that failed I think in civil war they were trying to make peter just wanted to get by in school and make sure no one had to go through what he went through with uncle ben and in homecoming he realizes how cool the suit is and wants to be a super hero because the suit can do so much and after end game he just wants to take a break while on his feild trip since he just went through losing a father figure like 7 months ago and is trying to get over tony's death
Fun fact there was actually an original Spider-Man suit he was going to use in Civil War if you look at Captain America Civil War behind the scenes it was actually a prototype suit,he was originally going to wear it in the movie
I agree! The whole weaponised drones sounded ridiculous to me, this didn’t feel like a Spider-Man movie. I feel like they should have switched up the story and made mysterious an actual villain, and maybe they could of introduced the multiverse and stuff
The original Spiderman had the feeling of the spirit of New York. All the technology Spiderman needs to win battles makes him seem weak. What's the point of superpowers if they are easily outclassed by technology. The movie tries to be fascinating through new uses of technology which I find predictable.
Basically the problem is director , he want to portray the character the way he likes, not giving any shit about his character and doesn't care about true Spiderman.
Abdul Shah Yeah I really liked it I’m not gonna bitch because its not something I grew up with like you idiots do 😂 Y’all complain about how he acts He’s suppose to be a 16 year old Y’all say Toby Maquire was the best Toby was grown ass man playing a teenager in high school while tom holland looks young enough to play the role Y’all need to stop bitching about your childhoods no one cares
While this film has some potholes, the movie overall is enjoyable and has it's own identity. What keeps this film fresh is the fact that it doesn't follow the normal MCU formula that has been used in every other MCU movie. Plus the fact it's written like a comedy makes the film that much better. While I understand it won't be everybody spiderman film, it isn't a bad film by any means. It's a fun movies that's re-watchable and gives entertaining laughs while still being a good film. I see this film as a masterclass in action comedies.
And you are entitled to that. I'm currently making a video on what makes a good movie vs a fun movie. They aren't always the same thing. Hope you check it out and spread your thoughts on it.
I agree with everything except with the stealing the videogames's ideas. In 2 entire movies he literally gives 1 punch, not that it means anything but c'mon I would love something like the final fight vs Green Goblin in the original Spiderman. He and May don't give a fuck about Uncle Ben, he loses his suitcase and they just laugh it off at the end of the movie like it was worthless. The OST is bland af, I can still remember the epicness of the black suit theme in Spiderman 3 or the responsibility theme from Spiderman 1, I could barely hear the incredibly boring and repetitive theme in FFH. I don't have anything against the side characters but they have so much screen time even if they have boring archs, like Ned's romance with the blonde girl just there to make some cringe comedy, or the teacher wich is super dumb so they can make "funny" scenes with him, Flash who would be totally bullied irl but is (not really) a bully in the movies, and MJ who was totally useless in Homecoming and would've been useless if she didn't become Peter's love interest. FFH is a really bad Spiderman movie, but the majority liked it, so we're probably gonna see more of Iron Boy in the sequels
Nick Fury just isn't what he used to be, he's given lines which are less cool and more what sounds good from Sam Jackson. Winter Soldier: "Shield looks at the world as it is not as we'd like it to be. It's about time you got with that program Captain" Infinity War: "Mother Fu-" Winter Soldier: "Grandad he loved people...but he didn't trust them very much" FFH: "B*tch please you've been to space" WS: "I know you erased my password, probably deleted my retinal scan but if you want to stay ahead of me Mr secretary...(lifts up eyepatch)…You need to keep *both* eyes open..." FFH: "see that's some bull sh*t"
