If released, this game will be played and purchased for years to come. You won't make as much up front sales compared to the 3D titles you all care about, but over time as us stoners wake up and find this title. If released, a new 2D mk will start around for many many years if redone like this video. There's only a few of the 3D titles anyone cares to pick up and play after 10 years. A game like this one will never die....
characters from MK1 to MK3 combined as the Trilogy was definitely the best. I grew up playing it. I don't very much enjoy the 3D games as much as I enjoyed the games from 1-3.

Cyber Sub Zero should of been a thing ALONG time ago thanks so much for that colour swap. Trilogy would of always been more a exciting with Chameleon and Khameleon and a few other Cyber Ninja; A green ninja robot would be dope too.

I am most impressed, especially with some of the characters change cubes to give you more options. If you could guarantee refined gameplay with the way trilogy was (no online bs and lag to deal with), and could master it on something near a 4k constant refresh rate, and include all the great stuff you've added, while still keeping a little of the nostalgic feel. I'm telling you I'd be willing to drop $300 to $350 U.S. dollars for it to play on my PS4-Pro or hopefully a soon upgraded to PS5 system..y main thin is seemless gameplay, with no infinity loops or glitches. And the selfish side of me wants a few later added characters such as Quan Chi, Fujin, Kratos (both..... the you Greek tricked by Ares, and the flip side of the character totem cod be him older in Norse lands, or one more turn could be an adolescent training for Atreyus. Obviously, there are so ma y greats I'd like to see return in a throwback game, such as Havik, and possibly the King of Edenia that lost to Shao Kahn. Make that game with good mechanics and no glitch issues or trouble with colossian boxes, and you, good sir (or ma'am) would get a $300.00 or $400.00 from me, even if was for only one copy of the game. I think there is a huge opportunity to revisit the first few games because of nostalgia meaning. Right now we'd be a great time to capitalize on it. Please feel free to post a sincere and earnest replay if you get to a place and that kind of movement on the technological end is a possibility. In the meantime I'd like to just say that I appreciate group's of passionate fans that stick with those four or five franchises they love and always try to better them. Hey, please stay healthy in all you do and stay happy. Bright side?...... if you ever can pull this off and find ways around licensing and copyright bullshit, I know a guy (me) that would save and budget 400 or 500 dollars to get a true 4k, working version of the game that I could use on my PS4Pro, and soon my PS5. how about different versions of mk1 reptile where he has either both sub and scorp and a different version where he has his normal moves. same with noob, the fast scorpion or his regular move set and the mk3 version is a shadow kano.

I played MKP Chaotic New Era last night and this looks way more polished and complete. I think the character sprites should be a little bit bigger if its an HD edition but that is just my opinion. They look kinda small on the character selection screen as well but otherwise looks amazing.
That'd be a dumb idea since this is based on the actual MK characters and close to the real MK Trilogy game roster. There's tons of other Mugen's around with made up character crap. This game is simply MK Trilogy with modern quality of life upgrades like HD graphics, Cyber Sub Zero and more importantly, all of the proper characters from PS 1 & N64 with the older sprites / portraits of the original Mk 1 & 2 chars.

Mortal kombat trilogy is still unmatched til this day. It gave you everything you wanted in a MK game.

The game has some hidden characters that you can use with cheats or by doing some very specific things.

man, you play brutal. almost the speed of cpu. The AI in this game cheats sometimes which is why you lost by rain
