I'm so glad you mention addressing slippage as soon as you see it. When I installed mine people kept telling me to leave them alone as much as possible because "crocheting too often will damage the hair". I ignored slippage and after every 2-3 washes they'd fall out and I'd have to reinstall them. I'm gonna start tightening them if I notice slippage from now on. Thanks!

i wanted to leave a comment in your last , don't let anyone discourage you on your JOURNEY to having locs, your just helping your hair to grow with the help of loc extension, there's some bad minded people who can't read what your videos are about then they need to shush, I've had mine 3 1/2 years but a few have come out from the front, so I've been plaiting them but I've asked my sister to sort them out for me & I think she's going the loc extension way, I'll wear them with pride too til my own hair grow as long as the rest, keep up with the advising & your loc extension look fly

Hey Sharmel! I am a new subbie and love your locs! I have loc extensions in the back of my head and am also unhappy with how the tips look. Could you possibly make a video about how to thin the tips out? It would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for subbing! My loc extensions actually came with the loose ends, but you can try combing the ends out with some conditioner.

Love your locs! Do you sit under a dryer to dry them or does air drying do the trick?

Thank you! It depends. When I do a fresh retwist I always sit under the dryer, but if I'm doing a regular I'll air dry or go through them with a blow dryer.