It's because they're pandering to pop culture memes about Jackson. Because even the dumb kids watching MCU Spiderman know "lol Jackson curses a lot that's like this thing and it's kewl". Hollywood has a bad influence on the masses, and the masses likewise have a bad influence on Hollywood. It's a terrible cycle of mediocrity.
When I explain why I dislike Tom’s spider-Man people miss my points a lot. What was one point? Relatable consequence. What is a relatable consequence to me? Not something that can literally only happen because of a Supervillain. Basically Tom fans reply back with ”but he feels emotion” however I never said he doesn’t feel anything. Man your video just perfectly explains a lot of my issues so thank you.
My pleasure. How to find myself in that situation often. I have a bunch of Spider-Man videos coming out soon that will further go into that. Thank for the kind words!
@Erik Kemeey Why are you following me to different videos? Man I told you respectfully that I didn’t want to talk to you anymore. Why? I explained this before, but I’ll go into it again. 1. You entirely ignore a lot of what I said because it makes your arguments weaker. 2. You misrepresent things I said. 3. You missed the entire point I made and you go off topic. How do you? I didn’t mention the other movies, but you kept bringing them up as if I did.
Spider-Man: Far From Home broke me as a Spider-Man fan. I'm tired of people saying Far From Home is the best Spider-Man movie because in my opinion, it's the worst Spider-Man movie ever made and I'm tired of people saying that Tom Holland is the best Spider-Man because he is the worst version of Spider-Man I've ever seen in my life.
@@spencermalley10 I am aware that it exists. TASM2 is at least entertaining and Andrew’s Spider-Man doesn’t keep calling for his rich daddy to help in every situation that he is in, and at least, his priority is being Spider-Man, not being with some girl.
@@ViceJosh1.9 You're kidding, Right? You are aware Peter was willing to actually move away from New York to London for Gwen's sake, Right? and that he stalks her daily? Thats way worse than Peter wanting to hook up with Michelle. When specifically has MCU Peter ever called for Iron Man to bail him out of trouble? Not in any instance I remember. Tony involved himself in Peter's life a couple times in Homecoming but never at Peter's request.
@@spencermalley10 A) Yeah, Andrew was willing to move to England, but he wasn't gonna give up being Spider-Man. Besides, Gwen died later on, so that never happened. B) Peter was only stalking her because he misses her. C) Daily? He was only watching her for like one day and that's it. D) You obviously don't recall that in Avengers: Infinity War, when Iron Boy was trying to save Doctor Strange, but then gets beamed up, he literally calls his rich daddy to help him. This kid seriously can't last 5 minutes without anyone's help.
I’ve felt the same, not only do I think mysterio was a wasted opportunity to introduce something like that spider verse, but I also feel like Spider-Man is spoiled, he has everything, an awesome suit, he’s a super hero, has a best friend and a girl friend. There’s no responsibilities aspect
I think that the scene when Peter makes his own suit could save the movie but if instead having Peter getting sad about being the New Iron Man he would be like... Peter : "A lot of people died and it always my fault first was m~my Ucle, and now Stark"... Peter : "How can i consider me a Hero if i can save everyone, if i always make stupid decisions!!!" Happy : "Being a Heroe it doesn't mean save everyone, you gotta make mistakes, doesn't matter what powers you have, your still human..." Peter : "Jeje, this ia something that would say Ben" Happy : "Who?" Peter : Ah, nothing, nothing just ignored that, i gotta fight Mysterio and crash his face. Happy : You want music. Peter : Ramones Please. And then we have scene when the music "Blitzkrieg Bop" by Ramones start to playing while we see how the upgrade suit is form. And that is how i think that this scene could save this scene and the whole movie also. Thanks for read

