The food all looked delicious.. Great experiments. 😁👍 We use our air fryer a lot.. Its just handy and quicker sometimes. We grill a whole lot, too. Have a great wk! God bless!😊🙏
So much fun to experiment! Thanks! Once I get the meat mastered, I'm going to work on learning how to do veggies, but I really think they take longer, but a different temp, I remember burning things in the past with my other one.
hahahaha My cousin used to tell the restaurants that if it wasn't burned, don't bring it. I'd watch her turn in a well done burger and ask for more time on the grill. that's too much for me, but if i hear a moooooo I'm out!
😂i laughed too when i saw a couple of people using the cutting bored. I mean its fine, but im not dirtying up a cutting board when i can use my paper plate. But to each their own.
Teri you always say you learn a lot from your subscribers…but I always learn stuff from you! I have those same air fryer papers but I never thought to put them UNDER the rack! What a good idea! lol! I never thought of doing that. 🤦♀️.
It’s the little things, right?! I learned it from someone on here!! My air fryer always said not to put things on the bottom or between my meat and the rack, but I do it anyway. I ordered a new bigger one, for a great deal, and i'm excited to see how it works and what all i can get into it. I hope my papers fit on the bottom, if not, i'll be ordering more! ha!
I take frozen burgers from Costco and grill them. Usually grill 8 burgers 4 mins on one side 5 mins on the other salt, pepper and grilling seasoning. YUMMY
I think it might help also if you let it rest awhile before you cut it … to keep it more tender … my son tells me GOTTA LET IT REST MOM! And the TT chef i watched also drizzled oil over the frozen steak before cooking … 🤔 I haven’t been brave enough to try it myself … you’re so brave lol
Terry, I have an old air fryer lid that sits on top of my instapot. Go Keto With Kristie talked about "mesh grill mat". I got them, cut them round to size to fit in the bottom and I love it. Keeps everything from sticking and washes right up.
That is such a great idea!! I know i'm not done with my house. well, i'm all done with the major overhaul, but i find myself wanting to tweak things, so i would imagine that in time, I'll be moving things to different areas.
Hi Terri honestly I would upgrade your air fryer if you’re going to cook steaks and burgers. I always use mine for that and I make chicken wings 😊luv ya
spoiler alert, one is coming tomorrow (Thursday). it's an 8 quart and mine is a 3 quart, so i'll put my 3 quart down in my basement in case the new one dies. I'm super excited to learn more.
I think the wooden cutting board is to help save the edge of your knives, since you're using more frequently than normal 🙂 but it still does look silly sometimes lol
I didn't even think about that! This is why i love my comment section. I appreciate you helping me to understand, that makes a lot of sense if people are cutting their steaks. Since i tend to use scissors, for lazy eating, i hadn't thought about that.
That was interesting 😊 If it's frozen, I defrost in my microwave, it's a low wattage too. My air fryer is the tall one to rotisserie (only once😂) tooooo much trouble! The trays are 9x10. I like that I can place them up closer to the heat or farther down. You're working pretty fast in your spare room!!👍
I have a new air fryer coming tomorrow (Thursday). I'm excited to grow in my air frying skills! I'm super excited about my spare room. i can walk in there pretty good now!
I don’t hand wash Anything that can be washed in the dishwasher. There are 3 of us and we run the dishwasher at least 4 times a week. My air fryer is used at least once a day. I wash it depending on what I cook. I have extra baskets. 😀
Montreal chicken is fabulous for chicken salad. Try it! 4 min for frozen Hamburg seemed too short. Maybe for defrosted or raw? I could see that. What about keeping your air fryer somewhere else? My Mom keeps hers on a small tv tray. Have you tried the sorbet setting for your creami yet? I’m using it with a splash of nut milk. It’s great although I like the softer serve texture you don’t care for. LOL
yessss i use the sorbet setting 2-3 times and it works great! I"m so glad it was suggested, thank you!!! yeah, when my new air fryer comes, I'm going to learn the perfect time!
yayyyyy I had no idea either! I am going to be looking into things like that for my evening meals. I'll keep doing my ground meats and meal preps for my lunches and any events i go to, but I'm super excited to try things. I also think maybe I will sear them in my skillet to add some crust, and maybe it won't turn tough???
I cook all my meat in the air-fryer! I do frozen pre-made burger patties @400 for 5 minutes each side then add garlic butter and smash burger seasoning with 1 TB grass-fed butter. YUM😋. I even 'boil' my eggs in my AF. I Love it 💘
I learned I can air fry hard boiled eggs! Large (brown takes an extra min) eggs in a preheated air fryer 300° F, add the eggs to the basket with a little space between each one. Soft Boiled Eggs: 9-10 minutes Jammy Eggs: 11-13 minutes Hard Boiled Eggs: 14-15 minutes Prep ice bath while it's cooking, putting them in for 2 min after done cooking to cool and easy peeling. I peel and cut in half with a drop of mustard for lazy deviled eggs, put jammy eggs sliced in half in a bowl of ramen or on top of a spinach salad with the runny yolk as the dressing, and more.
I have a ninja foodi that I can cook to a purfect medium rare. I still think it's tough. That steak looks good but is it hard to chew? I like your videos Terri! Have a blessed day.
it was a little hard to bite that first bite, but after I microwaved it for 1 minute it was perfect! I'm here to tell you, I'll be picking up some meats and freezing them in individual servings for once my air fryer comes!
Hello Terri, I have never Cooke a steak or bacon with butter. I like my steak medium. Well. I must have a low watt microwave too. I try to Rhea our steaks but some times I think of it too late. Thank you for sharing. 💕NonnaGrace 🐓
I love how easy it is. But i want to fine tune it because i've now seen chicken, beef, and pork from frozen. look out world... I'm going to become an air fryer junkie!
Lol... I'm a medium rare loving gal! Moo moo moo..lol How long it takes really depends on how thick the steak is. Funny enough, I had nothing prepared for dinner last night when I got home, and I was hungry, so that's exactly what I did. I pulled out a frozen steak and airfried it!! If I'm only. Cooking one steak that's exactly how I cook it all the time. If you like that buttery taste like you get in the cast iron... Just throw a dabba butter in the middle of the steak during the last minute. It will also brown the steak a bit more and help give it that seared look and taste. Also, Try a little of that redmond's smoke salt if you still have any on it Instead of the flake salt. Gives it that taste like it's been cooked outside on a grill.
oh man, that sounds delicious! I had thought about the butter. I have seen people rub oil on them, and that might help brown them a little? But i like your butter idea. I ordered a bigger air fryer, so I will be able to make a larger amount. I'd love to be able to cook 4 burgers and have 2 at supper and 2 to take for lunch the next day.
I'm over hearing Eating the four burgers I put in my air fryer and added butter after. And felt judged for a hot second 😂. Totally joking but a bigger air fryer has been a huge blessing.,
I have seen the wooden boards and find them way too big for so little food. I feel like you spend a fortune on them only to mar them and scar them up daily. I just don’t feel like I could really get them clean enough either so I didn’t get the wooden boards.
I heard recently don't use would because it's porous and the juices can seep down in it it moves and it's not good for you and also the same thing with plastic I know that you can put wax on the wood but I don't think I would want to eat it after it was wax I don't know it's with everything that they come out they find something wrong with it eventually just stick with the glass plate how long have we been eating on glass forever wow that steak looks good!!!!
You know what, I hadn’t heard that about wood! it's funny, they keep changing what is ok to do and not do. it's always confusing for me, I can't keep up. thank you for letting me know!
The food all looked delicious.. Great experiments. 😁👍

