    Hello! I've been around 5 years knowing about your trip. 6 years ago I started planning my solo bike trip, and life brought me love and a beetle with whom we are now traveling the world. I miss the bike, but soon I will be able to adapt one behind the car haha it is not the same, but I will still have my moments with the bike. It was a very difficult decision, choose between the bike and the beetle. We have to do everything outside, so it gives us that feeling of adventure that we always wanted, is perfect for us. Congratulations on your trip, I love it and I send you a lot of health and strength.

    I was looking for a review that would show how panniers fit in the inner area with a mat and this is the only one I have found that shows this so thanks for taking the time to share this overview. It works reasonably well by the looks of it but another few inches wider and it would be perfect from what I can see. Also been looking at the Niak. The Niak has more space and is lighter but has more mesh, thinner materials and as a 3 season tent wondering how it would handle the wind, rain and U.K. winters. Would be using tent for some cycling and also some hill hiking trips all year round. I like the fact that both have some space to cook in, Soulo might be a bit better for this but both are doable so not considering the Unna. Any thoughts..?

      Glad you liked the review. Sorry, but I never used the Niak, can't say anything about it! Good luck!

    Amazing you still on the road. Mosquito net on door is missing. Temperate climate have mosquitoes, not just the tropics....

      I am on the road again soon - had a break at home for a bit.....There is a mosquito net at the inner tent. Enough air circulation when it is colder - but not enough when in the tropics.....

    An expensive tent indeed, but then again quality always does come with a handsome Price Tag.
    Thanx for the Upload. Great tent from what I've seen/heard from other vloggers too.

    I have a cloud up 2 , it's a bit smaller than I would like with 6 bags using my bike touring setup, and no where really to cook because the sides slope inwards to much ,I think because of weight I will go for the big agnes copper spur ul 2, take care please do more videos.

    Very nice video, might not be the most "complete and technical" review around, but it is the one I like most! I rely on a Hilleberg Unna, which is comparable I think, and I am (just like you) VERY satisfied with it. Thanks for your demonstration.

    A good review, people say don't cook in your tent but if its pouring rain at the end of a long day its just not possible cook outside ,take care .

      I don't see a problem in using a gas stove inside the tent......

    • @mysurlytrucker7510
      @mysurlytrucker7510 3 роки тому +1

      @@pushbikegirl I agree , I just make sure I have distance above and around it , and preferably I put my small cutting board or something flat and my stove is low and has good wide legs to site pots on.

    If you get TiZip or equivalent divers drysuit zip cleaner your zips won't stick like they do. The zip life will be drastically increased

    Nice Video, thanks a lot! You think that tent is appropriate for traveling in central Asia/Pamir in summer and Russia/Mongolia in Autumn? I am debating between that and the Allak due to the additional ventilation with the two openings on the Allak (I am worried I will be too hot most of the time).

    Nice review :) Just wanted to point out that you can "anchor" the black straps on the guy lines around the poles, and this strengthens the whole tent and takes the stress off the fabric. You can see this demonstrated here: ua-cam.com/video/ObFD1VGJKHw/v-deo.html