5:46 that’s not inconsistent writing. In the end of Homecoming he realizes he needs to be a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man and stay on the ground like Tony tells him the entire movie.
@@Mirrorcomics24 No he realizes in FFH he doesn’t have to live up to Ironman. The media was trying to pressure him into that. In Homecoming he learns he doesn’t need the suit. In HC he earned the suit, He also realizes that needs to stay in his lane.
Maybe they will make uncle Ben die in the future and make a twist on his personality and make us have empathy with him, like they are planning to make the kid spiderman in a responsible spiderman and he will even self sacrifice by ending with MJ.
Raimi's Spider-Man 3 and Webb's The Amazing Spider-Man 2 are fucking masterpieces compared to this MCU's "trilogy" and that's saying alot because we all know they weren't the greatest of films but atleast tried to do the character justice.

That’s like making a Batman Movie and not acknowledging the fact that Thomas and Martha Wayne’s deaths in Crime Alley are the foundation of why Batman is Batman! It doesn’t make any sense!
Well let’s hope they do Uncle Ben justice in Freshmen Year
I swear it's like the MCU is sabotaging Spider-Man...

Edward Norton’s Bruce Banner was as excellent, he was shy, careful, collective, noble, he WAS Bruce Banner.
So like the amazing spiderman 2
i totally agree, both movies suck. they are not conected and everything is just too easy for spidey. they probably wanted to make it family friendly for kids. i can't imagine venom in upcoming movies, Peter is just too soft to face him and there is no way he can fight him without avengers help, because he is so unexpierenced, he even struggles to use his spider sence.
venom would eat him alive in my opinion.
yeah probably. I just don't see a feud between Tom Holland and Tom Hardy.
I agree... people tend to save this version of Spiderman for some superficial traits (age and whatever) but if his actions go in a different direction than what is Spiderman... this can't be Spiderman at all. Spiderman has always been a hero behind his ACTIONS and their consequences... we had none of these here. Pretty sure if the mcu spidey movies would be from Sony, everyone would hate it. But because he is in the mcu, the majority likes it...
Jack Hummer Perfect.
I recorded this exact argument, but decided my video was long as hell. Glad other people see it too.
It's to set up the sinister six in spider-man 3 but whatever.

@Erik Kemeey Mentally I'm still a teenager, does that answer your question?
MCU Spidey is just Iron-Miles Morales Jr. but with his name changed to Peter.

This goes for all his appearances later on as well, inconsistent, and it's annoying how his bedroom changes each film, shows a lack of continuity and messiness. simple changes that just get me asking why? he was good in infinity war and endgame cause he seemed more switched on but then in ffh he's different
This film Far from home IMO as well, was disposable standard mcu garbage, Aunt May was a joke, The characters were jokes, instead of making use of the events of endgame and doing seriously unique ideas to impact the story they choose to just say Peters friends were all snapped and came back.
Well said! I couldn't have said it better.
Omg I didn’t even notice when May said “Oh you’re bags got blown up” she was referring Ben’s bag. Such a cold hearted woman smh.
xd Zaam yeah, that’s why the mcu Spider-Man film alacks any depth and emotion cause the writers can’t be bothered to give them any, all of Peters friends are just bland, and Aunt May is just their to be his hot aunt who everybody hits on, she lets Peter be Spider-Man no problem, I hope in Spider-Man 3 this year they fix this and take the identity reveal seriously instead of treating it like a joke, I want them to make it feel more real

Cool Film Movies I can agree that it’s a good film, it’s just not a good Spider-Man film.
Tom Holland is kind of wooden actually, his acting is mediocre, he's makes _too_ much jokes, and his Peter Parker sucks imo.

I guess you can say in this version of Spider-Man/Peter Parker

Landen Drake slowly but surely. Thank You 🤗 for the kind words. I should spend more time on my channel. Can’t quit my day job just yet.
That's why it works. It's an action comedy that relies on the comedy instead of the action. It's meant to be more funny then realistic.

@@FULANODETAL Oh brother.
@Erik Kemeey glad someone else actually watched the movie and doesn't just hate on it because it's not Raimi

Cameron Luer as I recall 30 year olds aren’t suppose to be in high school Fucking dumbass 😂
Exactly give us a Spider-Man that has money problems or even have aunt may work for a bakery
Far From Home barely feels like a sequel to Homecoming
right?
It laughable when you know the white spider symbol in Marvel's Spider-Man was meant to represent Peter and Spider-Man to become GREATER. And in Far From Home it meant absolute fucking nothing.
I’m not even 1 minute into the video but here’s why I think the movie is terrible:
- They built up so much anticipation of Mysterio only for him to be revealed as a pissed off ex stark employee, which leads to the next problem.
- Mysterio doesn’t even have powers or any abilities like he does in the comics, he’s just a guy good with technology
- There doesn’t seem to be any consequences for Peter’s actions throughout both the two movies, even if there is any.
Facts I hope sony has realized this and make their own spiderman films again.
Stan Lee is spinning in his grave. Meanwhile, my sister thinks this Spider-Man is a godsend. I, on the other hand refused to see TASM2. (My sister dragged me to these. That's time I'll never get back.)

By a LOT.
Don Foley That is actually another video I will be making. Ironically.
Mr.Blueberry Probert I too, noticed the parallels between this franchise and Star Wars.
He sucks as spiderman. He was okay in civil war but trash in the rest.

So I don't see how the Far From Home Spidey suit is anything like the Miles Morales suit. But I digress.
I heard that bs too. I’m more mad about the spider. I was like, why?

The Virgin MCU Spiderman vs The Chad Sam Rami Spiderman
Even tasm2 is better than homecoming and ffh. I think the Main issue is Jon Watts.

Raimi's Spider-Man 3 and Webb's The Amazing Spider-Man 2 are fucking masterpieces compared to this MCU's "trilogy" and that's saying alot because we all know they weren't the greatest of films but atleast tried to do the character justice.
You are joking right
So peter learning to be a hero in all these three movies is bad right
This movie doesn't make you feel like Spider-Man.