I'm with the guy that puts butter on em...lol...and a little garlic too
I love the garlic too. It’s so good, going to be trying that!
I’m with you I don’t want my beef mooing 😂 either.
hahahaha My cousin used to tell the restaurants that if it wasn't burned, don't bring it. I'd watch her turn in a well done burger and ask for more time on the grill. that's too much for me, but if i hear a moooooo I'm out!

thank you so much Miss Maria!

I love the sound of those grilling burgers! i swear I'm going to get a grill one of these days. my last one died ha!
@@terrileist they taste so GOOD!

Amazing job
Thank you so much!

does the butter melt off into the bottom, or do you do a small enough amount that it stays? I like your 5 minutes each side idea.
@terrileist I put a pat of butter on the steak when it is done. I season after I flip so the seasoning sticks better.
@deartammie thank you so much for the tips! I appreciate it

I like the butter just at the end so it adds a yummy flavor
Have you tried a reverse sear? Google it it’s less mess and I like the sear after for texture, yes I alway throw everything in the dishwasher
i thought about that, I could put it in the pan and let it brown after it's been cooked in the air fryer.
Speaking to eating steak off a wooden cutting board on TikTok, they’re all standing up also.
Ha! That too!! I was standing in my kitchen but then was like…this is dumb, I’m going to get all comfy and eat, ha!
I didn't know you could cook a steak from frozen in the airfryer! It's good to know in a pinch if craving one!

trust me... when I was carnivore I was eating 4 burger patties and i may still now, if i get too hungry. I am not afraid to eat more meat, ha!
@ three is usually my limit but yesterday I was starving
@Romans12.2 totally relatable. I’d rather eat extra meat vs a cake. You did awesome!!
Maybe put the parchment under the meat/ over the grate?
great tip! thank you :)
PS - what is your TT name? Can we follow you there also?
I haven't posted there in forever, but it's territootle :)
@ aww I just saw your cartwheel post from Aug 2023 - yayyy
@sherrytrimper3536 teehee thank you!!! I was so happy I could still do it! My arms are not super strong but I didn’t crash

makes sense to me. they are pretty, but eventually, i'd think they couldn't be washed enough??
❤❤
Thank you for watching Jessica!
Your taste will change....I use to only order well done...
Now medium rare to rare...
Maybe I'll just cook them medium rare and eat it and adjust to it as time goes on :)
@terrileist .....it in our nature.
Enjoy.

Not a fan of the creamy roulette🧐
Ha! I can’t argue with you, it would be nice to know what I’m eating and why it tastes so bland
Too much salt
could be, ha!
Too Raw on the meats
for sure
