Although, in all versions, it's possible to max at least one party confidant before Marukyu Striptease; this means that even in Golden, it's possible to have Yosuke, Chie, Yukiko, or maybe even Kanji(?) protect Yu under such circumstances in this fight, if you maxed at least one of them quickly.
Hindsight is 20/20 but the boss has a tell on what element he’s going to attack with. Whatever resistance wall he puts up is the element he’s going to attack with for 3 turns.

I recently used Girimekhala to spam Power Charged Aeon Rains so that Mitsuo's avatar melts quicker. Multi-hit skills like that and Kanji's Kill Rush/Torrent Shot are nice to have.
Black Frost used to be the MVP in P4 for me. He saved my ass in this fight, as well as allowing me to barely first try Shadow Rise+Teddy. Of course, Block Fire and Absorb Frost is too OP for early to mid game, so they nerfed him in P4 Golden.
@@rockvolnutt3113 iirc they removed either his block fire or absorb frost from his stat resistances. In the OG game he had both innately, but in Golden he only has one of them. I could be wrong, I just remember hearing that Black Frost had different resistances in P4G.

You don't need to over level. Just cover weaknesses and fuse better personas. Get the best armor too. After Mitsuo, the game is honestly very easy even Izanami.
one time i was doing one of those boss fights in tartarus with 3 shadows, it took so long to kill 2 and get one to almost die then i got instant-killed

Should’ve massacred golden hands until you passed out, then when you wake up fuse a broken build using the Megaten fusion guide to fuse Jack Frost with Panta Rhei 🤷🏾
The Severe spells are uninheritable in this game, IIRC (Unless there's a change or even a mod I haven't heard about); this makes Jack Frost with Phanta Rhei impossible, but Jack Frost with any -dyne level magic build is possible (even Fire, although you need skill cards for that type since Jack Frost can't inherit it normally).
As a guy who beated that baby by using Thor, Surtr with Ragnarok and Megidolaon and Chie's God hand, I must say: Skill Issue. Just kidding, that was a hard boss even with those skills, but You want to beat the shout out of that ugly guy, apply Elizabeth's technique: Megidolaon go Brrr

Damn. Yu wasn’t very lucky. For some reason, I fantasized that Yu would be seen in the fog screaming “GODDAMNIT PERSONA WHYYYEEE”!! And then a bunch of shadows come out of nowhere and start attacking him. It then zooms out and shows Yosuke and Kanji looking down at all this and says “the shadows have gotten stronger. Just then, a giant black shadow flies and attacks Kanji and Yosuke bites the Shadows shit.
In this fight, the boss usually gets two turns. But he knocked me down by hitting my weakness so he got a 1 more which gave him 3 turns to turn my ass into his dicks personal garage
I think the most annoying part about the game would be some of the dungeon quest collectibles and grinding. This boss was irritating but it’s not like I have to fight him twice
