You can tell these parents who tout this nonsense aren’t involved in their children’s education and likely have no relationship with their kids’ teachers either…. MAKE IT MAKE SENSE YALL
Thank you for the work you do. I can’t imagine being a teacher these days. It’s always been a difficult and thankless job, but now y’all have a bunch of insane people calling you groomers.
I live in Tulsa, which is only about fifteen minutes from Owasso, where Nex went to school. Raichick was also responsible for a spate of bomb threats on schools here. She's even proudly bragged about and is proud of being stochastic terrorist, and thought it was great. She is horrible, Walters is horrible, and this entire state is horrible. I'd leave in a heartbeat if I could.
I also live in Tulsa. I am currently a student and I have dozens of friends with terrible stories regarding school policies required at public schools.
Kansas is becoming more progressive since we fought so hard to keep Roe. V. Wade protections in place. Wichita is becoming increasingly progressive. I want to move to Illinois or Colorado but I really don't think I'll have the money 😕
I love that the parents decided “all our kids are failing math class because their teacher taught them to be gay instead of teaching math” instead of the reality “my gay kid can’t do math because I’m not prioritizing education and instead am saying school is evil and they don’t have to listen to it and also they aren’t gay” Literally the number of times I’ve sat across a meeting table with a student’s parents and had them say to my face that they tell their kid not to listen to us when we try to discipline or correct behavior or tell them to literally learn ANYTHING because they had a bad experience in school as a kid can’t be counted on my fingers and toes combined. And I’ve only taught for 7 years
The negative feedback loop of irrational fear, overly focusing on something (even in attempt to prevent it) will increase it’s likelihood, this is especially the case with paranoia and psychosis....
Its not just LGBT kids the schools are failing in this regard (though they still have it the worst by a wide margin). I have autistic cousins and to say they've been bullied horribly at school would be a massive understatement. And nearly every single time the school sides with their bullies, to the point of literally destroying evidence. There really is a fundamental problem with how the school system treats marginalized groups (and that's putting it as kindly as i possibly can).
I experienced that and only way I found to deal with it was to learn to defend myself physically and I did and after a few big shows of force no one wanted to treat me like they had. They felt safe doing it, so I made sure they weren't.
@@user-account-not-found And then you get expelled from the only school in your county for violence because of “zero tolerance” (except it was very tolerated when the bullies were using it)
The way schools treat victims of violence is an extension of how our system functions overall...instead of doing the hard work to maintain a fair society, we give the most volatile, antagonistic people free reign to be bullies; at the same time, we keep the marginalized in a perpetual position of being their punching bags to maintain a status quo.
Do you think giving the state enough power, can erase bullying from society? And why would erasing the people who bully solve anything? Liberals suffer from an external locus of control. Everything they see they need to go home and begin scheming on how to ruin someone's life because you THINK they are bad. Y'all are emotionally unstable
Gotta wonder how she hasn't been sued multiple times over for defamation or something. Something about this feels uniquely... illegal. And rather destructive, ofc.
Probably because everyone she’s gone after (beside the hospital) is a private individual who’s likely unable to afford the legal costs to try and go after her. At this point though with the hospital being harassed there may be enough claimants for a class civil suit against her for something. It’s disgusting that this country basically requires a pay-to-play when it comes to being treated equally under the law.
Fun (not really) fact! The cat litter thing was actually so that students could go to the bathroom during school shooting lockdowns. It was proposed after Columbine, and died off shortly after.

Anyone who accuses someone of "teaching teenagers how to masturbate" (and not in an "ok ladies, here's how your parts ACTUALLY work" sense) should be immediately silenced forever. Anyone saying they don't believe teenagers are figuring that shit out for themselves is lying.
What they need to learn is that 1) there is nothing wrong with masturbation despite what the religious morons say, and 2) that it should be done in private. (Something Louis C.K. never seemed to comprehend.)
At most what a decent school's sex ed might include is a definition of what it is (which wouldn't be out of place among a list of terms that relate to sexual health), info differentiating myths from reality, and info about safe practices (like... I guess if a health teacher explains the purpose of lube or what hygiene practices need to be done in order to prevent UTIs etc. someone arguing in bad faith could claim that's "instructing teenagers about masturbation" but like you said, teenagers are going to be doing it anyway).

The Nex situation is so sad, because their death was ruled a suicide, and the right collectively celebrated and/or breathed a sigh of relief that they're off the hook for a hate crime, but they completely missed the bigger picture, because whether or not the head injury delivered by those girls killed Nex, a child was still ruthlessly bullied until they died. What people forget is liberalism gave us our roghts and freedoms. If the founding fathers had been conservative, wed still be worshipping a queen and ignoring dental hygeine
The founding fathers of America were all definitely conservative. Especially by today's standards. They just had *exceptional* self control and heafty levels of ignorance about the future. I promise you if the founding fathers of America were reborn, they would vote Republican. But these men were also slave owners and despised women's rights conceptually. Saying "see? Slavers from centuries ago with barely any education or internet access agree with us!" isn't the flex conservatives think it is.
People also often overlook that even those founding fathers who get beaten up the most these days for their compromises on who got to exercise those rights and freedoms at first, and engaging heavily in slavery themselves, understood that these things were wrong. Hypocritical as it may be, the likes of Washington and Jefferson have writings demonstrating that they knew we weren’t living up to our ideals, and viewed slavery as a cancer upon our nation. They believed in universal human rights, and overall very liberal ideals for their time, even if they didn’t walk the walk in key areas. That isn’t to forgive them for any of that, of course (the reality that they knew it was wrong makes it worse than what we can usually open up for the argument “they were following the standards of their time”)
@@fromthehills814 Let me get this straight. These were people who fought a guerilla war against the most powerful military force in the world for the sake of human rights. Nobody in the world had ever done anything like that before, including the French. And, by the way, had they lost the war, the British would have hunted all of them down and hanged them. And their families. And not all of them owned slaves. Which, at the time, was customary and completely legal. Smearing Thomas Jefferson'ls legacy by simply labeling him a "slaver" and ignoring, oh, the Declaration of Independence is evidence of an incredible lack of knowledge of history. Oh, and Sally Hemings voluntarily returned from France to Virginia with him, so please, don't even bother playing that card.
Nah. Most of the founding fathers were definitely conservative even in those times. Alexander Hamilton wanted George Washington to be this county's king or "president for life". Most of the freedoms and rights we have now came throughout the years that were hard fought by the people. Going by your logic, if the USA kept the founding fathers' version of liberalism, we would still have slaves because of the right to protect our "property". Besides, not sure why we would want to worship the system the founding fathers' created that is meant to protect the interests of the rich, elite, landowning class.
Nope. What gave us that was _progressive activism and movements_ that challenged liberalism's commitment to unrestricted capitalism and the interests of the ruling class generally, among other bougie values and goals. Also the founders were a bunch of bigots, aristocrats and straight up fascists (who used to avoid travelling through Pennsylvania so that none of their 500+ enslaved people can get any ideas) and the sooner and further the country moves away from their ideals the better
Conservatives are so against hate speech but only when it's not against them. Conservatives are against terrorism when it's against the US but okay when it's to other countries. The double standards of the US sickens me.

Ah yes. Ban the teachers trying to teach kids basic consent….not SUS at all. 🙄 Learning that you have a body (not really in any depth bar bones or muscles), that you can have physical and mental boundaries and how to use them, and that periods and sweating or hair exists because puberty, isn’t porn. Same, and I agree, she is unquestionably such.
If Nex didn't die of physical trauma they died of emotional trauma resulting in them taking their own life. It's truly heartbreaking that this is what the US has come to.
The report said they died from Benadryl so it's fairly likely it was an accident resulting from trauma complications. So the physical fight is still probably to blame

Leeja Miller I’m not sure if this is your wheelhouse, but it’s important imo. A drive by shooting victims parent was organizing a fundraiser to support responsible gun control at Wayne State University a few weeks ago. The school cancelled the event because of serious threats to injury to the event goer’s & the school. The school donated to the fund to attempt to compensate for having to cancel the event, but how is physical threat to supporting responsible gun use not alarming to the greater public?
It's not meant to sway the greater public to a certain opinion. Just make them fear trying to oppose lax gun laws. Fear is really effective at enforcing specific societal norms.

It appears she is just a grifter as she tried a couple of different tactics to make money and this one hit.
It's because systemic oppression benefits those who uphold it. It's self-interest at the expense of human life and wellbeing. The erosion of these systems inspires those who have bought in to the framework of oppression to defend it, which is how we get "the LGBTQs have gone too far" and other such fig leafs disguising intent.

No, they like terrorism against the US, but only when perpetrated by men in gray.
